Found the great silence with their dazzling crystal.

Only to the river they came in mute accord,

Singing the pleasant pleasant music in her cloud,—

Happier than a voice that closed above her soul,

Questioning that presence in the infinite love;

Interprets by utterance of a love divine,

Like a strong presence in the infinite divide,—

Drawn from itself around the circle of the sky,

Questioning that presence in the eternal eye.
