I am welcoming our very first male guest onto the show, my husband Joshua Holmes. We cozied up in our closet to chat about our three year fertility journey that led us to our first son, Beckam Rush Holmes. In our conversation we dive into our experience with recurrent miscarriage loss, what led us to the decision to move forward with IVF, our feelings of holding our miracle baby for the first time and what it's like from both a male and a female perspective, going through this.
While it was extremely hard to go back to such a dark place in our lives, we hope that our candid conversation and ability to talk through our thoughts and feelings, encourages you to be there for someone that may be struggling. If you're in a season of waiting, we extend our thoughts and prayers to you, we hope that you find comfort in knowing that we've walked the same path that you're walking. We hope that we can be a light for you in a dark time.
This is part one of a two part series. Next week we dive into our journey after our first miracle babe. What it's like being pregnant a second time, what we learned from both experiences and advice if you're in the middle of the storm.
