Lucky for those who hit the jackpot the first time they try. But that seems to be daunting for those of us who have to go through all the struggles and hardships just to make things work out.
Maybe you're at a crossroads in your life right now, confused as to which path gives you the fulfillment and, more so, the alignment that you want to happen.
You might be considering options that promise a better future, but they seem to be unfamiliar territory; you're just too scared to fail. Or you're just not willing to leave behind what has been going steady for so long and the security that goes with it.
You have the choice of getting stuck in the circumstances you have now or getting a go now at what could be an enormous opportunity ahead.
Ulrike Bondoc, also known as Nikki B, is a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Nursing but never practiced her profession. For 8 years, she worked in the IT-BPO industry and as an ESL tutor to Japanese students. In 2018, she took the leap of faith and entered the freelancing industry. Now, she is an Amazon virtual assistant, a copywriter, and a Youtube content creator who started her channel, Nikki B Vlogs, in January 2020 not only to document her journey but also to inspire people that it's never too late to start something new, to take action despite fear, to leave behind everything you've built to pursue a totally different path that lights your soul on fire.
In this episode, Ulrike shares how you can find success apart from what you initially pursued at the start. It's when you learn to leave the familiar and stretch out yourself to face something new and challenging; that's when real growth happens.
For her, it was never easy, but she believes that when you invest in yourself and become a massive action-taker, you prepare yourself for the inevitable success ahead.
She shares the many rejections before finally gaining what she deserves the most. And there's so much takeaway from this. Success is never far behind when you keep at it, consistently working to make yourself better, and you use failures as motivation to improve and develop yourself.
Turn rejections into opportunities for growth. And if you think you're too late to make it big, think again and listen to what she shares in this episode, as Ulrike proves it otherwise.

Key Takeaways:
"You can ever tell; not because you're not practicing your profession now, it doesn't mean it's a lost cause. Eventually, something will come along your way." - Nikki B
"Know your options and know the consequences and your worst-case scenario. There's no perfect option. Just ask yourself, am I okay with it?" - Nikki B
"Whenever I keep having those thoughts of deactivating my YouTube channel and Facebook account. I would check messages and find out people sharing how it helped them create a cover letter. I thought I would be robbing these people of the opportunity just because some people dislike my content. I'm not making this for them. I'm making this for people that I can inspire and hopefully motivate to take action." - Nikki B
"For those who might think it's too late for them, here's what I have to say – the number of years of experience is irrelevant about what you can possibly earn once you find your alignment." - Nikki B
"It doesn't matter if you start from zero now that you're 30 or 40. If that clicks, if you find alignment within three years, within five years, you're going to get more than you could probably get from sticking to your current situation, just because you're just too afraid of losing that little stability or steady paycheck now." - Nikki B
"Don't be that person who's gonna stop you from achieving things; don't be that person who's gonna get in the way of you reaching your potential just because you're too scared." - Nikki B
"Be a massive action taker but also have that qualitative part. They have to go hand in hand." - Nikki B
"I wouldn't want to recommend anything just for the sake of recommending because you get paid. I have to make sure that it's legit and it works since I have a responsibility towards my subscribers." - Nikki B
"The only way I can get more is if they win first." - Nikki B
"You can never choose the cards you're dealt with, but you can choose how to play the game, so it's either you suck on it, move forward, and find a way to better your life or make your circumstances as limitations and end up helpless." - Nikki B
