Finding out your genetic risk of different cancers can be an important part of life-saving early detection and preventative cancer care. But, which genetic screenings should patients look into and how far has this technology come in detecting which people are at higher risk of certain cancers? Kevin Hughes, MD, has been at the forefront of genetic cancer screening since the mid-1990s and shares insights.
