Should you start a Patreon for your podcast?

Yes and No. Go for it if you have something valuable to offer, like exclusive bonuses, additional audio content, discounts on your services, etc. No, if your only aim is to make money. Podcasts are meant to be "free." So only go down the Patreon path if you have a unique proposition that is super enticing for a hungry audience.

In today's episode, host Hector Santiesteban talks to Matt Gilhooly from The Lifeshift Podcast - which highlights life-altering moments and humanizes the struggles and triumphs through them all. Matt shares how being part of a community has helped him grow his podcast. He also reveals his experience with Patreon and the dos and don'ts of starting a Patreon for your podcast.
