Have you ever felt like you have a great idea then find yourself starting over and over?
We have all had the spark of inspiration, and it launches us into the ideas and begins us down our path. We are so excited we share, and then we get all kinds of input, and our inspiration gets muddled by outside ideas. We keep going, and we keep asking, and we begin to realize we keep ending up back at the beginning, and our original vision is full of questions instead of energy.
I know many teachers share what you want to do, share your goals, and get accountability. The truth is if we are not stable in our own thoughts and ideas, it's hard to integrate how to, directions, and others' thoughts. We can get lost and loos our original idea, or we can get frustrated by feeling like we keep starting from the beginning.
The more we ask, the less we can absorb and the more we lose or drive. So STOP sit with your idea, let it settle. Get confident, toss it around it a bit on your own mind before you let anyone else in. Do your own processing and when you feel stable and feel like you can accept or reject outside input easily, then take it out in the world. It's not about being stubborn. It's about being stable enough and confident in your inspiration that you can hear and follow through with input without it completely throwing you off.
It happens to all of us, so give yourself permission to be evasive on what you are working on until you feel you can truly hear and take action on outside ideas until your inspiration that can't be knocked down easily. You can move forward to the next phase with confidence.
Until next time, keep it simple, be at ease with yourself, trust your intuition with light the way.
