His father's military career took the family through numerous relocations inside and outside the continental US. Before enrolling at Columbia University for graduate studies, Jim Mori took a volunteer services job at a minimum-security prison, an eye-opening experience. Jim has invested 50 years in the banking sector here and has first-hand knowledge of the financial landscape in Japan during the bubble and all the way to the Lehman shock. Astutely claiming that the country's markets, industries, and even its people undergo dramatic changes every ten years, Jim believes that the key is to be here long enough to experience the evolution and hopefully reap the benefits.
