Desert Sun reporter Jonathan Horwitz returns to the John McMullen Show and fills us in on the happenings at the Cathedral City City Council meeting on September 29th which included one Councilmember offering an apology for any embarrassment caused by a complaint with the Fair Political Practices Commission over incorrect information on a standard candidate filing, the city spending $175,000 on a single police officer to be shared by two high schools, and the decision to rescind proof of vaccination requirements for dining-in at restaurants in the city. Pressure to end the restriction and mask wearing rules were pushed by the two members of the Council who should have recused themselves since they are restaurant owners.
