Laura Roehrick is a registered nurse as well as a Certified Foot Care Nurse working for the prevention of amputation in people with diabetes. She is a renowned national speaker and an international pioneer and leader on the role of the registered nurse in foot and nail care. Since 2006, she has engaged in numerous training and teachings with nurses and lay people internationally as well as presenting at foot conferences in Canada, England, Africa, Malaysia. She is currently working on a project in Nepal. In 2008, she was recognized for her volunteer work in Tanzania and was presented with the Red Cross Local Hero Award.
