[00:00:27] Third eye serves multiple verticals and multiple geos. And so my, my mission is to sort of take you on a journey across the world, um, looking for real, really interesting, innovative, uh, technologies, ideas, and executives. And to really unpack what we're gonna do, let me bring on the two founders of Third Eye Advisory Current, uh, na.
[:[00:01:06] Karan Currie: Sure. Uh, uh, uh, lemme tell if you don't mind, go first. . Um, Alright, so, so, uh, the vision here, uh, Jeff really was, uh, you know, we now myself used to work together and, uh, we were, you know, we, we were chatting one day at, at the Nasscom in, in India and we, you know, we were, we were talking about some of the, some of the top analysts that we had worked with and we just wondering what, what they were doing nowadays.
[:[00:01:49] Uh, and that's how Third Eye Advisory was born. Uh, the idea, the vision for Toyota Advisory, which is really to help enterprises, you know, uh, get a clarity on what's going on in the market. Um, [00:02:00] we, we find that there's so much, there's so much, um, information out there today and there's so much vendor comparison.
[:[00:02:25] You know, we don't need a vendor comparison. We'd compare all of the other, uh, you know, when competitors and give and give them a clarity on what's going on. Um, I'm gonna pause that, hand it over to Amita because it, it doesn't, Stop with the experts. We have a lot, you know, it's, it's a lot larger than that, I think.
[:[00:02:42] Jeff Roster: Yeah.
[:[00:03:05] Um, orchestrate, uh, those channels to provide, uh, uh, you know, thought leadership and decision making advice to, uh, executives, um, and help them, uh, you know, really navigate through the next, uh, phase of growth, uh, which we believe is, um, uh, going to be heavily, uh, embedded as an augmented enterprise. And, um, uh, which means they need to have a clarity of what this future of corporation looks like.
[:[00:03:50] Jeff Roster: Yeah, I really like that, uh, idea of augmented enterprise.
[:[00:04:14] And it's just, it's, it's a perfectly, the metaverse technologies like I augment reality and whatnot are, are, are clearly being adopted, but that idea, that weight around that word just. It seems like when I talk to people, they just, they, they sort of push back. So I, I love, love the fact that we're going with the term augmented enterprise.
[:[00:04:50] Karan Currie: It's, it's, it's much larger than that. It's really where our experts are, are placed and, and where, where our experts, uh, run the coverage for, for our experts. I mean, we've got, we've got, uh, we've got close [00:05:00] to 15 experts right now around the world. And we, you know, right from Boston, New York to Auckland, uh, you know, where, where TJ Sing.
[:[00:05:38] Uh, but yeah, these broadly, these are, these are the verticals and the geos that, that we cover. .
[:[00:06:08] Karan Currie: Well, Currently we, we, uh, currently we, we serve three sectors, uh, of, of clients. So one, one is the end user organization, the IT leader, uh, enterprise leaders. The second one is the, uh, service providers, technology service providers. And the third one is the, the startup world, the m and a world, uh, which, you know, like the investors and.
[:[00:07:03] What's the next step, um, for service providers? Um, you know, again, for, for service providers, it's more of a, you know, what, what, what the market is at the moment. You know, how, how do you position yourself, uh, advisory. So, Service providers work with us, uh, a lot on the advisory side. Uh, and I think one of the biggest things that we're seeing right now in the market is, um, and, and we're helping our clients work, is how do you really create that service differentiation, uh, to take to market?
[:[00:07:57] And, and, and, uh, you know, we, we [00:08:00] work with, uh, with smaller, I mean, In retail, you've got, you know, you've got you working with so many innovative companies, and so we have access to this, uh, to the spool of innovative companies that we can, uh, that we can help the service providers as to add to their portfolio.
[:[00:08:28] Jeff Roster: Fantastic. And then how would, um, if somebody was more interested in, in learning about what we're up to, how, what should they do, who should they talk to?
[:[00:09:01] You know, our experts love speaking to, uh, clients.
[:[00:09:11] Karan Currie: Yeah. It's also a key difference. Yes. Sorry, sorry, go ahead.
[:[00:09:27] Uh, to these corporations and, uh, you know, um, you know, have a strategic view into their operations. Yeah.
[:[00:09:47] Namita: credibility that you've built over the years, Jeff, because.
[:[00:10:07] Jeff Roster: Yeah. It's, I guess as the, uh, as the, the expert and, and I, I, I brussel on that a little bit cuz it's, it sounds a pretty like a hottie ti title, but you know, it is what it is.
[:[00:10:42] And so my research is gonna be very much, um, Augmented to use our, our term, uh, my research would be augmented by, by that ongoing experience. And it was different from, um, you know, the last two places I worked at where, where one was a boutique, um, deeply focused [00:11:00] on retail, um, and worldwide retail, but, but not the other industries.
[:[00:11:22] And I think that's important for the, the, the potential clients to understand is that you can really spin the world pretty darn quickly. And I think what's interesting to me the most about setting up this podcast is the idea of getting. Some of this content, um, that I'm hearing on a weekly basis talk, you know, as we just talk, thinking, why, why are we not turning a microphone on and of camera on, um, and just recording some of that because it's, it's actually quite, um, insightful as people just start saying, Hey, here's what's happening in the UK right now.
[:[00:12:12] And it's definitely, I expect to. Have it have a far-reaching impact where I'm already seeing things bubble around in other industries that I think are gonna come my way and vice versa. Stuff that that's happening in retail we can clearly see is gonna push into other industries. So I, I think it's gonna create some really interesting research.
[:[00:12:33] Karan Currie: You know, just, just to add to that, you know, we, we, we were talking to, uh, some, some, uh, some of our, uh, potential clients, uh, the other day and they said, you know, it's such a complex scenario at the moment with inflation recession and the supply chain, uh, problems.
[:[00:13:02] Jeff Roster: Three and a couple of gas crises too.
[:[00:13:37] And I think the thing that's most, that I'm the most excited about is, is building out this video aspect of, of, of what probably is most likely gonna be an audio first podcast. And that's gonna allow us to share data. So not like a webinar that's sort of stale, um, or, or an hour long, but. We we're sitting on a ton of, of survey data that we're writing up.
[:[00:14:20] This means this to me, and that means that to me. I, it's, I've never seen that done before and I'm really excited about it. Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. Fantastic. Well, we'll have, we'll have all our content, um, all our, uh, connection information in the show notes, and we look forward to having, uh, many ongoing conversations.
