Liz shares her fascinating career journey from doing her own weather forecasts as a child, to studying mathematics before joining the Met Office. She’s also spent time forecasting weather for the military, trained other forecasters, managed the BBC Weather Centre and worked in environmental research before joining the Royal Meteorological Society as head of communications, and eventually going on the become chief executive.
