Shownotes

With companies such as Amazon and Apple creating speakers that one can speak into, you get convenience that one never had before. The 2022 film, KIMI, is just about that. The issue with such devices is that they can also do the opposite. They can spy upon you without you even knowing. So the movie KIMI is a very timely film indeed.

From Rottentomatoes: An agoraphobic tech worker discovers recorded evidence of a violent crime but is met with resistance when she tries to report it. Seeking justice, she must now do the thing she fears the most: she must leave her apartment.

The film was directed by Steven Soderbergh (CONTAGION, TRAFFIC) and written by David Koepp (JURASSIC PARK, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE). The films cast includes Zoe Kravitz, Byron Bowers, and Jaime Camil. Released to VOD on HBO Max, the film holds great reviews from reviewers and mixed thoughts by audiences. Your co-hosts take a look at the movie and give their thoughts.
