Transcripts

Speaker:

Welcome to the I Can.

2

:

He Can podcast the podcast

for literally anyone.

3

:

However, if you are a woman, you're

probably the person listening on the

4

:

other side of that speaker right now.

5

:

I'm your host Sarai, And you'll

pretty much get to know everything

6

:

about me, including the things that

make me say I can't, but also the

7

:

things that remind me that he can.

8

:

So without further ado, let's

jump into today's episode.

9

:

I.

10

:

All right, everyone, welcome back

to I Can't, he Can Happy Monday.

11

:

I hope you have a blessed week.

12

:

And let me just say this is

my second time recording this.

13

:

I'm telling you the enemy is out.

14

:

He does not want this message and these

testimonies to be out there for anyone

15

:

to listen and to enjoy and to take in.

16

:

So I really, really hope that you guys

take something from this because clearly

17

:

this message is not wanted out there.

18

:

But anyway, that's besides the point I.

19

:

Also had no choice but to make this

episode, part one and part two.

20

:

There's just so much to unpack and so

many details that it's quite impossible

21

:

to just sit down and in one episode put

it all together, have it make sense.

22

:

So I really wanted to plan every single

word, and I can't, I can't do that.

23

:

And I feel that I owe it to these ladies

that shared their stories with me to keep

24

:

it as precise as and exact as possible.

25

:

But the truth is that.

26

:

Things can't be a hundred percent

perfect, so all I can do is with as much

27

:

care as possible, share the stories and

experiences that they entrusted to me

28

:

and I will do my best to do them justice.

29

:

Now, if for one second.

30

:

You asked yourself, okay, what's the point

of sharing random stories on a podcast?

31

:

Well, let me tell you, it's not random.

32

:

Nothing in life is random.

33

:

And as I mentioned in my previous

episode, God knows our plan,

34

:

our story before we knew him.

35

:

So these stories should

not be taken lightly and.

36

:

As I had to record this twice.

37

:

Now I know for sure that this should

not be taken lightly because these

38

:

are stories of people just like you

and me, who at some point may have not

39

:

surrendered their life to God, may have

lost their way, had doubts, you know,

40

:

just a person faced a lot of trials and

they may not have had the strong faith

41

:

that they needed to have in that moment.

42

:

So these stories made their way

to me, and they are not random.

43

:

And it's also important to note, It's

not random that you are listening.

44

:

If you're here the same way God entrusted

me with this podcast to do something

45

:

in his name, you are listening to

these words for a reason, so I hope.

46

:

That it opens your eyes and your heart

to the fact that no matter what walks of

47

:

life we're from, we all belong to the Lord

one way or another, whether you aren't

48

:

were or are, he has called us, rescue

us, and redeemed us time and time again,

49

:

I hope these testimonies reminds you of

that and that you never surrender hope.

50

:

So the first person whose story I'm

going to share, I think it's probably

51

:

the only person whose name I will say,

her name is NI call her Nash for short.

52

:

Well, everyone calls her Nash for short,

but she's one of my old coworkers.

53

:

She's.

54

:

Super, super sweet, well spoken.

55

:

She has honestly a different air

about her, and she was from that

56

:

place that I spoke to, you guys about

in my Karma episode that I said was

57

:

literally suck this soul out of me.

58

:

but like I said, there's a different

air about her and I, I knew just

59

:

a few times from speaking to her

that she was a woman of faith.

60

:

The funny thing is that when her and I

worked together, I believed in God yes.

61

:

But I was not following Jesus yet.

62

:

And even so, I knew she was different.

63

:

And now about a year and a half

later, we still stay in touch.

64

:

Sometimes it's, you know, because

we talk politics or day-to-day news.

65

:

But most recently it's been our faith and

love of God that has kept us in touch.

66

:

So I'm so grateful, to

Nash because of that.

67

:

And so I'll start by saying that Nash

is an extremely accomplished person.

68

:

She's quite honestly a person that

has checked off all the boxes that

69

:

some of us dream to check off.

70

:

And let's start with one of the places

where God, I would say humbled her.

71

:

Okay.

72

:

So after graduating in 2021, she

worked for a medical equipment company.

73

:

It was small family owned.

74

:

The pay wasn't really what she

wanted, but it was, it was a good job.

75

:

she was on a 10 99 and even though she

didn't have the benefits that she wanted,

76

:

She liked her job, she stuck with it,

but after time she became frustrated

77

:

and she began looking for work that

was more directed in the field and the

78

:

degree that she had, she's also married.

79

:

Her husband has always been, just

like her family, a good support

80

:

system and he actually gave her

the idea of leaving that job.

81

:

But, you know, Nash being how she is,

very decisive, a very reliable person.

82

:

She decided to to stick around.

83

:

she was complacent at

the time and she stayed.

84

:

And of course there is always a moment

when we don't listen to the voice of God

85

:

and somehow he has to get our attention.

86

:

Now remember, I think personally

in this instant, her husband was.

87

:

The voice of God because God

can come to us in a dream.

88

:

We can just hear a song, hear

something, or a random person may show

89

:

up and like tell us something and it

may be what we need to hear in the

90

:

moment to get us to our next place.

91

:

So in this instance, I think it

was her husband, but God was trying

92

:

to get her attention and so on a

particular day, something would happen

93

:

that would change the trajectory

of her life quite literally.

94

:

She was the person that was in

charge of opening this company.

95

:

She left her keys and her boss

said, no problem, I will go open up.

96

:

So, a few minutes later he showed

up and as I entered the business

97

:

he asks What happened to your key?

98

:

She says that she simply

left it in her other purse.

99

:

And Ashley, says that as she is

walking towards to turn on the lights.

100

:

Her boss turns around and says,

101

:

when you talk to me, you look at my

face, and there's always a time where

102

:

everything that you are building up

and keeping inside just becomes undone.

103

:

even though it seems silly right now.

104

:

but after being complacent for

so long and just waiting for the

105

:

right time, she had enough, she

felt disrespected, he was rude, and

106

:

honestly it just, it was not right.

107

:

So.

108

:

You can already see where this is going.

109

:

That one moment, it flipped a switch in

her mind and She took the leap of faith.

110

:

She went back to what she always did,

and she had faith and trusted in God,

111

:

and she planned to leave this job.

112

:

Now let's circle back and

remind you that her husband has

113

:

always been very supportive.

114

:

So after having a conversation

with him about the situation,

115

:

they decided together.

116

:

As a husband and wife should do,

that she would have 30 days to find

117

:

a new job, so she left this medical

equipment place and she dedicated

118

:

those 30 days to looking for a job.

119

:

Now, she couldn't find anything.

120

:

It was really, really tough

the first few weeks Her husband

121

:

was working 12 plus hours.

122

:

And she honestly felt that the

strength and the energy that he

123

:

had was being renewed by God.

124

:

She couldn't even believe that it was

possible for him to do that because he

125

:

had never done something like that before.

126

:

But.

127

:

Thankfully, by the grace of

God, they got through it.

128

:

And fast forwarding to the last week

of the 30 days, Nashville didn't find

129

:

anything and she decided to apply to one

more place where it wasn't necessarily

130

:

geared towards her degree, but it

would give her some good experience

131

:

in another type of office setting.

132

:

So she applied, she interviewed,

and she was offered the job when

133

:

they asked for her start date.

134

:

They said May 25th.

135

:

That was exactly day 30 you guys, day 30.

136

:

Not only was that surreal but God came

through, not just in the 30th day after

137

:

she trusted the process, but she also

got all the perks and all the benefits

138

:

and the pay that she was looking for.

139

:

Now, even though she agrees that

this job was not perfect, because you

140

:

guys know, you guys know what, what

I was talking about my other episode.

141

:

But even though she knew that this job

was not perfect, she worked her butt off.

142

:

She met new people, she learned

new things, and it is really what I

143

:

call her next blessing in disguise.

144

:

Continuing on to about a year, she was

promoted to the office and HR manager.

145

:

Now I.

146

:

The person that she

inherited this rule from.

147

:

I had a conversation with her

perhaps a few weeks before that

148

:

and had suggested, Hey, why don't

you go to John Hopkins University?

149

:

Little did this person know that she had

actually wanted to go back to continuing

150

:

her studies, so she researched the school.

151

:

She fell in love with it.

152

:

She liked everything that they had

to offer, and she applied, and of

153

:

course, because she has the chops,

my friends, she got accepted.

154

:

This is, if you know, this is one of the

top 10 universities in the us she started

155

:

in January of 2025, and it was just one

more thing that she can add to her resume.

156

:

So because the business was closing, she

was starting to apply for other positions,

157

:

to have already a plan going for her,

but she wasn't necessarily hopeful that

158

:

she was going to get something because

she had been applying for jobs in her

159

:

field already for years, and it was.

160

:

Crickets, nothing.

161

:

So in July, fast forwarding again, while

she's in her new role of office manager

162

:

and HR manager, she receives an email to

a job that she had applied to in April.

163

:

That was about three months

prior, and this was a job that

164

:

was geared towards her field.

165

:

It's something that she truly wanted.

166

:

And yes, you guys, I'm not saying

what her field is yet So anyway,

167

:

This job checked off all the boxes.

168

:

It's what she was looking

for for a long, long time,

169

:

So.

170

:

She interviews and while she interviews,

she is told two very important things.

171

:

One of them was that the HR manager

at this place personally selected

172

:

her resume after many failed

interviews already, meaning that

173

:

this job was saved for her by God.

174

:

It has to have been.

175

:

I mean, honestly, I, I really

don't see it another way.

176

:

But the second and most, important

thing is when can you start?

177

:

She got the job, you guys, and now as,

as I'm saying that, I'm, I'm getting

178

:

chills, because it didn't matter.

179

:

Her anxiety, the worry, the

overthinking, the job was there

180

:

and it was waiting for her.

181

:

I hadn't mentioned it before,

but Nash, she's very meticulous.

182

:

She's super detailed.

183

:

if you wanna say OCD, a little OCD,

but she's just that kind of person.

184

:

she's very hard on herself

and she worked very, very hard

185

:

and it truly did pay off, but.

186

:

It's not only because of the

education and you know, while that

187

:

is important, it's not everything.

188

:

she is where she is now because she took

the leap of faith and she entrusted the

189

:

Lord to guide her every step of the way.

190

:

And when she finished her degree and

she was patient and she continued to

191

:

search, she continued to build herself up.

192

:

She is now going to be working alongside

District 36 Senator Ileana Garcia.

193

:

And so my friends, this story is just one

of two things that she shared with me.

194

:

I'm saving the other part of her

testimony for a different episode because

195

:

there's just a lot of other things

to discuss there, and I think that

196

:

people will also really relate to that.

197

:

However, this has to do with.

198

:

Climbing up the ladder and us being

impatient, wanting to go from job to job

199

:

just because we want a little more money.

200

:

And sometimes it's not

just about the money.

201

:

It's about being happy and being content

and allowing God to really, really

202

:

put us in a place that belongs to us.

203

:

And that's exactly what she did.

204

:

It touched my heart, honestly, because

her testimony just showed her unwavering

205

:

faith in God and allowing him.

206

:

To take control of her life.

207

:

She said this and I quote, when

I pray, I told God that every

208

:

decision I make, if it's not for me.

209

:

Don't let me have it.

210

:

God, I only want it if it's from you.

211

:

And I know the Lord takes

my word seriously, said I.

212

:

She said that to me in the

message that she sent when

213

:

she was sharing her testimony.

214

:

And faith like that is rare.

215

:

It's a faith that can

open someone else's eyes.

216

:

It everything she's done in

life, she's left it to God.

217

:

She's left it to him to complete

for her, and I really can't wait

218

:

to see what the Lord is going to

use her for as an extension of him.

219

:

Working, especially in our

judicial system, trying to

220

:

make things better for others.

221

:

It's gonna be great.

222

:

man, I just, I have the chills, I love

doing this, but as we transition to

223

:

the second part of this episode, I

just wanna remind you that you should

224

:

not take these testimonies lightly.

225

:

The testimonies I'm sharing may

resonate with you and remind you of

226

:

something that already happened to you.

227

:

Maybe it'll spark a moment where you

encounter the Holy Spirit and had no idea.

228

:

Uh, maybe that's not the case.

229

:

I don't know.

230

:

But listen closely, because it

does not mean that you won't

231

:

be called by God in the future.

232

:

We are all called at some point,

and it's always for a reason.

233

:

So this brings me to my next person now.

234

:

Before I continue, I will say that I

am keeping their name private, just out

235

:

of respect for her family as a whole,

and this person graciously volunteered

236

:

the testimony to me without me asking.

237

:

I was really shocked, honestly.

238

:

And even though I did ask, on social

media for, whoever saw it and wanted

239

:

to be part of it, to share, I was just

taken back because this is a person that

240

:

made me nervous from the moment I met

her and not 'cause she was mean, not

241

:

'cause of, you know, anything like that.

242

:

She's quite literally the most

humble, sweet, and caring.

243

:

Person I have met, well, one of them,

there's many good people in my life,

244

:

but she is, she's up there and I

feel bad saying it, but She made me

245

:

so nervous because she's one of the

leaders in our church ministries.

246

:

And same with, you know, our pastor.

247

:

I ramble and fumble my words and every

single time like it, it doesn't fail.

248

:

So, It.

249

:

It wasn't until we did the women's

group together that we served together

250

:

for a few months that I really came

to see different layers to her.

251

:

I saw the worshiper, I saw the daughter

of Christ, and I mean a true lover,

252

:

follower, and daughter of Christ, an

amazing mom, a wife, and when I really

253

:

desperately needed it for my own

daughter, I saw the prayer warrior.

254

:

But even, wow.

255

:

But even of God's strongest people,

some of them have their moments

256

:

and some of them may even have

something we would consider weakness.

257

:

So this lovely person has had

a strong Christian background.

258

:

She grew up.

259

:

In Christian schools, I believe around

the age of four, she had mentioned, and

260

:

they were very involved in the church.

261

:

Even now she works at a Christian

academy in Broward County.

262

:

She's been part of the worship

team for over 20 years.

263

:

And when you think of how her life has

revolved around God for so long, And

264

:

you really understand what worshiping

means, being on the altar, singing

265

:

in front of the congregation for

so, so, so, so many years, you would

266

:

really understand that this person is

naturally held at a higher standard.

267

:

This is exactly what happened

to me when I first met her.

268

:

I was just so nervous.

269

:

I was like, oh my gosh.

270

:

But you assume that they

are strong all the time.

271

:

You assume that they always have

the correct words, that they never

272

:

lose control, that they never have,

you know, bad reactions to anything.

273

:

And when they do, you're in shock.

274

:

I consider this person a friend now, not

because we served together at church,

275

:

but because she offered me the most

precious of gifts when I needed it.

276

:

And it was prayer.

277

:

But this gift came after the first time

I saw her as being more down to earth.

278

:

And again, I say that lightly.

279

:

and I wanna reiterate so you

don't take it out of context.

280

:

I say down to earth because I

did not see her as the ministry

281

:

leader, as the worship leader.

282

:

I saw her as a mom.

283

:

I saw her as the wife, the woman who has

regular emotions just like me, and so of

284

:

the many, many amazing stories that I'm

sure that she has, she shared one that

285

:

happened to her most recent, and that

was just about two days ago on July 30th.

286

:

She was enjoying a relaxing.

287

:

day with a friend at the beach.

288

:

Her and her friend.

289

:

Were discussing, I'm sure many, many

things, and one of them was how God was

290

:

moving this summer in her life and how

she's trying to find joy in the Lord and

291

:

not so much things or people She made it

a point to remind herself continuously

292

:

that God is always with her, that she's

always in his presence, especially

293

:

when things around her or people are

trying to open old wounds, for example.

294

:

So even if she's not worshiping in that

moment, she's been trying this summer

295

:

to remind herself of these things.

296

:

She's holy, she's complete, she's

redeemed, and she's righteous because

297

:

she always carries God with her.

298

:

And so, as they're having these

conversations, they continue to

299

:

enjoy their time at the beach.

300

:

They enjoyed the water.

301

:

They had some snacks, some fruit.

302

:

They went in and out several

times, and finally they decided

303

:

to head out and grab lunch.

304

:

So as they arrived to their lunch

spot, she was about to sit down

305

:

and as she reached in her bag for

her wallet, there was no wallet.

306

:

She honestly became frantic.

307

:

She says that she immediately started

crying and she just couldn't believe

308

:

that she could not find her belongings.

309

:

She didn't find her house keys,

her car keys, her wallet, and.

310

:

I mean, yes, it's a wallet, but if you

think what a wallet includes for most

311

:

people it's, it's her entire life.

312

:

Her cards, her driver's license,

sometimes, you know, maybe cash, but your

313

:

life is in your purse, in your wallet,

and that's how it is for me as well.

314

:

So I a hundred percent understand,

what, losing all of those things.

315

:

can mean, she was in

downright panic mode.

316

:

They headed back to the spot on the

beach she was crying out to God, asking

317

:

him to help her find her belongings.

318

:

And in the midst of that craziness

and chaos looking for her things she

319

:

remembered that it was exactly that.

320

:

Just things she remembered what

she was talking about earlier.

321

:

God is always with her and she

is wholly complete and redeemed.

322

:

She didn't allow the thoughts of the

enemy because that's what happens

323

:

to us in those moments of weakness.

324

:

We forget the meaning of things

and that the spirit of the enemy.

325

:

Can also feed off of our emotions

and we can fall down that rabbit

326

:

hole that's hard to climb out of.

327

:

So thankfully though, she remembered

what she was saying and she remembered

328

:

her God and that the things of this

earth, the material things meant nothing.

329

:

She remembered that she was not

afraid of death, shame, sin,

330

:

everything could be replaced.

331

:

and so in a more composed fashion.

332

:

She asked those that were around her

about her belongings, if anyone had

333

:

seen them, and she continued to, to walk

and look and talk to the Lord as she's

334

:

doing all of those things and she's

saying, this is okay, Lord, I'm okay.

335

:

no one wants to lose their belongings,

their license, go through the hassle

336

:

of getting a new one to begin with.

337

:

'cause the DMVs are insane lately.

338

:

But no one wants to have to go

and block all their accounts,

339

:

replace all the credit cards.

340

:

The debit cards, whatever it is, but

mostly no one wants to have the worry

341

:

of someone has my driver's license,

my house keys, and my car keys.

342

:

That's a different kind of fear in

the world we live in today, guys,

343

:

especially when you have children.

344

:

Our immediate thoughts.

345

:

Are concerning their safety and ensuring

that nothing ever happens to them.

346

:

Now, I wanna ask you, what

do you think she did next?

347

:

If you could take a wild

guess, what would it be?

348

:

I'll give you a few seconds.

349

:

Okay.

350

:

I'm not gonna give you that long, but

my friend went home and she anointed.

351

:

Her house.

352

:

She used anointing oil that was gifted

to her from a friend, um, who had gone

353

:

to Jerusalem and brought it back for her.

354

:

And she prayed and she anointed her home.

355

:

if you're not familiar

with anointing someone.

356

:

Or a home with oil.

357

:

We can discuss that in another episode.

358

:

However, in short, it symbolizes the

presence of the Holy Spirit and it, it

359

:

can be used to set apart individuals

objects as holy or to even invoke

360

:

God's blessing and protect and heal.

361

:

So despite the anxiety of that day, the

worry that she had, she gave it all to God

362

:

and she anointed her home and she trusted

God to protect them, and it was so.

363

:

Everything was okay.

364

:

The sun rose, and so did she, and so

did her family, and everything was well,

365

:

but what wasn't the same was her faith.

366

:

I personally think it was transformed.

367

:

It was stronger than before

because in that moment of

368

:

weakness, she caught herself.

369

:

She stopped the enemy from entering her

heart and her mind and doing what it does

370

:

to most from spiraling how we always tend

to do, and she believed in God's promise

371

:

that with him all things are possible.

372

:

Just like the pencil case.

373

:

The pencil case that was

holding her wallet and her keys,

374

:

that's what it actually said.

375

:

Quote, all things are possible

with God and I'm truly in awe.

376

:

One of the things that she told me in

her recitation of her testimony in, in

377

:

the message that she sent me, was that

she hopes that the person who has her

378

:

belongings or found her belongings, sees

those words and perhaps has their heart

379

:

softened and comes closer to Christ.

380

:

Now, maybe even returning them or

mail some, you know, that would

381

:

be amazing, obviously, but if they

don't that they remember those words.

382

:

talk about bearing fruit.

383

:

Honestly, like when you start getting to

know Jesus and reading the Bible, it talks

384

:

a lot about bearing fruit, and that is

exactly what my friend demonstrates here.

385

:

No anger, just alignment with God's

will, love and kindness towards

386

:

that person, whoever they are.

387

:

So friends, fellow listeners,

doesn't matter if you've always

388

:

been a person of faith, how you

grew up, what you've gone through.

389

:

One thing in these two

testimonies is clear as day.

390

:

Faith keeps these two women grounded.

391

:

They are blinded by faith.

392

:

They have faith even in the unknown.

393

:

Faith in not knowing where

you'll be in 30 days.

394

:

Faith in anointing oil and prayer

to call on God to keep you safe.

395

:

Having faith in God when you don't

understand what, what you're even

396

:

doing, but always listening to

the call and allowing him to do

397

:

the work that only he can do.

398

:

That is what's clear to me from these

two testimonies, whatever it is.

399

:

I hope that when you do hear and

understand God's call that you listen.

400

:

I hope that you have that trust

with your eyes closed, kind of

401

:

faith that my two friends have.

402

:

I hope this blesses you.

403

:

I hope you stick around for part two.

404

:

Until next time, my friends take care.
