Shownotes

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama, a wealth oracle who works at the intersection of strategy, Ancestral Intelligence™, and sovereignty.

We talk about why money feels so hard for value-driven business owners, how hustle culture disrupts the natural flow of wealth, and what happens when you stop trying to force money into existence and instead learn how to receive it.

This conversation is about sacred reciprocity, balanced exchange, and why wealth that lasts has to feel good in your body. If you’ve ever felt burned out, anxious, or exhausted by “doing all the right things” with money, this episode offers a completely different lens.

BMB EP 024 Kimberly interview

===

Kim: [:

Kim: You are a wealth oracle. So would you take a moment and introduce yourself and um, tell folks about what it means to be a wealth oracle?

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Sure. Yeah, and I ditto that moment. I don't recall how we met, but I know the ancestors' hands were all over it and I am grateful

Speaker 2: very much.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah, Sure. I am Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama and I am a

erence between maybe a money [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: So the paths do cross in some ways. So I work with my clients to create what I call boots on the ground, sovereign wealth. So there's structure and infrastructure and, economic conditions and KPIs, just like you would work with any coach, any money coach. But then there's this really beautiful added layer of Ancestral Intelligence™ and what your soul came to do and how you are meant to create wealth and also how you're meant to circulate wealth.

ur body, that also creates a [:

Speaker 2: Absolutely. And I have had the distinct pleasure in being in a couple of your programs that you have run. And I have to say, they are life changing. Massively life changing. And not at the level that you would expect in working with a wealth oracle or a money coach, or, you know what I mean? It was definitely not what I would've anticipated, but it moved the needle in my own personal journey so much further than I would've ever imagined, to be honest, for as little effort

rs of study and all of that. [:

Speaker 2: And I, I've noticed in my other participants that were in the groups that I've been in with you, similar things happened. So that's why I was so excited to have you on the podcast when we're talking about money, because I think a lot of times business owners get really wrapped up in this is gonna be difficult.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah.

Speaker 2: The thing I walked away with from those programs with you is, no, it doesn't.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah,

Speaker 2: it doesn't have to be that hard.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah. I think you just answered the question perfectly. So what's the distinction between a money coach and a wealth oracle? It is that, it's that energetic, it's the frequency, it's how I stabilize the money field around you so that it can feel less difficult.

ama: You know, and there's a [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: a higher truth. So my work is, I was gonna say rooted, but it's, it's, the cosmology is, is the higher laws. So we're operating from a different place of where money is even sourced inside of this ecosystem that I've created. And that's why it felt maybe a little less efforting, you know, for you because

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: we're just operating in a different place when it comes to money.

line foundation stuff and I, [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2: And it was amazing. It was amazing. So let me get back to some of my listeners out there who they are value-driven business owners who still feel a lot of tension and anxiety around money.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2: From your perspective, where does money flow actually get interrupted energetically and internally, and I know that that could be something we could talk about for the next six days, but maybe just a little bit of a hint of where people can start to look for where it's getting interrupted in their world.

r not your mind goes in that [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: or fatigued fatigue because you're efforting the way that you just described earlier. You know, you might use language like, oh, you're feeling burned out. So there's just like that, all that kind of prior energy. And I think this is what happens to high integrity, value driven, especially if you're a solopreneur,

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: you start to think, oh, I need to add more force. I need more firepower. I need more horsepower. I need more. And that's the language that we are, we're all taught,

Speaker 2: yeah,

eater economy we have things [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: We see, we say money flows. We have banks the same way a river has a bank. So if you're finding that you're feeling anxiety around wealth creation. And you're still trying to bring more force, more firepower. You know, if I just, this is where people start to hustle and grind then it'll sound counterintuitive.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: But the thing to do is to stop adding more force. And I've been there so I know how scary that notion can sometimes feel like if I'm not producing, if I'm not earning, if I'm not, you know, throwing everything I know that I can throw at it. I'm creating money. But the thing is, is you're not creating money, you're not creating it.

urced. And that's this water [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Universe is ordered. So if throwing more energy at it, throwing more firepower at it isn't working, then we can just do 180 degrees the opposite. Yeah. And that's where you get really scary for solopreneurs because you'll think if I do nothing or if I stop doing what I'm doing, then how's it gonna come?

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Because, and that is exactly where it starts to flow. Because

Speaker 2: it's, yeah, people give you that advice, but it's super hard to follow. Right?

d I want to acknowledge that [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Like no one's teaching you that in B School.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: But that's actually how, that's actually how things are ordered. Money requires a measure of patience if you wanna create wealth and sustain wealth. So we make a distinction between I'm creating money and I'm also creating real sovereign wealth. But, you know, the standard order of operations is similar on a, on a universal level.

the biggest question I want [:

Speaker 2: differ from this modern hustle based culture and narrative that most entrepreneurs have feel as if they have inherited

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah, no, you, you actually have inherited it. We've all inherited the, these systems, right? Well, from a, from a purely indigenous perspective, one of the principles of co-creation, first of all, it's a co-creative process.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: That's the first distinction to be made in wealth creation. Your money is energy. You're not making money. You're not creating money. And if you could take some of that pressure off yourself and really, really hear me when I say, you are not responsible for making it,. You are not responsible for creating it.

're responsible for stepping [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: And you know, how we work with our ancestors and Ancestral Intelligence is we look for patterns of behavior. We look for how things are actually ordered. We look at, you know, if I've been exhibiting this behavior for a period of time, if I've been doing this thing and it's not netting the result that I desire, then that's the, that's just information.

championing you, who can see [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: They know what you inherited. They know what unfinished business you have. They know and they want to support you in completing that in a way that feels good to you, so that you're not always in survival mode. That information is available to you. And so when we connect into that, that truth and that awareness, then we can

ur spiritual escrow in terms [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: It's just waiting for you to access a new way of being, and this is different than identity work, but to access a new way of being with wealth itself because your ancestors have walked the, walked this path ahead of you and they want, and they have this information that's available to you now. And so

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: it's, it's really just a question of how, they're kind of funny. They're like, you can have it any way you want it. Do you want it, you want it to be hard. Okay. I mean, and, and that's also how the universe responds to us. Oh, she wants to do it the hard way. She thinks she has to learn a lesson.

tive, oh, it has to be hard. [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Having early conversations when, especially when I was in my corporate job, you have to give people more value. This will sound very familiar to you and your, your clients. If you are an entrepreneur, you are taught you need to give more value than you receive.

Speaker 2: Yeah,

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: no, that is an uneven exchange. That the universe doesn't recognize.

alance, order, harmony, that [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: And, you know, so you'll, you'll make a lot of money and then you'll go dark. And that's that feast or famine phenomenon that I, that I see people sometimes get into because it's just too, there's too much effort. It's like it, the exchange doesn't feel fair to you. Then your body and your mind says, I'm not gonna keep doing this because it costs me too much to make $10,000 or whatever the number is.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Doesn't matter what the number is.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Ancestral Intelligence says [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: That's a huge difference in how you get to show up for yourself. That's a form of self care as an entrepreneur, and it is vital to your sustainability as an entrepreneur and creating legacy wealth and being sovereign in your body.

Speaker 2: Absolutely. I, I, when you're talking, it reminded me of advice that I've been given repeatedly, and I'm gonna say it was good advice at the time, but it's not good advice now.

n. Yeah. And then they never [:

Speaker 2: Kimberly, I've gotta say your emails. I am on your email list. And the emails that Kimberly sends are they are so they excite me when I see them. 'cause they always unlock something and I don't know if she intends to do that, may I? Well, I know Kimberly does and she intends to do it, so, but they're like little golden keys in, in unlocking little pieces of the puzzle

Speaker 2: kind of all the way along. And I also think they're a really good introduction for somebody to figure out if maybe working with you or attending some of your programs. I have had a peek behind the curtain to know that she's got fantastic things coming up, and so super excited about where you're headed, but

gonna put a note in the show [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah. Thank you for saying that. I so enjoy writing those emails. I write all my own copy.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: I, I love it. I used to, you know what? I thought I was gonna be a romance writer once upon a time. I really wanted to do that. I just seriously did, I really thought, this is what I'm gonna do. And so, writing my emails is, it's a creative outlet for me. And, you know, this is why I'm a wealth oracle and not a money coach and not a marketing expert

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: even though I spent 21 years in the game of marketing and launching products that are household names today, it's because, you know, a marketing person or a money coach would say don't write your emails. The, you know, in, in story tell as much as you do or give so much away.

nyama: Let people, you know, [:

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: I want you to walk away with something that's beneficial that I know when you come and you sit and you spend five minutes or 10 minutes, or however long reading that email, that's an exchange of your energy. Time is currency and I appreciate that very much. Yeah. And so I want there to be sacred reciprocity in that exchange every single time you read something for me.

berly Imfezi Ingonyama: So I [:

Speaker 2: Yeah, I wish more of my email clients would approach it that way. And again, if you're writing formula emails, there's nothing wrong with that. You need training wheels. Kimberly is at the advanced level, well, thank you Kimberly for hanging out with me, Kimberly. It's been a Kimberly kind of day, so thank you so much for hanging out with us today.

Speaker 2: I appreciate you so much, and you guys make sure you go to the show notes, click on that, subscribe to Kimberly's list, and find some golden keys for yourself.

Kimberly Imfezi Ingonyama: Yeah, thank you Kim. It's always good to be with you.
