Shownotes
For some reason, we can easily identify other people’s gifts and strengths, but struggle to recognize our own. We don’t think that we have anything of value to offer the world, but goodness, that is so not the case! Having an unshakable confidence in yourself and what you bring to the table is a beautiful thing. It’s also NECESSARY when you want to bring your goals and intentions to fruition, because no one can do it for you.
In this episode, we cover:
- How so many of us have been conditioned to recognize our flaws above anything else, and not see our value or worth
- Taking time to reflect on and identify your strengths and unique gifts you bring to the world
- Figuring out if your strengths are really true to you, OR if they exist to fulfill other people’s expectations of you
- How your greatest strengths can also be a double-edged sword, and may be more detrimental to you in some ways
- The concept of wholeheartedly believing in and cheering others on, but really struggling to do the same for yourself
- Writing down and/or saving the positive, uplifting notes about yourself (whether you or others shared them)
- Retraining the way you talk to yourself when you make mistakes, and things don’t go according to plan
- Focus on baby steps and celebrate the small wins on your journey
