Welcome to Power Hour, where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Kylie Terradez, and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.
Speaker A:Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.
Speaker A:Let's get started.
Speaker A:I want to take a moment and just open it up in prayer.
Speaker A:So get your bible, get ready.
Speaker A:We're going to get into the word of God, but before we do that, we're going to pray.
Speaker A:So, Father God, I just thank you that you're here with us, right where we are, wherever we're watching, wherever we're listening from.
Speaker A:Lord, I thank you that you're right there in the midst of us, that you're.
Speaker A:That you're helping us to be attentive, to cut out distractions.
Speaker A:Father, I thank you that you give us ears to hear and mind to comprehend and our hearts to just understand and receive everything that you have for us.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, Amen.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Well, I am super excited about this subject for today's program.
Speaker A:That's right, we're going to be talking about the supernatural power of peace.
Speaker A:Now, this isn't something, you know, when we, when we think about peace, this conjures up all kinds of different ideas.
Speaker A:In the 70s, you had the hippies, right?
Speaker A:The 60s and 70s, you know, the hippies.
Speaker A:Peace, man.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:This isn't that kind of peace.
Speaker A:This isn't the kind of peace that your mom said, man, I just, I just need some peace and quiet.
Speaker A:No, this isn't, this isn't like that.
Speaker A:This is the supernatural power of peace.
Speaker A:You know, when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we receive the Prince of Peace.
Speaker A:Jesus's atonement on the cross paid for us to live a life of peace.
Speaker A:Now, I'm not talking about a peace that happens to be in our natural circumstance.
Speaker A:I'm not talking about world peace.
Speaker A:And I hate to disappoint you.
Speaker A:I'm going to upset some people right off the bat here.
Speaker A:But if we're praying for world peace, we're really not praying the scripture, you know, Jesus says there's going to be wars, there's going to be rumors of wars.
Speaker A:I did not.
Speaker A:He actually says, I did not come to bring peace but a sword, you know, then this is kind of almost seems contradictory to what we're talking about here.
Speaker A:But what Jesus was saying is there's not going to be peace out there in the world.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:But there's Peace between God and mankind.
Speaker A:And there's peace in our soul.
Speaker A:Soul.
Speaker A:There's peace in our heart.
Speaker A:There's peace in our spirit.
Speaker A:Man, that's even greater because no matter what is happening in our outward environment, no matter what is happening in this crazy world around us, and.
Speaker A:And I think the world's gotten a lot crazier.
Speaker A:I don't know if it's just me, but, you know, there's all stuff going on that is way beyond our control.
Speaker A:And if we get absorbed into those things, if we allow our hearts to get drawn into the things around us, and, you know, we're going to start to lose our peace or lose our minds.
Speaker A:You know, you've heard people say that, man, I just lost my peace over that.
Speaker A:That seems to be a phrase that, you know, we hear in the church.
Speaker A:Oftentimes what we mean was, you know, I got moved away from.
Speaker A:From a place of rest.
Speaker A:I got moved away to where my emotions were stirred up, to where I was distracted to.
Speaker A:Maybe my emotions got the better of me.
Speaker A:Maybe I lost my temper.
Speaker A:Maybe.
Speaker A:Maybe I got real anxious into fear and anxiety and worry.
Speaker A:Maybe I got super emotional, whatever it was, you know, we talk about this as losing our peace.
Speaker A:What we're going to go through today, though, and this is really going to help some people, so get into the word of God with me.
Speaker A:And then we're going to pray as well.
Speaker A:But peace is our right as covenant believers.
Speaker A:I want to show you something here.
Speaker A:We're going to turn over into the Old Testament.
Speaker A:I want you to just look at this scripture with me, because often we use this, this scripture in Isaiah 53, we use it for healing.
Speaker A:And we kind of miss the last part of this.
Speaker A:Now, the whole chapter of Isaiah 53 is describing Jesus.
Speaker A:Before Jesus was even born, the prophet Isaiah was prophesying his birth and also his life and his crucifixion and what that would mean for us.
Speaker A:So this is an extremely important passage of scripture that we have.
Speaker A:It starts out in the very first verse.
Speaker A:Who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
Speaker A:Now, the arm of the Lord.
Speaker A:This is Jesus.
Speaker A:God is talking about his Son here, and it describes him.
Speaker A:It says, for he grew up before him a tender plant, a root out of a dry ground.
Speaker A:He has no formal majesty that we should look upon him, nor his appearance, and that we should desire him.
Speaker A:So, you know, Jesus looked like an ordinary dude.
Speaker A:He didn't look like anything.
Speaker A:He was.
Speaker A:He didn't walk and, you know, butterflies just Came out of his, you know, shoes and gold dust just fell off of him and angels sang around him.
Speaker A:No, he.
Speaker A:When he walked along, you know, he.
Speaker A:Everyone just saw him as a regular guy.
Speaker A:He didn't have an appearance that made him anything, look anything other than an ordinary, ordinary man.
Speaker A:He says he was despised and rejected of men.
Speaker A:A man of sorrows acquainted with grief.
Speaker A:Now we know in the scriptures and as we've studied these before, that sorrows and grief, it's talking about pain, it's talking about grief, it's talking about physical affliction.
Speaker A:And the word grief is also talking about anxiety.
Speaker A:You know, when we talk about losing our peace, oftentimes we, we that encompasses really embracing or suffering with a form of anxiety.
Speaker A:It says, as we hid, as it were, our faces from him.
Speaker A:He was despised and we did not esteem him.
Speaker A:Surely, though he has borne our grief, he's born your pain, he's born your sickness.
Speaker A:He's born your disease and he's carried our sorrows.
Speaker A:When we study that out, that's what those words mean.
Speaker A:It's not just grief as in losing a loved one.
Speaker A:It's talking about.
Speaker A:It's talking much deeper about that.
Speaker A:But grief is actually depicting sickness and disease.
Speaker A:Sickness and disease is in there.
Speaker A:Yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.
Speaker A:And he was wounded.
Speaker A:This is the bit that really hits it home for us.
Speaker A:He was wounded for our transgressions.
Speaker A:He was bruised for our iniquities.
Speaker A:This is describing the punishment that Jesus suffered on the cross.
Speaker A:He was wounded and bruised for our iniquities, our sin and the ch.
Speaker A:Here's the bit I want to get to the chastisement of our peace.
Speaker A:Not your neighbor's peace, not your husband's peace or your mother in law's peace.
Speaker A:No, your peace.
Speaker A:Our peace was upon him on the cross.
Speaker A:He paid for our sickness, he paid for a disease.
Speaker A:He paid for our protection, our deliverance, our forgiveness.
Speaker A:He also paid for our peace.
Speaker A:He paid.
Speaker A:This, this peace that we are talking about, it isn't just something that we have that comes and goes.
Speaker A:No, it is a covenant right for us as believers.
Speaker A:We are supposed to be people that walk in the supernatural power of peace, not just somebody that visits there.
Speaker A:But peace is as much ours as healing is ours, right?
Speaker A:He says by his stripes we are healed.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:And the enemy knows that this belong.
Speaker A:That this peace belongs to you.
Speaker A:Previously we talked about how the enemy comes to we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:It says in the scripture, he says the enemy tries to come and steal from us.
Speaker A:And he can only steal from us things that we already possess in Christ.
Speaker A:That's why he tries to attack you in things you already have.
Speaker A:He tries to attack you in the realm of your identity.
Speaker A:You're already a child of God.
Speaker A:He tries to attack you in the realm of your health.
Speaker A:You know Jesus by his stripes.
Speaker A:You were healed.
Speaker A:You already healed of the Lord.
Speaker A:He tries to attack you in your.
Speaker A:In your financial provision.
Speaker A:Jesus.
Speaker A:Jesus died that you might be rich.
Speaker A:I mean, all of these things, you.
Speaker A:He's already been placed on the inside of us in our spirit, man, by the power and atonement of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:And peace is included in that package.
Speaker A:It's part of your package of benefits that you got as a believer and thanks to Jesus.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So this piece.
Speaker A:What does this piece mean?
Speaker A:You know, the word in the original text was shalom.
Speaker A:In the Hebrew, shalom.
Speaker A:Now, many words in Hebrew has greater meanings than what we'd have in our English language.
Speaker A:So if we look at the Hebrew word shalom, it means these things.
Speaker A:It means rest.
Speaker A:Rest.
Speaker A:It means, you know, it's talking about peace, it's talking about safety, it's talking about health and happiness, it's talking about favor and friendship.
Speaker A:So peace and rest are right in there with your.
Speaker A:With your protection, with your wholeness, with your healing, with your favor, with your friendship.
Speaker A:Right in there is rest and peace.
Speaker A:This is as much a superpower on the inside of you as anything else that you have in Christ.
Speaker A:You know, this is so powerful that the enemy tries every day to steal you, to steal it from you, to rob you of it, to get you to step out of that place of peace.
Speaker A:You know, previously we talked about letting peace rule, letting it umpire our hearts, letting it make the decisions, letting it cool the shots.
Speaker A:You know, the enemy is so powerful that the enemy wants to rob you of it.
Speaker A:I'm going to show you some things because the enemy just does not know what to do with a peaceful believer.
Speaker A:You know, in Genesis, this is where we see something really interesting going over here to, to Genesis chapter two.
Speaker A:And I want to show you where this idea of rest comes in.
Speaker A:Okay, so the heaven.
Speaker A:I'm just going to start in verse one.
Speaker A:This is when God created the world, right back in the creation of earth.
Speaker A:So when the heavens and the earth and all of their hosts were finished on the seventh day, God completed His work, which he had done.
Speaker A:And he rested on the seventh day from all of his work.
Speaker A:That he had done.
Speaker A:So he didn't just rest, you know, because this isn't about being lazy.
Speaker A:No, he rested after he'd worked.
Speaker A:Some of us got the wrong idea.
Speaker A:We used grace as a license to do nothing and, you know, and really embrace the idea of rest, but haven't first embraced the idea of work.
Speaker A:You know, God is not against work.
Speaker A:After he had done his work, then he rested.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:We can only have rest if we have first worked.
Speaker A:The scripture describes says it's actually, it's good that man might work, that he might have something to give.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:So God worked.
Speaker A:And then when his work, his responsibilities were done, when he had created everything he needed to, it was complete, that then he rested.
Speaker A:And this is important, he says then he blessed the seventh day and he made it holy because he had rested from all his work.
Speaker A:We can't rest if we don't have first word.
Speaker A:It doesn't even make sense.
Speaker A:He rested from all of his work, which he had created and made.
Speaker A:So this idea of rest came around on the seventh day when God had done everything, he'd done all the hard part.
Speaker A:Then he rested on the seventh day.
Speaker A:You know, the seventh.
Speaker A:The number seven is that.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:That number of completion.
Speaker A:That's where we get the number of completion done.
Speaker A:So it's very.
Speaker A:This idea of rest was right there in the beginning, set about by God.
Speaker A:And, you know, I think in our today's modern society, we have forgotten a little bit about this, that there is a spiritual principle at work.
Speaker A:We work and then we rest.
Speaker A:And we can't do all working and we can't do all resting.
Speaker A:There needs to be a good blend of those things in our life.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And that's how God has set it up.
Speaker A:But this rest was already.
Speaker A:It was already laid out for us by the Lord.
Speaker A:Now we know after that there is the fall of mankind.
Speaker A:Adam and Eve, sin, they buy into the lies of the enemy, and it changes everything.
Speaker A:But Adam and Eve were supposed to live in the fruits of God's labor in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker A:That place of rest was created for them.
Speaker A:Adam didn't actually start working until after the fall.
Speaker A:His work in the garden before the fall was yesterday to.
Speaker A:To care and tend for the animals.
Speaker A:But after the fall, it says the work became hard, it became laborious.
Speaker A:It had effort associated with it because that hardness, you know, when he tilled the ground, there were thorns in it, right?
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was laborious.
Speaker A:There were stones, there was obstacles.
Speaker A:That labor, that effort, that fight, that struggle came after the fall.
Speaker A:Before then, work was a blessing, and then it involved rest.
Speaker A:But that rest was stolen from Adam and Eve at the fall of mankind.
Speaker A:Well, good news is, at the cross, Jesus redeemed us.
Speaker A:You know, John, chapter 19, verse 30.
Speaker A:Jesus says on the cross his last three words on earth was.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It is finished.
Speaker A:Tetelesta.
Speaker A:It is finished.
Speaker A:He finished what God had started.
Speaker A:He finished.
Speaker A:He completed.
Speaker A:He restored to mankind the blessing of that rest that God initiated right back there in the garden.
Speaker A:It is finished.
Speaker A:It is completed.
Speaker A:He restored to you what the enemy stole from you in the garden through Adam and Eve.
Speaker A:Man, this is.
Speaker A:This is so powerful.
Speaker A:This rest is something that the enemy has been after taking from you for a long time.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:I'm not talking even necessarily, although it's good to have physical rest, I'm not talking necessarily about a rest that happens in your physical realm.
Speaker A:I'm talking about a rest that happens in your soul.
Speaker A:We need to learn to rest in the finished work of the cross.
Speaker A:That means to place our confidence, our belief system, build our life upon a work that Jesus has already finished.
Speaker A:Why is this so important?
Speaker A:Because many of us can testify to times when symptoms have tried to attack our body.
Speaker A:And it's back then that we say, oh, no, no, no.
Speaker A:I'm resting in the finished work of the cross.
Speaker A:I'm resting in.
Speaker A:I have peace because of that rest that Jesus has already paid the price by his stripes.
Speaker A:I was healed.
Speaker A:You know, when the.
Speaker A:When the bills come rolling in and we don't have enough money to pay them, we don't have to get all into fear and anxiety.
Speaker A:How am I going to.
Speaker A:How am I going to pay these bills when the Lord is already.
Speaker A:Who has given us rest, financial rest in this area?
Speaker A:You know, we know that we work and then we rest.
Speaker A:We give and then we rest.
Speaker A:And so we can.
Speaker A:We can go back to when the enemy comes to accuses.
Speaker A:We can go back to a finished work of the cross.
Speaker A:There is peace and confidence.
Speaker A:And when we have that rest, that peace in our soul, and we refuse to be moved off of the promise of God, off of the word of God, rather than getting caught up in fear and anxiety and going along with every stress and struggle that the world has, we can go back.
Speaker A:I'm coming back to a. I'm letting peace rule.
Speaker A:I'm not going to be moved in my heart from what the word of God already says that I have.
Speaker A:You see, all of God's promises are yes and amen.
Speaker A:He said yes.
Speaker A:But we need to say Amen.
Speaker A:And you know, it's much easier sometimes to agree with the world, to agree with the symptoms, to agree with, you know, people in the flesh and their opinions than it is with the word of God that that can seem not as close to us sometimes as the people are that are around us.
Speaker A:But the peace of God can only rule in our hearts when we realize it is one of our rights as believers.
Speaker A:Don't let the devil steal your peace from you today.
Speaker A:Don't buy into his lies.
Speaker A:Don't buy into his drama, right?
Speaker A:I always say, you know, there's that saying, save the drama for your mama.
Speaker A:Well, not this mama.
Speaker A:I'm not dealing with your drama, right?
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker A:I have a zero tolerance.
Speaker A:I tell the people in our team here at Terry Days Ministries, I have a zero policy, zero tolerance policy for drama.
Speaker A:I'm not interested in it.
Speaker A:I'm not interested in the gossip.
Speaker A:My peace is in the Lord, and I'm letting that rule and reign in my heart.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:This is so powerful.
Speaker A:And one of the things, the reasons why this is so powerful, and this is a fight too.
Speaker A:This is so powerful because the enemy is almost like there is a protection when we refuse to be moved from a position of peace.
Speaker A:The enemy just does not know what to do with a peaceful believer.
Speaker A:He doesn't know what to do.
Speaker A:Let's go on over here to Mark chapter five.
Speaker A:Now, I want to show you something.
Speaker A:This is the demoniac man, okay?
Speaker A:Now, last time we went through Mark, chapter four, when Jesus got in the boat, they crossed.
Speaker A:He said to his disciples, let us go across to the other side.
Speaker A:Big storm rose up.
Speaker A:And he says to the storm, peace, be still.
Speaker A:That word there, Peace is Arim.
Speaker A:Peace be still.
Speaker A:It means to silence the storm, to stop the noise, to set at one again.
Speaker A:He was setting the physical conditions that were attacking them back to their default position of peace.
Speaker A:You know, when we get into the word of God, when we start to meditate on what Jesus has done as a finished work, that peace of God is ours.
Speaker A:We have already received the Prince of Peace.
Speaker A:Peace is a fruit of our spirit.
Speaker A:When we start to meditate on those things, what happens is we.
Speaker A:Our soul gets reset to its default position as it starts to agree with the peace that's already in our spirit, in the person and presence of Jesus, man.
Speaker A:It's a resetting that happens.
Speaker A:But I want to show you this man.
Speaker A:Mark, chapter five.
Speaker A:This man needed a royal reset.
Speaker A:He really did.
Speaker A:You know, they went over.
Speaker A:Why did they take this trip?
Speaker A:Why did they take this journey where?
Speaker A:They took this journey because they had an assignment on the other side of the lake.
Speaker A:And that assignment was one man that honestly really had nothing to offer Jesus.
Speaker A:But I think this is a great testimony because Jesus will travel.
Speaker A:He will.
Speaker A:He will go to the ends of the earth to find the One.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And this man, even though he had nothing to offer Jesus, he was a man that lived among the Tomb and the Gadarenes, he was possessed with legions of demons, completely demonized.
Speaker A:He'd given his life up to the enemy.
Speaker A:And yet Jesus wanted that man's heart.
Speaker A:You know, if you're watching this today, you've never watched one of our broadcasts.
Speaker A:I want you to know that Jesus loves you, that he is crazy, madly, wildly in love with you.
Speaker A:And nothing that you've ever done in the past will ever change that.
Speaker A:He is yearning today to have a relationship with you no matter what you have done.
Speaker A:Maybe you've.
Speaker A:You've given your life up to the enemy.
Speaker A:Maybe you've sold.
Speaker A:Sold your soul to the.
Speaker A:To the devil.
Speaker A:Maybe you've, you know, sacrificed to him, you know, and you've run from God.
Speaker A:You know, you cannot run far enough.
Speaker A:You can never escape the love of God.
Speaker A:Jesus is always running after you.
Speaker A:He's always pursuing you.
Speaker A:He's just waiting there for you to turn around and recognize him.
Speaker A:And the moment that you do, he'll come into your heart and make you clean.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And if you need to know him, all you need to do is say, jesus, I make you, my Lord.
Speaker A:Come in and be my Lord and my Savior.
Speaker A:Show me.
Speaker A:Reveal yourself to me.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:And if you're doing that for the first time, please call Lamb Ministry.
Speaker A:Please let us know.
Speaker A:We'd love to start this journey of faith with you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:But Jesus came across the lake.
Speaker A:And he says he went.
Speaker A:This is in Mark, chapter five.
Speaker A:He went to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gadarenes.
Speaker A:And when he came out of the boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit came out of the tombs and met him there.
Speaker A:He lived among the tombs.
Speaker A:And he says he was.
Speaker A:No one could constrain him because he was.
Speaker A:He was bound with chains.
Speaker A:Often, you know, he'd break these chains apart, break the shackles to pieces and noises.
Speaker A:No one could subdue him.
Speaker A:No one could reach him.
Speaker A:No one but Jesus.
Speaker A:No one had the power to turn this man's situation around.
Speaker A:No one had the power to bring peace back to this man's soul.
Speaker A:But Jesus and He said, man, he always, day and night, he was in the mountains and the tombs, crying out and cutting himself.
Speaker A:See, this is what a person that is stepped out of peace looks like is a person that's wrapped up, in turmoil.
Speaker A:They're always running, they're always attacking, they're always injuring.
Speaker A:There's always drama.
Speaker A:There's always something, something going on that's not good.
Speaker A:You know, there's a life full of crisis.
Speaker A:These are people that don't live in the supernatural power of peace.
Speaker A:But he says, but when.
Speaker A:This gets me every time.
Speaker A:But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran up and kneeled before him.
Speaker A:Now listen, this wasn't the demons in control at this point, because they weren't going to voluntarily do that.
Speaker A:This man was in control.
Speaker A:No matter how many demons this man, how much of his life had given over to the enemy, the demons were not powerful enough to stop this man from throwing himself at the feet of Jesus.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter what demonic activity you have had in your life.
Speaker A:Those things are not powerful enough to keep you from Jesus when in your heart you decide to be with him.
Speaker A:They're just not that powerful.
Speaker A:He threw himself on the floor in front of Jesus, cried out with a loud voice, what have you to do with me, Jesus, son of the Most High, I adore you, by God.
Speaker A:God, do not torment me.
Speaker A:And Jesus said to the man, come out of him, you unclean spirit.
Speaker A:They start this conversation, you know, and Jesus ends up casting the.
Speaker A:The demons out into the swine, which then even those who fed the.
Speaker A:Who fed the swine fled and reported in the city.
Speaker A:They couldn't understand what they just witnessed.
Speaker A:And he says they came to Jesus and saw him, the man who had been possessed with the legions of demons sitting and clothed.
Speaker A:And in his right mind, you see, if we move away from a position of peace and allow the torment of the enemy to start taking over our thought life, because people have given themselves over to the things of the enemy, and he literally makes people crazy in their minds.
Speaker A:But you know, when this man met Jesus, no matter what had caused this problem in this case, it was actually demonic.
Speaker A:It was not powerful enough to.
Speaker A:When it met the deliverance of Jesus.
Speaker A:And it says they came back and they saw this man.
Speaker A:Now, he wasn't naked, he wasn't cutting himself, he wasn't bound and in chains.
Speaker A:He was clothed.
Speaker A:And in his right mind, he was suddenly restored to rest, restored to peace, restored to clarity.
Speaker A:And he was provided for.
Speaker A:He was kept.
Speaker A:He was well dressed, okay?
Speaker A:His dignity Was, was covered.
Speaker A:He wasn't naked and ashamed anymore.
Speaker A:And he was in his right mind and the people were so.
Speaker A:They'd never seen anything like this.
Speaker A:It made them afraid.
Speaker A:Why did it make them afraid?
Speaker A:Because the enemy does not know what to do with a peaceful believer.
Speaker A:You see, when, when a believer has the world thrown at them and they refuse to move from a position of peace, the enemy has no power over them.
Speaker A:The enemy has no power over you.
Speaker A:When you refuse to buy into his lies and his deception.
Speaker A:When you start to dismantle in your mind every single lie, take down those, those, those lies that have built the wall brick by brick, dismantling that wall of lies brick by brick, freedom starts to break through.
Speaker A:You know, when we, when we get the promises of God and we apply them to our lives and we start to, to let those promises come out of our mouth, it's almost like just punching the throat, punching the devil, right?
Speaker A:I remember one time I had a man come to our door and this was back in England.
Speaker A:And he came to our door and it's a bit of a long story, but cut a long story short here.
Speaker A:We had to fire an employee that we had because of theft and different things.
Speaker A:He'd been stealing from us and we fired him.
Speaker A:But he had a debt that he owned to a gang and when the gang came to collect his debt and he said, well, this is the address and these, the people that you need to go collect that debt from.
Speaker A:And it was our address as his employees.
Speaker A:These people have your money.
Speaker A:Now we didn't have his money.
Speaker A:We quite the opposite.
Speaker A:But the debt collector, the, the mafia, the local gang came around.
Speaker A:This man knocked at the door when Ashley was at work and I was at home on my own and I had my newborn baby and a one and a two year old at home.
Speaker A:Hannah was about three weeks old.
Speaker A:We had three under three, right?
Speaker A:But in that moment I'd been praising and worshiping.
Speaker A:And as I opened the door, the peace of God flooded through my body like just a jolt of power.
Speaker A:And this man was literally trying to break the door down, break into our house.
Speaker A:He was spewing all kinds of evil over me, telling me what he was going to do to, to me and the kids and burn down the house and this, that and the other if we didn't, if we didn't give him his money being super threatening.
Speaker A:But the peace of God filled me and in that moment I shot back at him with the word of God.
Speaker A:I said, who do you think you are?
Speaker A:You are A liar.
Speaker A:You are a deceiver.
Speaker A:Who do you think you are, coming to my house?
Speaker A:I'm a child of the most high God.
Speaker A:And as I started to speak out over him, it was almost like.
Speaker A:And I never touched him.
Speaker A:He was much bigger than me, but it's almost like he got completely disarmed in that moment.
Speaker A:And with every word that came out of my mouth, it was like I threw a punch and landed it on him.
Speaker A:He stumbled.
Speaker A:He never took his eyes off me, but he stumbled backwards down the driveway until he took off running down the street and street scared, like he'd seen something standing behind me that no one in the natural could see.
Speaker A:You see, the enemy cannot touch a peaceful believer.
Speaker A:This is why it's so important to understand that we have peace as our covenant right.
Speaker A:It belongs to us.
Speaker A:And when we have peace, there is a protective power that surrounds us that the enemy cannot touch.
Speaker A:It gives you rest for your physical body, rest for your soul, and a protection, protection for you that the enemy cannot penetrate.
Speaker A:Now that is a blessing of the atonement of Jesus that you do not want to pass up, you know, with, with by his death and resurrection on the cross, he paid for your salvation, he paid for your healing, he paid for your forgiveness, he paid for your for your peace.
Speaker A:All in the same package.
Speaker A:They're all there together.
Speaker A:Let's pray.
Speaker A:Father God, I just thank you that your peace is ruling in my heart.
Speaker A:Lord, I thank you that the Prince of Peace indwell me.
Speaker A:And right now we just say let peace reign.
Speaker A:Let peace reign in our heart.
Speaker A:Let peace reign in our body.
Speaker A:Let peace reign in our mind.
Speaker A:And right now, in the name of Jesus, we come against any ungodly thoughts, any ungodly addictions, passions, desires that have been plaguing us, repeating themselves in our minds.
Speaker A:We break those, those patterns of unbelief.
Speaker A:And we speak over our heart to release our spirit, to release into our mind, into our thinking, the thoughts of peace, the thoughts of love that belong to us in Christ.
Speaker A:I thank you Lord, that your peace surrounds us, that it protects us and that it gives us rest in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord.
Speaker A:Man, that is powerful.
Speaker A:We are not done with this teaching.
Speaker A:There is more that we will carry on in the weeks for following, but I didn't want you to miss that.
Speaker A:Please, if you, if you missed the first part of this teaching last week, you need to go back and get it.
Speaker A:And you know, sometimes we do not realize how much our physical body is just affected because our heart has, has moved from a Place of peace.
Speaker A:Our soul has gone itself, wrapped up in everything it doesn't need to.
Speaker A:And our heart's conflicted, but rest and peace come from.
Speaker A:From the finished work of the cross.
Speaker A:Jesus finished it.
Speaker A:Don't be drawn into a battle that is already won into to find an enemy that has already been defeated.
Speaker A:Jesus fought the enemy and won so that you can live and rest in his finished work.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Not to be confused with not going to work.
Speaker A:There is work, there is job to do, there's toil on this earth.
Speaker A:You know, the real labor, as it says in Hebrews, we didn't get into this today, but in Hebrews chapter four, it says, we labor to enter the rest.
Speaker A:The real fight is the fight that we have, the fight in our mind to stay in that place of peace.
Speaker A:But right now, I want to pray for you.
Speaker A:I know that there are many people on here.
Speaker A:That's right, people saying, it is finished test.
Speaker A:I receive that peace with faith.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:You know, Amy, that's a great question.
Speaker A:I'd love to answer that for you.
Speaker A:So just bring that back up again for me.
Speaker A:Ali, maybe you could put that in my note.
Speaker A:I'd love to answer that in a moment.
Speaker A:But right now I want to pray for people because I know that there is.
Speaker A:There is healing power available for you today.
Speaker A:You know, the Lord provided a full package for you, a full package, and that includes for you to be well.
Speaker A:So if you've got prayer requests, go ahead and just post those in the comments.
Speaker A:I'm going to get to as many as I can.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:I thank you that your power is with us.
Speaker A:It's in us.
Speaker A:It's flowing through us right now.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:We take authority over every lie of the enemy, over all sickness, over all disease.
Speaker A:We command that mold poisoning to be stripped from your body.
Speaker A:We command those nerves to come back into life in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Those lungs to settle down.
Speaker A:That irritation to leave you.
Speaker A:Beverly, right now.
Speaker A:We command that irritation to leave you in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that your power is flowing through us, touching every single part of us.
Speaker A:We command the heart, even, yes, even emotional healing, heart healing, physical healing to be normal.
Speaker A:We command the very organ of the heart to function as it was created.
Speaker A:To be.
Speaker A:The pressures to be normal.
Speaker A:The blood vessels to open up, the heart to pump in a regular rhythm.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Prolactinoma.
Speaker A:Right now.
Speaker A:We curse you.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Speech delay, be gone.
Speaker A:Speech be loosed.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Lungs open up right now.
Speaker A:There are people that have really chronic fatigue.
Speaker A:Lord is giving you energy and strength and wholeness right now.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:George, we command CMT to leave you.
Speaker A:We command muscles to function as they should, with strength, with coordination, with every nerve talking to Every muscle talking to the brain as it should, with full coordination.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command that immune system come on up to full capacity.
Speaker A:Those nodules in the thyroid to dissolve.
Speaker A:Leave.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:That gastric system to function at full capacity.
Speaker A:We command.
Speaker A:You know that somebody's dealing with candida in their intestinal tract right now.
Speaker A:We curse that candida in Jesus name.
Speaker A:And C. Diff.
Speaker A:Somebody has C. Difficile right now.
Speaker A:We command that to leave your body.
Speaker A:We cleanse your body in Jesus name of that condition.
Speaker A:We command those intestines to digest.
Speaker A:Somebody has killed off.
Speaker A:I don't know how this has happened.
Speaker A:All of the good bacteria in your intestinal system.
Speaker A:Right now.
Speaker A:We command healthy bacteria to populate and the bad bacteria to die.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, I thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:For leaky gut to be healed, for inflammation in the gut to leave, for irritable bowel syndrome to stop.
Speaker A:Thank you for regular, healthy movements of the intestine in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:You know, there are people that need Job favour.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord.
Speaker A:That you run before us, that you find doors of opportunity and you swing them wide open for us.
Speaker A:And I speak employment to you in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Susan, Right now, I command those ears to open up that hearing to return to you.
Speaker A:That hearing to be switched back on in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:There are people that are struggling to regulate their emotions.
Speaker A:I speak the peace of God over you in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:The peace of God over you in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Yes, there's many people with stomachs that are not functioning as they should right now.
Speaker A:We command that stomach to function, to empty, to fill, to dump as it should in the name of Jesus, digest as it should.
Speaker A:Noah.
Speaker A:Noah.
Speaker A:Right now, we command our heart to beat regularly, regularly, right now.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Celiac disease, leave right now.
Speaker A:Celiac disease, leave right now.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Peace over Anthony's mind and his thinking and his dream life.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Kishin, there, you know, there are people that have heard curses and words that have been spoken over them and they have settled like roots down on the inside.
Speaker A:And those records keep replaying.
Speaker A:And you know, these are very specific records of things.
Speaker A:And you know, even Job says this the thing that I feared most came upon me.
Speaker A:But I want you to know the end of Job's life.
Speaker A:But by the way, none of those problems were caused by the Lord.
Speaker A:And at the end of Job's life, everything was returned to him.
Speaker A:Everything the enemy stole from him came back to him.
Speaker A:And I wanted to declare over you those curses of those words are broken.
Speaker A:They have no effect over you.
Speaker A:You are a child of the most High God.
Speaker A:You are blessed by the God Almighty.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:You belong to Him.
Speaker A:And his power and his protection is the predominant force in your life.
Speaker A:You know, here's the thing with people's words.
Speaker A:They might use, they might not realize that they're cursing you, but their words come out with that effect.
Speaker A:When you believe those words and you put more trust in them than you do in the promise of God, that is the only time that they can have power over you.
Speaker A:When you take a word that you've heard from somewhere else, somebody else, maybe it's a symptom, maybe a body that's speaking the word to you, speaking words to you.
Speaker A:But when you believe more, trust more in those lies in those words of other people than you do in this word from God, this big fat word of God right here, that's the only time that those negative words can have power over you.
Speaker A:You know, sometimes this is really powerful.
Speaker A:This is going to help somebody.
Speaker A:You need to doubt your doubts.
Speaker A:When those thoughts come to you, it could be I'm going to die of cancer.
Speaker A:I doubt that lie.
Speaker A:I doubt those diet those thoughts.
Speaker A:It could be I'm not going to be able to pay my bills, right?
Speaker A:I doubt that lie.
Speaker A:I doubt that belief system in Jesus name.
Speaker A:You know, we need to literally come against it.
Speaker A:When you doubt that you're going to have favor to get a job, you say you need to speak back to you.
Speaker A:Shut up, devil.
Speaker A:I have the favor of God.
Speaker A:It goes before me, surrounds me and overtakes me.
Speaker A:The blessings of God chasing me down.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that the healing power of God is flowing in my body.
Speaker A:We need to start doing this for ourselves, doing this for ourselves, changing and responding to those words, those thoughts that come to us and nipping it in the bud, right?
Speaker A:Literally.
Speaker A:Shut up, devil.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker A:That guy says, shut up, devil.
Speaker A:I've had more than enough.
Speaker A:You know what I say to the end?
Speaker A:You can steal this if you want to.
Speaker A:I say joggone, devil.
Speaker A:It's very English term, joggone.
Speaker A:And it's like, go away, jog on and go bother Someone else.
Speaker A:Because you're not.
Speaker A:You're not have.
Speaker A:You don't have any permission to land here.
Speaker A:It's almost like if I have a symptom that's trying to manifest in my body, I don't give it permission to visit, never mind remain, but leave now.
Speaker A:You don't even have permission.
Speaker A:You're illegal, man.
Speaker A:It starts to get me angry.
Speaker A:You curse it at the root and move on.
Speaker A:Don't give it the time of day.
Speaker A:Don't look at your watch for it, right?
Speaker A:You know, when.
Speaker A:When.
Speaker A:Unbelief.
Speaker A:You know, sometimes.
Speaker A:Where's my cell phone?
Speaker A:Here it is.
Speaker A:These things ring, and every time we jump to it, right?
Speaker A:And we go and we answer it.
Speaker A:The problem is sometimes we need to stop answering.
Speaker A:Stop.
Speaker A:Unbelief calls you in the form of people.
Speaker A:Fear calls you.
Speaker A:Anxiety calls you.
Speaker A:If you read, you know, your caller id, and he says, oh, you know what?
Speaker A:Fear is calling.
Speaker A:Cancer is calling today.
Speaker A:Would you answer the call?
Speaker A:No, you wouldn't.
Speaker A:You'd be like, delete, hang up.
Speaker A:You wouldn't even answer it.
Speaker A:Block that number, right?
Speaker A:Return to sender.
Speaker A:That's what we need to be doing with some of the thoughts, some of the symptoms that are trying to attack our body.
Speaker A:Return to sender.
Speaker A:Delete.
Speaker A:Block that cooler.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, don't even respond to it.
Speaker A:Father God, I thank youk that yout power on the inside of us is greater than any lie.
Speaker A:The enemy.
Speaker A:Right now over Yvonne's body, we speak.
Speaker A:We command that hiatal hernia to be sucked back in.
Speaker A:We command those muscle walls where they've been weak to become strong.
Speaker A:We speak a shattering over those gallstones.
Speaker A:Thanking God.
Speaker A:We can't be thanking God and agreeing with the enemy at the same time.
Speaker A:So if you've got something going on in your body and you don't want to keep addressing it because it's just drawing attention to it, start thanking God.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that that pain is gone.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that my ankle is strong.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that my eyes see, that my ears hear, that my heart beats normally.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that lumps and bumps and cancers are disappearing.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that the enemy has no power over my thought life.
Speaker A:Man, these are great confessions.
Speaker A:Great confessions.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Jolina says, I had a migraine that tried to come upon me, and I said, I have power and authority in the name of Jesus and told it to live.
Speaker A:Leave.
Speaker A:And it took some time, but it left.
Speaker A:You know, sometimes we just got to be more persistent than the enemy more persistent than the enemy.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:He's got no persistence.
Speaker A:He doesn't have any long suffering.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So you just outlast him.
Speaker A:Thank you, Timothy.
Speaker A:Amy's got a question here that I had a prophetic word for her.
Speaker A:Can you offer me some encouragement also, if I don't know what that prophetic word was, I'm sorry, but.
Speaker A:But he says also if I.
Speaker A:Where's it gone if I take some.
Speaker A:Oh, it's gone off the screen.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:As I'm trying to read, it disappeared.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:I think it was about taking some homeopathic remedy.
Speaker A:Is that right?
Speaker A:Taking about taking some.
Speaker A:She was it.
Speaker A:Should you take some homeopathic remedy?
Speaker A:Was that what.
Speaker A:What it was?
Speaker A:You know, homeopathic remedies.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Also, if I want to take a homeopathic remedy, I feel like that's unbelief.
Speaker A:Well, you know, you've got to do what you have peace about.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:And God just wants you to be well, Amy.
Speaker A:He really does.
Speaker A:He just wants you to be well.
Speaker A:And so I think it was the Lord that had healing for me about the time.
Speaker A:Yeah, sometimes we've taken, you know, medications and they've had.
Speaker A:They've had negative effects on us.
Speaker A:At the end of the day, when it comes to taking any kind of medication, whether it's homeopathic or regular medication, you need to be in a place of peace about this.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Because whatever decision you make, God is.
Speaker A:God is waiting to back you up.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He's put his words in your mouth, and he's willing to pack up any words of faith that you speak out.
Speaker A:So you put faith in receiving in a particular way.
Speaker A:And guess what?
Speaker A:You can.
Speaker A:You're going to receive in that particular way because that's what you give God to work with.
Speaker A:Susan says, I thank God my eyes are healed in Jesus name and in one of the power hours, man, that's awesome.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:So when it comes to medicine, or it could be surgery or whatever is.
Speaker A:Here's the trick of the enemy.
Speaker A:He gave you the sickness in the first place.
Speaker A:He was the author of that.
Speaker A:Then he'll make you think like it's your fault that you have it.
Speaker A:When he knows he was the author of that, and then, you know, you stand in faith, and then, you know, you're struggling with some things, and he'll make you feel condemned about that.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:When he was already the author of the problem.
Speaker A:And then you think, well, maybe I should go to the doctors.
Speaker A:Or get some help with this.
Speaker A:But then he'll make you feel condemned about that, right?
Speaker A:Because he's the author of condemnation.
Speaker A:That's all he has to offer you.
Speaker A:But the Lord doesn't condemn you.
Speaker A:He just wants you well.
Speaker A:And he has so many ways for you to receive healing.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter which way you take, he just wants you well.
Speaker A:Jesus didn't use the same method every time.
Speaker A:It's whichever way he's given doctors brilliant minds and, and discoveries to, to have medical breakthrough.
Speaker A:If those things weren't initiated by God to help people because he just wants you well, then we wouldn't just say, I thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:This is what I.
Speaker A:You know, I had to do this over a daughter.
Speaker A:One time we had, she cut her head open.
Speaker A:The dog, stupid dog tripped her over.
Speaker A:She had a big gash in the back of her head.
Speaker A:And you know, we had that glue, you know, the skin glue, but it really stings.
Speaker A:And so I, I was, I was trying to glue her head, her little head back together.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:Sounded like a terrible parent here.
Speaker A:Don't call child protective services.
Speaker A:She's in the grown adult, she's totally fine.
Speaker A:But I had to glue her head back together.
Speaker A:And so this little bottle with the dropper of the glue, it says on it, you know, the side effect of it that was going to sting, it was going to hurt, it was going to burn.
Speaker A:And it suddenly occurred to me and I was just struggling with putting my hand on this open wound and combining it to close up in Jesus name, you know, it was, it was bleeding, it was, I was being moved at a heart level.
Speaker A:But, you know, as I held the thing in my hand, the bottle in my hand, it suddenly occurred to me that I could have faith to remove the negative symptoms in that bottle.
Speaker A:And I held it in my hand and I said, you will not sting Hannah's skin.
Speaker A:You will not burn, you will not hurt.
Speaker A:She will not even notice.
Speaker A:When I apply this to the back of her head, to that cut, I remove the side effects of this medicine and I put the dropper on her, you know, to seal the, to seal the wound on the back of her head.
Speaker A:And she didn't, she didn't even.
Speaker A:Medical room got nowhere, you know.
Speaker A:And then she realized that she could receive healing from, from touching the hem of Jesus garment.
Speaker A:Jesus didn't spin around.
Speaker A:Tell that lady.
Speaker A:Well, no, you've tried the doctors.
Speaker A:You didn't believe in me then.
Speaker A:I'm not going to stay with you now.
Speaker A:No, it's not either or.
Speaker A:The Lord does not leave you at the hospital door.
Speaker A:He just wants you well.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So we will always pray, always pray.
Speaker A:First time for you to receive physical healing.
Speaker A:And then we see many, many people have their breakthrough right here on Power Hour.
Speaker A:As our community starts to.
Speaker A:To pray, as we, as our community starts to stand in agreement, as we start to take authority together over symptoms that we see.
Speaker A:You know, but.
Speaker A:But sometimes, you know, the Lord might give you an idea, he might give you a direction.
Speaker A:You go with that and you have peace in whatever the Lord is leading you to do.
Speaker A:The main thing is whatever decision you have, you have peace in it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Have peace in it.
Speaker A:So I hope that answers your question, Amy.
Speaker A:Probably that and more.
Speaker A:Some Amen.
Speaker A:But Father God, I thank you for everyone that is watching today.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that everyone is listening.
Speaker A:I take authority over every single lying symptom and I command it to leave our bodies.
Speaker A:I command organs to function as they were created to be.
Speaker A:Ears see.
Speaker A:Eyes Is.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Is see.
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:I've got that completely confused.
Speaker A:There we go now.
Speaker A:Now I'm.
Speaker A:Now I'm messed up.
Speaker A:Ears hear.
Speaker A:I see.
Speaker A:Man, if your ears start seeing, I'm sorry, I'm not responsible for the results.
Speaker A:Father God, I thank you that eyes see and ears hear.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, we command those lungs to open up those airways, to open up that inflammation, to leave those nerves to come back to life.
Speaker A:Those joints move with full mobility.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, I thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:Every organ functioning as it should, every system that you have designed in the body to be at 100% functionality.
Speaker A:Lord, we believe and we receive these things in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:I hope you enjoyed today's episode of Power Hour.
