Hello there,

I'm so happy to be here to give you a quick summer update about what's been going on here in Barcelona - besides the stifling heat and 80% humidity.

I took a break from publishing content this summer to really focus on my health and work through some medical issues that needed my full attention. And sometimes that’s life, and it’s especially the case when you’re living with chronic illness.

Over these past two months, I’ve been finding my way forward in a capacity that works for me and my health, while also recognizing that my motivation for this Hairy Chin work is quite difficult to curb. In Spanish there is a phrase that I love, sin pausa, sin prisa, which means without stopping but without rushing. And that’s probably the best description of where I’ve been and where I am right now.

Aside from healing and work, there has been also plenty of life happening along the way. I’ve been spending time with friends and family, traveling a bit, and enjoying the summer when I can.

onths and through the rest of:

There will be new episode releases starting at the end of this summer. I have been interviewing some really badass women, and I can’t wait to get these episodes out to you. To name some names, I’ve chatted with:

Rebecca Bloom, former benefits attorney and author of When Women Get Sick

Kayla Branstetter, patient advocate and author of Don’t Be An Athena

Anna Mapson, IBS and SIBO Nutritionist, podcast host and author

Jayne Denton, Radiographer and Bone Health Specialist

I’ll be releasing a two-part episode with Janine Doughty-Yazdi, also known as The Feminist Dentist. We dive deep into women’s oral health. And if you don’t know how important oral health is as a woman, then these two episodes are absolutely for you!

I’ve also got some Chin Chats coming - one in particular about my iron infusion this summer - I’ll be sharing the details of the before, the during, and what’s happened after.

And I’m also releasing a series on AI and Health. I’ve been consulting with some computer scientists to bring you credible and clear information about using AI as a research tool for your health. Because AI can be an incredible resource when we understand how to use it, especially when navigating medical information.

Of course, you can sign up for my free newsletter, and you can find me on Instagram or LinkedIn. YouTube is also a work in progress - you’ll see more developing there this year. It is such an honor to do this work. It is far beyond a passion project for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and for all of your support.

I’ll see you soon!
