Tara Bryan:

Hey everybody, it's Tara Bryan and you are listening to the

2

:

Course Building Secrets Podcast.

3

:

Whether you're a coach or a CEO,

the success of your team and clients

4

:

is based on your ability to deliver

a consistent experience and guide

5

:

them on the fastest path to results.

6

:

This podcast will give you practical

real life tips that you can use today

7

:

to build your online experiences that

get results and create raving fans.

8

:

Why?

9

:

So you can monetize your expertise

and serve more people without adding

10

:

more time or team to your business.

11

:

If you're looking to uncover your million

dollar framework, package it and use

12

:

it to scale, you're in the right place.

13

:

Let's dive in.

14

:

Alright, everybody.

15

:

In this episode, we're going to dive into

one of the biggest mindset challenges

16

:

that I get all of the time with people

who are starting to get into this game.

17

:

And I just got the question the

other day, so I know that it's still

18

:

something that's on people's minds.

19

:

I know that I've recorded this before,

but it, it needs to be repeated.

20

:

So, the question is, why would somebody

buy my thing, when you could go out and

21

:

go to Google, and go to YouTube, and

watch all the videos, and do all the

22

:

things, and implement on my own without

actually going into somebody's program.

23

:

All right, so I'm going

to break it down for you.

24

:

First of all, yes, you can go to

YouTube, you could go to the Google,

25

:

and you could type all the things in,

and you could hunt and peck your way

26

:

through setting up or learning or doing

whatever it is that you want to do to

27

:

go from the problem that you have to

the solution that you're looking for.

28

:

But my question is, is like, if you

could do that and it was super easy,

29

:

why wouldn't you do it already?

30

:

Right?

31

:

Like, Most of the time when you're helping

your customers and they have that question

32

:

for you, you're like, there's a reason

why you haven't just gone and done that

33

:

and solved that problem for yourself.

34

:

So that's the first thing.

35

:

The second thing is, is like,

here's the problem with that.

36

:

You're going to spend a ton of time and

effort going in and trying to learn all

37

:

the things without knowing the path or the

map that's going to get you there, right?

38

:

So if you think about, like, if you're

going from California to New York, you are

39

:

not going to just, like, jump in your car

and you know, Start driving there, right?

40

:

You don't know the steps, you don't

know the, the, you know, places that you

41

:

need to stop, where there's hotels or

coffee or whatever it is that you need.

42

:

You are going to consult Google

Maps or whatever mapping software

43

:

you use to get you the fastest path

to go from one point to the other.

44

:

And that's what a coach or you know,

somebody who has a solution for you

45

:

is that based on their experience and

their ability to help other people get

46

:

from point A to point B, they've put

a path together, or hopefully they've

47

:

put a path together, that allows you

to get there faster than you can get

48

:

there by going out and, you know,

doing all the things because here's

49

:

the other thing is like there's a

strategy and then there's the tactics.

50

:

A lot of times people try and implement

the tactics without a strategy.

51

:

And so you end up with yes, some

things that are done, but again,

52

:

they're not done in the right order.

53

:

They're not necessarily

done with strategic intent.

54

:

They're just sort of like you know, put

out there and so you waste a lot of time.

55

:

You waste actually more time and

money by just going out and trying

56

:

to figure it out on your own.

57

:

However, I encourage all of my people

who ask me that question, like go try it.

58

:

Go out on your own and see whether

or not you are going to implement

59

:

faster, whether or not you have the

bigger picture that helps you go from,

60

:

from you know, one end to the other.

61

:

And and then what's going to happen if

you run into challenges, if you have

62

:

questions, if you're not exactly sure

how something works, then that is another

63

:

reason why when you're creating a curated,

curated experience for your people, that's

64

:

what you're thinking through, right?

65

:

Like, what is the fastest

path I can give them?

66

:

What is the easiest and most

direct way that I can help

67

:

support them as they're going?

68

:

One of the biggest problems I'm going to

tell you with just going and trying to

69

:

figure it out on your own, which again

is entirely possible, but one of the

70

:

biggest problems is we get so distracted.

71

:

Did you know that literally

we have less of an attention

72

:

span right now than Goldfish.

73

:

Yeah, you're like, ooh, that one

looks interesting, or, or, ooh, I

74

:

should implement this random thing,

or, oh, this would be super cool, and

75

:

you lose sight of the overall plan.

76

:

And so a lot of times it will take you

way longer to implement, way longer

77

:

to launch, way longer to do whatever

it is that you're trying to do,

78

:

because you're kind of going through

the ins and the outs and the dead

79

:

ends and all of the different things.

80

:

And so when you're a coach, when

you are you know, helping people you

81

:

know, business owner, whomever, right?

82

:

Like you're helping somebody

get from point A to point B.

83

:

They're hiring you because you have

the experience to help guide them

84

:

down the path as quickly as possible.

85

:

So that's what I always tell people is

that there is so much value to people

86

:

to get the fast path to get the the help

and support the templates the different

87

:

things that you're giving them as they

are experiencing how to get from point a

88

:

to point b because the reality is again

if they could get there on their own

89

:

they would have been there by now and so

they need that help you need that help

90

:

to have someone else, a trusted mentor,

a trusted advisor, somebody who can help

91

:

you because sometimes you don't even know

the questions to ask that you need to be

92

:

asking to get to where you want to go.

93

:

And that is when you are able to show

up as a trusted advisor and guide for

94

:

your customers, you will help them

not only get it done, but to thrive

95

:

and be able to go to the next level.

96

:

So I love that question

because it's true, right?

97

:

And, and there are a lot of

programs or trainings or YouTube

98

:

videos or all of the things.

99

:

And there's a ton of content out there

so you don't know exactly, you know,

100

:

which one is the right one, right?

101

:

And what a lot of people do is they'll

take some stuff from this person

102

:

and some stuff from this person

and some stuff from this person.

103

:

And then they get conflicting

advice, and so they start

104

:

kind of going back and forth.

105

:

And so that's why it's, it is, if you

can create a curated experience for

106

:

people that really is driven by the

problem that they have and the result

107

:

that they're looking for, and you're

able to give them a clear, personalized

108

:

path that helps them actually get to

where they want to go without all of the

109

:

starts and the stops and the the roller

coaster ride and all of the things.

110

:

That is worth all of the effort

that it takes for an expense that

111

:

it takes for somebody to to want

to be a part of somebody's program.

112

:

So there you go.

113

:

That that is the answer that

I have to that question.
