The past few lessons our studies have focused on the story of Jesus healing the lame man on the Sabbath, breaking the man-made laws of the Mishnah. In today’s passage, Jesus declares that God is always working and He Himself is God. God never ceases to work – He is constantly sustaining all of Creation. And so, if God doesn’t cease to work, then we can expect the same from Jesus, as He is indeed God.
