Shownotes
It is staggering to think that Martin Foyle only had one full season in charge of York City but his time was eventful and in the main, a really successful time. From taking on a side faltering towards regionalised football, Martin kept the club up in 2009 but also got them to the FA Trophy Final before moulding the squad into a much stronger, slicker outfit that enjoyed a run to the FA Cup Third Round and the 2010 Play-off final. Here Martin reflects on his spell at Bootham Crescent, the impact he had on Richard Brodie, the reasons behind his exit early into the 2010-11 season, how he influenced the decision of his replacement and many more key insights.
