Summary:

When God saves us, we have the promise that He brings in our families with us. This is a covenant from the Lord that we can believe and stand on. We can trust what He is doing—how He leads you as well as the things that happen to you and around you. He is creating the perfect family to be what He called us to be.

Show Notes:

  • We have a cry in our hearts for the members of our family, believing that the Lord will do whatever He sees is necessary to minister to each one.

  • Another name for the Kingdom is the Father's family. He is connecting us together to be His family.

  • Our connections are based on our relationship with the Father first.

  • As the Father creates His love in us, we are equipped to minister to the members of the family.

  • We have been given His life, and we will begin to see that He is pulling the family even closer together.

Quotations:

  • We're a family built on coming together as Christ in the earth, as His sons.

  • The life we're living is a spiritual life first, and then everything else follows.

  • We're walking out the footsteps ordered by God, walked out by His Son, that we might walk in those same footsteps.

  • If somebody is critical of you, open your heart and listen to what they say. Because what you just did is you turned around and set them up that God can help them.

  • He will do it through a many membered body.

References:

Acts 16:31

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.”

Romans 8:14-15

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

Romans 12:4-5

For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Takeaway:

God is in the process of creating His family. He helps us grow by being a part of every aspect of our lives. When He saves us, then we begin to cry to Him for all those we love. He has given us the promise that He will include our heritage, our household. We need to trust Him that He knows best how to pull us all together into His perfect family.

Our families are saved. They're brought into a promise from God that when God saves us, He also brings our heritage in with us.

You go back to the covenant that He's made with us, that you and your household, and you stand on the word of God. It's not about what they went through. It's not about what they believe. It's not about even me or my faith. It's about His Word, and His Word's true.

I know that each one of us have a cry in our heart for our heritage, and we're believing for them, praying for them, holding them before the Lord, saying, Lord, whatever is necessary, whatever You have for them, please do it.

I say, Lord, here we are. And our love for each other and one another concern as a family, brothers, sisters, whatever may be. Father we know that you are our great God. You know, the tears of our hearts , and you don't forget our tears. So father, we thank you.

We've called it the kingdom. We're like the family of God. It's about the family. And as a family, He's the one that connects us all. He's the one that makes things happen for all of us. But we're in this together. We're not separate. We are connected. That's one of the most beautiful parts of knowing the Lord together, is knowing how much He loves each one of us. And out of that love that He has for each one of us, and our love for Him, we love each other as well with His love.

When the Lord puts somebody on a heart in the family. Our spirits just go there, and minister, and we minister life to each other, because that is what the Lord has in us. He has this tremendous life. He came to give us life, and we have that life, and we're ministering that life. I think He's pulling the family even closer together.

I've always been troubled when we separate His kingdom from the family. God is leading us to become the King's family. We're coming into the kingdom family of God. He's becoming King. We're a family built on coming together as Christ in the earth, as His sons.

He's our Father. He does all things well. He does things that are good. He is good. His purposes for us are good. All these things we've talked about this morning is in regards to our children. The Lord's covenant, He spoke it and it's true. I just simply need to stand on it and believe it.

All things do work together for good to those who love Him, who are walking with Him. The life that we're living is a spiritual life first, and then everything else follows. But it all relates back to the Spirit. It's about having that right spirit, about walking with God in a right spirit. And when we do that, all of these things are like, doesn't matter, I'm trusting God with my life. And there's a peace, there's that joy, there's that love that I feel that's so close to me.

That's where my trust is. Your trust is in God. You're trusting what He's doing. You're trusting how He's leading you. You're trusting the things that happen to you. God's in it. He's right there with you. I tell you, there is something I think that God is really speaking to us about how effective the family, the body of Christ, really is.

We're walking out the footsteps ordered by God, walked out by His Son, that we might walk in those same footsteps. And along the way, we do not disconnect with our children. We do not disconnect from one another. The connection is based upon Him as our Father. Based upon our adoption, I read through Romans 8, 10, 11, where God's bringing back those who were His original crew, and we're getting grafted into the original crew, Abba Father.

Each one of us are a part of the organism that makes up the body of Christ. In other words, there are no unimportant parts. Every part is just as important as the next part. This is the picture that God has created that He's bringing forth in the earth to complete the whole thing of family in the earth, his family.

I want to talk a little bit, just a short bit about what you guys were just talking about because it answers a question to me of why I feel hurt when someone is critical. about somebody else. You're snipping away at the root system of the body of Christ. And we've talked about this forever. There's so many different manifestations of the body of Christ.

It's not just our circles that we run in. And so when people talk negatively about them, it hurts me inside. And I couldn't understand why. It's because they're part, they may be a completely different aspect, but they're part of the body of Christ. And so you're hurting,

You're hurting Christ when you're critical or judgmental about any part of His body because it's a living organism.

God is the one that does the pruning. God knows what the heck He's doing. So therefore, how can I stand with faith for others to believe that God is doing what He wants to do and to bring it forth if I'm so damn critical? You can't do, you can't do both the same time.

God said, what is that to you? Follow thou Me. Keep your nose out of God's business otherwise, and just follow the Lord.

He asked him to be in His business with faith and love, and kindness, and a violent intensity to see the word of God come forth in His fullness for in Christ Jesus.

If somebody is critical of you , open your heart, and listen to what they say . Because what you just did is you turned around , and set them up that God can help them.

That gives a greater expanse in our relationships. It may hurt a little bit that somebody is critical of you or of somebody else, but let the love of God cover that. We've got to totally commit everything to Him.

God is making, and creating a perfect family before Him that will stand with Him, and be what He's called them to be . He will do it through a many membered body.
