Carl Casper started his career as a promising chef but he has found himself in a creative rut. The owner of the restaurant he cooks for insists on sticking to a safe and common menu. When a high level critic reviews the standard menu lineup (against Carl's insistence of trying new options) a scathing and potentially career ending review results. To make matters worse, Carl starts a Twitter war with the critic resulting in an embarrassing viral freak out video. With tension in his relationships and his career crumbling Carl looks to move forward.
