We are living in a society where many men are playing the victim and it is hurting us
Why do men play the victim?

Inward Victim
  • When you act as an inward victim, you don't necessarily act it out but it comes across with your inner voices
  • This type of thinking can become a mindset that keeps you passive as a man
  • Sometimes others may see these types of people as not motivated or lazy, but, the truth is they are inwardly victimizing themselves
  • Many men who live with an inward victim mentality live in a reactionary focus
  • This feels safe to many men and they flow in it naturally, but the problem is they are abdicating their ability to lead

Inward Journey
  • Men can often fall victim to the victim mentality when they haven't gone on the inward journey
  • A self-aware man  goes on the inward journey and figures out his own thoughts and feelings
  • Men who have clarity about their identity don't play the victim
  • When a man needs affirmation, he can be led around and manipulated
  • When a man is secure in himself, he doesn't respond to manipulation

Inward Realities
  • The majority of men who play the victim don't understand their own inward realities
  • As men, we shouldn't expect ourselves to be good at everything or to like everything
  • You really aren't competing with anyone else, you are competing with yourself
  • When guys try to be someone they aren't and fail, they often fall into a victim mentality
  • When a man recognizes his own strengths and weaknesses, he is a much wiser and more powerful man
