Shownotes

A Friend to Alexander is a classic short story written by James Thurber. Harry Andrews is an architect who is having strange dreams about Aaron Burr. In one of them he was talking to Alexander Hamilton (1st US Secretary of the Treasury) when Aaron Burr (3rd vice president. Under Thomas Jefferson) stepped up and slapped Hamilton in the face and then when Harry looked at Hamilton he was his brother, the one who was killed by a drunk in the cemetery. When in one of his dreams Burr killed Hamilton in a duel Harry thought that would also be the end of his dreams but Aaron Burr still keeps coming in to his dreams.
