Shownotes

Welcome back Rebels!

It’s Obehi here and in this episode, I share my own personal story and journey.

As a psychologist, management consultant, and executive coach, I've dedicated my career to helping others overcome stress, burnout, and mental health challenges. But my path hasn't been an easy one.

I share my journey through challenging times, including academic struggles in my teens and the tragic loss of my mother in a car accident, which profoundly shaped my life and career. I also discuss overcoming stigma related to my hearing challenges.

Through my story, I emphasise the importance of resilience, self-acceptance, and the belief that everyone deserves to thrive, not just survive.

Highlights:

(3:38) Personal struggles with academic failure.

(14:19) The car accident that changed my life.

(20:09) Losing my mother at 19 and its impact on my identity.

(24:50) Trauma, resilience, and mental health support.

(30:40) My hearing challenges.

(36:29) Overcoming personal struggles and grief through self-awareness and vulnerability.
