A reminder, Our Gods like to have fun. They are so fun loving. Who said we have to be serious and have a sullen face when we pray to God. It can be a lot of fun to love and think about God.
Ganeshji wanted to come and meet you all again Children. So we said, ok Ganeshji, we will tell a Ganesh story again.
There was this little town where everyone loved Ganeshji. They would always sing and make yummy food for Ganapati. Not only this, Ganapati would come and play with them all the time.
The mothers would chant shlokas for Ganpati and the children would sing songs. They were all so happy.
Song - Come Oh Bulky stomach Ganapati
Shloka - Ajam Nirvikalpam (2 para done)
But there was a slight problem, there was this Big Gaj Mukh Asur, who would trouble them all the time. They really did not like him. He looked like Ganpati, but his was not kind like Ganpati he was mean and rude. One day he went to fight with Ganapati. He went straight to Kailash.
There at his home, Ganeshji was preparing to sing for all the children who have had their birthdays from January till June and also for those who will have their birthday in July and August.
Song - Janamdin midam (Sanskrit birthday song and happy birthday to you cha cha cha)
Now, Gaj Mukh Asur kept shouting and calling Ganpati to fight, there was a fight alright. A sweet fight, where enemies became friends forever, and Gaj Mukh Asur, become the loving Mooshak. The vehicle of Ganapati.
Now now, there is a difference between a mouse and a Mooshak. It is not the same. If you see a mooshak, remember that Ganapati, yes our dear Ganesh is near by.
The morals are;
⁃ We can not make anyone like us by force.
⁃ To be loved by others, we should first learn to give and love.
⁃ It is best to try and avoid a fight.
⁃ However, if we can’t avoid it, we should be quick to forgive and become friends again.
The most important,
⁃ Ganeshji, our dear Ganapati loves us and the minute we call him and say Ganpati Bappa Moriya he will come running to meet us.
