A Powerful Force for Good – Wisdom Unplugged
Thank you for joining us for our 5 days per week wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is day 432 of our trek, and it is Thursday and time for our 2-3 minute mini-trek called Wisdom Unplugged. This short nugget of wisdom includes an inspirational quote with a little additional content for today’s trek. Consider this your vitamin supplement of wisdom each Tuesday and Thursday. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget.
Today’s quote is from one of my favorite virtual mentors Zig Ziglar who says, “Ambition, fueled by compassion, wisdom, and integrity, is a powerful force for good that will turn the wheels of industry and open the doors of opportunity for you and countless others.”
There is a strategic combination of good traits when coupled together form a cohesive bond that will guarantee success. Wisdom and integrity are the foundation for success, but they will not impact others unless they are powered by compassion. Even with those three powerful attributes, there will be no force for movement without ambition. It is then that the wheels start to turn, and as the momentum increases, this combination flings open the floodgate of opportunity allowing them to pour over you to such an extent that there will be plenty for you and the countless others that you impact. Plant wisdom, integrity, compassion, and ambition in your lives, and your harvest will be overflowing. As we are reminded in Romans 12:9, “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.”
