Shownotes

Let’s be real here. Women are really good at pushing away the gifts that we’ve asked for. Let me explain. In this tornado of transformation I’ve been going through, I’ve felt an initiation into womanhood - not biologically or socially, but as a feeling of wisdom and understanding some of the mysteries of life that can’t be explained.

Something that has been getting in my way, and this also happens with my clients, is rejecting, sabotaging, or pushing away the things that we’ve asked for. So often we are hyper-critical of ourselves and the world around us so that we can’t receive the gifts that are coming our way.

Today it’s on my heart to help you:

  • Stop sabotaging yourself
  • Stop running away
  • Stop perpetuating the cycle you want to change
  • Create a space to just be
  • Embrace the transitional process

The outcome isn’t a surprise, but the transition, how long you’ll be there, and what you’ll need to shed are unknown until you go through it. It’s time to harness your creational feminine energy.

Ash Johns:

Hey y'all, back to, it's still happening for another week.

Ash Johns:

Okay.

Ash Johns:

So first off, if you hear the background noise, yes, I have still not healed.

Ash Johns:

Transmuted evolved from not having too many tabs open on my computer

Ash Johns:

and I also have not restarted it.

Ash Johns:

So there goes that, uh, fan situation like it's.

Ash Johns:

It's propelling out into the world.

Ash Johns:

There's also a thunderstorm happening right now.

Ash Johns:

I'm still in South Florida and so we're definitely going through

Ash Johns:

the changing of the seasons.

Ash Johns:

First the rains came.

Ash Johns:

Super early and everything flooded and we were on the news and all that good stuff.

Ash Johns:

And then out of nowhere the summer just came in and the humidity

Ash Johns:

went up and we're like, all right.

Ash Johns:

Well, I guess the rain season came and went, and here we

Ash Johns:

are yet again in rain season.

Ash Johns:

And I know that we're going into hurricane season, but it's

Ash Johns:

just a little bit different.

Ash Johns:

The weather patterns are a little bit different this year than any other year.

Ash Johns:

I feel that I have been here.

Ash Johns:

So if you hear some thunder in the background, that's what's going on.

Ash Johns:

It's just mother nature, welcoming us into another season of change, which

Ash Johns:

is right on topic for what I've been talking about this last month, month and

Ash Johns:

a half casually, directly and indirectly, um, on being in life's transitions

Ash Johns:

and your life changing because I have been in a massive process of change.

Ash Johns:

Huge jungle process of transformation that I finally feel I'm coming out from

Ash Johns:

and that I am going to be teaching about cuz there's so much that I learned in

Ash Johns:

this round of transition and change that I feel I've never experienced before,

Ash Johns:

even though I've gone through lots of leveling up, lots of, opportunities to

Ash Johns:

redesign, revamp, evolve in my life.

Ash Johns:

But this last one, y'all.

Ash Johns:

It truly felt like a full initiation into whole and

Ash Johns:

complete womanhood, not womanhood.

Ash Johns:

That's based on my age or my biology, or the anatomy of my physicality,

Ash Johns:

you know, of my body or what my body is doing, not out of desire.

Ash Johns:

Not out of sassiness or personality, not out of title, not even on how I dress,

Ash Johns:

not even on who I'm dating or engaged to.

Ash Johns:

Like this experience of womanhood initiation has made me scratch my

Ash Johns:

head and questioned everything that I thought about becoming a woman.

Ash Johns:

before, and to be honest with you, I didn't think much of it consciously.

Ash Johns:

Like I never sat down and was like, oh, when I become a woman, I will be.

Ash Johns:

I always thought that womanhood just happened based on age, based on like,

Ash Johns:

you know, maturing and having some wisdom, having some experiences in life.

Ash Johns:

And because of those experiences, you can pass down what you know to someone

Ash Johns:

else, um, that you have the authority to teach or share or mentor someone else.

Ash Johns:

Yeah.

Ash Johns:

And that maybe you do understand some of the mysteries of womanhood that

Ash Johns:

is not written in a book and wasn't like told to you, by an elder or

Ash Johns:

grandmother, or a matriarch, right?

Ash Johns:

Like, I just felt like your life gave you those experiences, which

Ash Johns:

is true, like that's literally what I'm describing in my coming of age.

Ash Johns:

transition and transformation.

Ash Johns:

Now, however,

Ash Johns:

It's not just the process of what happened, it's like what I've learned,

Ash Johns:

like who I've become in that process is what's like mind boggling to me.

Ash Johns:

Like for a big portion of my life.

Ash Johns:

I always thought I, I'm a major influence.

Ash Johns:

I feel like I have, the magnetic and attractive personality

Ash Johns:

that people listen to me.

Ash Johns:

And, and I've always walked in my leadership energy just as a child.

Ash Johns:

And so really the focus was on just being myself.

Ash Johns:

And creating the things that I wanted to create in the world,

Ash Johns:

including the lifestyle, the business, the friends, the freedom.

Ash Johns:

As you guys know, I'm really big on the value, the experience of freedom.

Ash Johns:

It's what drives me or has driven me up to this date in my life, in

Ash Johns:

business, and even in how I run my business, and how I would mentor,

Ash Johns:

coach, and guide all of you, right?

Ash Johns:

It was like, what is gonna make you feel free?

Ash Johns:

What's deeply in your soul?

Ash Johns:

What do you want?

Ash Johns:

That the world and history and ancestral patterns and family programming and

Ash Johns:

conditioning has told you you cannot.

Ash Johns:

And now let's get into the process of creating it and

Ash Johns:

reminding you that you can.

Ash Johns:

So like freedom is a major principle, practice, belief,

Ash Johns:

desire, value that I live by.

Ash Johns:

But what I learned in this journey has brought me to my

Ash Johns:

knees literally and figuratively.

Ash Johns:

When I say I have never prayed so hard, when I say I have never laid

Ash Johns:

on my back and just said, why God, or why, like bring me clarity.

Ash Johns:

Allow me to understand what do I not see?

Ash Johns:

What is blocking me?

Ash Johns:

I'm not lying to you guys like whatsoever.

Ash Johns:

So it's in that energy of like humility, transformation, having gone through

Ash Johns:

the contractions of the birth canal.

Ash Johns:

and been reborn in a new way that I am so sincerely and like vulnerably and

Ash Johns:

open-heartedly coming into this episode of it Still Happening and I titled

Ash Johns:

it, what Do Women Want for a Reason?

Ash Johns:

And by the way, I did not write notes for the first time in this third season.

Ash Johns:

So let's see how this episode goes.

Ash Johns:

But yeah, I was like, what do women want?

Ash Johns:

Because what this journey has revealed to me is how much we, women are not

Ash Johns:

only hyper critical of ourselves and the world and our lived experience.

Ash Johns:

Cause I know it was revealed to me how critical I am and like I love

Ash Johns:

having high standards and I've always had, an interest for quality

Ash Johns:

things and quality experiences.

Ash Johns:

That's just how I roll.

Ash Johns:

That's who I am.

Ash Johns:

But it was to a point of like judging and being so critical of every single

Ash Johns:

thing that I was literally not being able to enjoy anything, you know,

Ash Johns:

anything that was being offered to me.

Ash Johns:

any sincere gesture of love, devotion, appreciation, care, I

Ash Johns:

couldn't even receive it, right?

Ash Johns:

And so I started looking at the ways in which I have calcified myself

Ash Johns:

and become so cynical because of all my lived experience, because

Ash Johns:

of being such a leader, because of being so clear of what I wanted.

Ash Johns:

And I was like, well girl, if you say you want X and then Y, Z and X

Ash Johns:

also show up, but because you weren't expecting Y and Z, you're rejecting X.

Ash Johns:

Like Y is that, you know?

Ash Johns:

And um, it made me think about a lot of my client experiences where I, you know,

Ash Johns:

shout out to y'all who are listening, where, um, know, you were complaining

Ash Johns:

about something or resistant to something.

Ash Johns:

And I was like, but wait a minute.

Ash Johns:

If I go back, 3, 4, 5 sessions ago, or even in your consultation, I

Ash Johns:

remember you specifically saying you wanted this, you were looking

Ash Johns:

for this, you desired this thing.

Ash Johns:

Right?

Ash Johns:

And now that it's starting to show up in your life, you are resisting it, you're

Ash Johns:

complaining about it, you're saying it's not exactly how you thought it

Ash Johns:

would be, or because The person showed up wearing violet instead of purple.

Ash Johns:

You're like, Ugh, I don't want that.

Ash Johns:

You know?

Ash Johns:

And these examples seem so silly, but that's actually what we're doing,

Ash Johns:

like literally what we're doing.

Ash Johns:

I had a client recently who has been a client for a number of years

Ash Johns:

now, about about three, four years.

Ash Johns:

and we were working through her relationship with men and her

Ash Johns:

desire to date higher quality men.

Ash Johns:

Be more secure and safe in a relationship with men.

Ash Johns:

Enjoy the dating process.

Ash Johns:

Open up to vulnerability, like have commitment at the highest most

Ash Johns:

devotional, most, beautiful way in which she would feel cherished.

Ash Johns:

And as we were working through her ways of running away from men when they're

Ash Johns:

approaching her or judging men when they're trying to show interest in her.

Ash Johns:

I was like, but you're literally pushing away.

Ash Johns:

A potential opportunity for what you want.

Ash Johns:

And obviously there's nuance and details.

Ash Johns:

I won't go into all of that right now.

Ash Johns:

That's something that we'll be talking about in great detail inside my

Ash Johns:

upcoming program, which I'm gonna be telling you about in this episode.

Ash Johns:

So don't you worry, but I just wanna be like, you know, what do we women want?

Ash Johns:

What do we want?

Ash Johns:

And this episode has actually been bubbling in my spirit for quite some

Ash Johns:

time because when I look out into social media, Which as you guys know, I'm just

Ash Johns:

now starting to come back online and I'm still tiptoeing a bit, so bear with me.

Ash Johns:

Okay.

Ash Johns:

Like give me some encouragement like when I do post, I need some comments.

Ash Johns:

I need some love cuz like it's wild out there.

Ash Johns:

Like it is wild.

Ash Johns:

I'm like man, like.

Ash Johns:

I've been enjoying not showing up on social, but I also miss it sometimes.

Ash Johns:

So side note of that.

Ash Johns:

But when I look out into social media, I just see so many conversations

Ash Johns:

and opposition to each other and like that contradict each other.

Ash Johns:

And one moment we're saying we want the soft life and we want ease and we

Ash Johns:

wanna just, you know, be in our feminine flow and like, frolic in the fields

Ash Johns:

and be able to lay around all day and have spa days all day, which don't

Ash Johns:

get me wrong, I want all those things.

Ash Johns:

But then when we start having these things, we're like, oh

Ash Johns:

my God, I need to do something.

Ash Johns:

Oh my God.

Ash Johns:

I have no purpose.

Ash Johns:

There's no structure.

Ash Johns:

I want the soft life, but who's gonna do the heavy lifting then?

Ash Johns:

Like, and, and every aspect of this planet and this human experience.

Ash Johns:

We know that there is a yin and a yang.

Ash Johns:

Opposites go together.

Ash Johns:

And when those opposites come together, we birth a new thing that we see it in

Ash Johns:

nature, we see it all over the place.

Ash Johns:

And this isn't about polarity and like, these heteronormative

Ash Johns:

ideas, but I'm just talking about straight up energy and what we see.

Ash Johns:

And so when I see us, you about the soft life, but then turning around

Ash Johns:

being like, You need to be resilient and You know, like criticizing

Ash Johns:

men, talking shit about men.

Ash Johns:

Like one minute we say we want the soft life.

Ash Johns:

Next minute we're talking about how we're like busting down 20 K in a month.

Ash Johns:

You know, we're in a day, I don't know.

Ash Johns:

Energetically, it doesn't make sense to me, and maybe it's because I'm reading

Ash Johns:

the energy of what people are saying.

Ash Johns:

Rather than the logic of how two things can be true, because I know,

Ash Johns:

I know we can have a soft life and also not resist something else.

Ash Johns:

That's the whole point of this episode of like us getting clear about, and even you,

Ash Johns:

and even specifically me getting clear about what I want and being so open to

Ash Johns:

the many ways that can be birthed into my life that I'm not resisting contracting.

Ash Johns:

Sabotaging, doubting, running away from stabbing, talking

Ash Johns:

shit about confusing, right?

Ash Johns:

Myself when it starts coming into fruition.

Ash Johns:

You feel me?

Ash Johns:

I just wonder if you feel me, and I think you probably do.

Ash Johns:

I'm sure we can all sit back and be like, oh wait, I asked for this.

Ash Johns:

Because, oh my goodness.

Ash Johns:

There it goes.

Ash Johns:

That's what happened to me when I looked at this transformational journey.

Ash Johns:

I've been on these last nine plus months.

Ash Johns:

I had to sit back and say, you asked for this.

Ash Johns:

You did want this.

Ash Johns:

You said you wanted to step into creating content, speaking

Ash Johns:

and writing, and that's it.

Ash Johns:

That's it.

Ash Johns:

Not that I don't love doing group coaching.

Ash Johns:

Not that I don't love holding containers, not that I don't love you.

Ash Johns:

Amazing one-to-one clients not that I don't love hosting

Ash Johns:

retreats, I love all of that.

Ash Johns:

But there's something about being in ritual, having routine, being

Ash Johns:

in this quiet, introverted space, focusing on myself, my family, and

Ash Johns:

like expression of work that has.

Ash Johns:

Me a little bit, remove that.

Ash Johns:

Just centers the work, you know, and allows it to minister

Ash Johns:

to you wherever you are.

Ash Johns:

And I remember being in a bathtub while I was in a mastermind on a call with like

Ash Johns:

24 other women bawling my eyes out crying, being like, I need the space to create.

Ash Johns:

I need the space to just be, there's so much inside of me that wants to come

Ash Johns:

up and out and just be in this world.

Ash Johns:

Right live out there for people to find at any point in time in their

Ash Johns:

life that I just feel like running my business day to day is not

Ash Johns:

allowing me the space to do it right.

Ash Johns:

So when I was on my Path to Freedom Tour and I started really feeling that, I don't

Ash Johns:

know, I guess everything I was carrying with, holding the business oozing out of

Ash Johns:

me, like all of the stress, all that I was holding, all of the responsibility like.

Ash Johns:

All of it coming out of me and I had nothing to do.

Ash Johns:

What?

Ash Johns:

To be with myself and detox from being a business owner, detox from being

Ash Johns:

responsible, detox from answering, showing up, putting together, reviewing,

Ash Johns:

taking note of, you know, all the things that we do as business owners.

Ash Johns:

When I just cleared it, cleared my schedule, had no clients

Ash Johns:

and was just focused on myself.

Ash Johns:

The truth of what was in my heart was so potent that it hurt, you know?

Ash Johns:

It hurt.

Ash Johns:

And so doing this whole process is like, you know, we don't just flip a switch.

Ash Johns:

We don't just be like, oh my God, I want my life to change.

Ash Johns:

And then the next day the life changes.

Ash Johns:

Or like, oh my God, I want my business to be whatever.

Ash Johns:

And then it just happens the next day, especially when you've been conditioned

Ash Johns:

to work a certain way and that certain way of working, of showing up in life and

Ash Johns:

business has rewarded you what you wanted.

Ash Johns:

Back then.

Ash Johns:

Right?

Ash Johns:

It's rewarded you a good life.

Ash Johns:

The recognition, the appreciation, all these different things.

Ash Johns:

You got it by being a certain way, and so there is a process of detoxification,

Ash Johns:

purification that you're required to go through, which is part of the transition,

Ash Johns:

which is part of the process, right, of change we have to go through in order

Ash Johns:

to clear out and create enough space for us to step into something else.

Ash Johns:

And so as I was doing that, my system would flare up and

Ash Johns:

I mean flare up big time.

Ash Johns:

Y'all like gross flare up where I would just be like abandoning the

Ash Johns:

journey of transitioning my life in business and the what I wanted it to be.

Ash Johns:

I would like wanna run back to what it was.

Ash Johns:

I'd be like, okay, let me go and get a couple clients.

Ash Johns:

Like it's the right thing to do financially.

Ash Johns:

It's gonna be great.

Ash Johns:

You know, I kind of miss the thing.

Ash Johns:

Like I don't want people to forget about me.

Ash Johns:

Like I did all this work.

Ash Johns:

I don't need to abandon the work that I did.

Ash Johns:

Like I can do it all.

Ash Johns:

I can basically have my cake and eat it too, but not in a way that it was

Ash Johns:

expansive, have my cake and eat it too.

Ash Johns:

It was like a constrictive, fearful, like conditioning.

Ash Johns:

I have controlled, I have been powerful.

Ash Johns:

I have been in my.

Ash Johns:

Queen's throne, you know, for all these years doing it this way.

Ash Johns:

What do you mean I'm gonna stop and slow down and just write and not get the

Ash Johns:

dopamine hits or the affirmations or the, um, adrenaline was, or the appreciation of

Ash Johns:

people who I've helped their lives change.

Ash Johns:

It was really weird, like really, really weird.

Ash Johns:

And so during that time, like I was saying, I've watched a lot of the

Ash Johns:

conversations that were happening online, a lot of conversations

Ash Johns:

between black women and black women.

Ash Johns:

Black women and white women.

Ash Johns:

White women and white women.

Ash Johns:

Like I just look at all these kinds of conversations with women regardless

Ash Johns:

to class, race, age, and I was like, we women are so amazing and such

Ash Johns:

creational forces that we don't even see when we're creating our own bullshit.

Ash Johns:

We don't even see when we are perpetuating a cycle that we said we

Ash Johns:

wanna change because we're so conditioned.

Ash Johns:

We're so in our body, we so wanna be safe, and we're also so smart.

Ash Johns:

So smart.

Ash Johns:

And I was like, oh my goodness, this is exactly what I'm doing.

Ash Johns:

The only way I'm going to be able to truly get what I want is if I go all the

Ash Johns:

way through this transitionary process.

Ash Johns:

If I fully surrender.

Ash Johns:

And if I fully allow myself to go into the womb, the void, the mushiness, the

Ash Johns:

ugliness, the, I don't even know myself, I don't remember my identity space, so that

Ash Johns:

I can literally rebirth myself, rebrand myself, and come back with clarity.

Ash Johns:

And I'll tell you guys, I never thought that I would be teaching

Ash Johns:

about moving through transition.

Ash Johns:

You know, most times coming from the coaching world are coming from the

Ash Johns:

healing world, which I'm a member of both.

Ash Johns:

And even in the business world, cuz I'm also that, um, we focus on what are you

Ash Johns:

going to do to get where you wanna go?

Ash Johns:

Right?

Ash Johns:

It's like, what are the new thoughts?

Ash Johns:

What are the new actions?

Ash Johns:

Where's the accountability?

Ash Johns:

Where's the structure?

Ash Johns:

How are you sabotaging yourself?

Ash Johns:

Can we think about this differently with our mindset?

Ash Johns:

get into a group, invest.

Ash Johns:

Like it's always about the doing the doing the doing in order to

Ash Johns:

get to the outcome or the change.

Ash Johns:

Or the transformation and not the slowing down.

Ash Johns:

The reflection, the surrender, the collapse, the decay.

Ash Johns:

Right.

Ash Johns:

And because we're so afraid of that part, I feel that us women are doing ourselves

Ash Johns:

the greatest disservice of how powerful we are when we truly allow ourselves to go

Ash Johns:

through the full transformational process.

Ash Johns:

It almost feels like Arrested Development.

Ash Johns:

I watched myself multiple times trying to abort the mission instead of going all

Ash Johns:

the way through it, and I would try to negotiate, like I would be like, okay,

Ash Johns:

two months have gone by, or like two weeks have gone by and I haven't posted on

Ash Johns:

social, like that was enough of a detox.

Ash Johns:

I think I'm ready.

Ash Johns:

Or I would sign up for something and be like, okay, like I could use this to

Ash Johns:

kind of inspire me to start stepping out.

Ash Johns:

You know, I'm ready.

Ash Johns:

And that's when I would do like one little post or do one little thing and my whole

Ash Johns:

body would contract and be like, not yet.

Ash Johns:

Why are you rushing this process?

Ash Johns:

I had to be honest and be like, cuz I'm scared.

Ash Johns:

I wanna evolve and become even more of who I'm meant to be at the next level.

Ash Johns:

I'm not willing to sacrifice what I've already built.

Ash Johns:

Whew.

Ash Johns:

You hear that?

Ash Johns:

What I've already built in order to change.

Ash Johns:

And I know this, I have seen this with particularly my business clients

Ash Johns:

who would be like, I definitely want to leave corporate, but I'm

Ash Johns:

not willing for my income to change.

Ash Johns:

I need to do a horizontal right shift or transition.

Ash Johns:

I'm down with that, but I am not okay with, going down in my salary, my income.

Ash Johns:

Like I'm not gonna change where I live.

Ash Johns:

I'm not gonna do any of those things.

Ash Johns:

I'm not gonna reduce my expenses, but my whole life needs to change.

Ash Johns:

And I would be like, okay, let's figure out a way to do that.

Ash Johns:

But you also know so much.

Ash Johns:

Happens when you allow yourself to shed in the way that you need

Ash Johns:

to shed to descend down into the quote unquote unknown process.

Ash Johns:

Cuz it is the, the process is unknown.

Ash Johns:

The outcome isn't, we know exactly what we want, how long you're gonna be in that.

Ash Johns:

And I talked about this, I think last episode or the episode before,

Ash Johns:

how long you're gonna be in the process is really the unknown.

Ash Johns:

What you're gonna uncover is really the unknown.

Ash Johns:

What you're gonna have to shed is the unknown, right?

Ash Johns:

What it will require of you is the unknown, but what you actually want.

Ash Johns:

What you're looking to birth in your life.

Ash Johns:

You know that you know exactly what you want and it can show up in a multitude of

Ash Johns:

ways, but you're gonna get what you want.

Ash Johns:

You could say you want a four bedroom house, you might end up with a five.

Ash Johns:

You might end up with a three bedroom plus den.

Ash Johns:

You know, it might be on the top of a hill, it might be

Ash Johns:

at the bottom of the hill.

Ash Johns:

It could be in the neighborhood you want, but not on the street you expected.

Ash Johns:

You know what I'm saying?

Ash Johns:

But you know, you're gonna get the house and you know you're gonna love it,

Ash Johns:

and it's gonna be brightly lit the way that you want and all the things right.

Ash Johns:

We're home shopping.

Ash Johns:

So I think that's why that example came through.

Ash Johns:

But like the outcome actually isn't a surprise.

Ash Johns:

I know what I said that I wanted when I embarked in this journey.

Ash Johns:

I just didn't know when I said, I'm going on this book writing tour.

Ash Johns:

I'm ready to write this book.

Ash Johns:

I'm ready to step into being a speaker and an author, and a

Ash Johns:

content creator and a person that holds space in a different way.

Ash Johns:

I didn't know that it was gonna take everything away and make me slow,

Ash Johns:

completely down and let go of even the way that I've taught and held space.

Ash Johns:

Right.

Ash Johns:

I learned a lot about how much energy I give when I'm holding space and how I

Ash Johns:

wanna do that a little bit differently.

Ash Johns:

A little bit differently in alignment with my human design, which we'll have

Ash Johns:

an episode about that in the future.

Ash Johns:

So I don't wanna belabor today's point.

Ash Johns:

I'm gonna keep this one really sweet and sassy for you.

Ash Johns:

I want you to think about what you actually want, and not

Ash Johns:

only what you actually want.

Ash Johns:

But are you willing to go through the transformational process that will

Ash Johns:

allow you to become that, to become that woman so you can have those things,

Ash Johns:

and also hold those things, right?

Ash Johns:

Becoming that woman is a process of creating a new identity, a different

Ash Johns:

knowing, unlocking things inside.

Ash Johns:

If you didn't know.

Ash Johns:

Stopping to perpetuate beliefs and standards and expectations

Ash Johns:

that no longer serve you.

Ash Johns:

Oh my God, there's a lot of those I'm gonna be teaching about

Ash Johns:

inside of presence in the process.

Ash Johns:

and also how to wield your power, like truly how to

Ash Johns:

understand what your power is.

Ash Johns:

And let me talk about that for a brief second.

Ash Johns:

Y'all.

Ash Johns:

When I talk about understanding how powerful you truly are, I've always

Ash Johns:

thought about it through the context of.

Ash Johns:

If I think about it, I can do it.

Ash Johns:

If I put my mind to it and I take the action, I will have it again all

Ash Johns:

through my will, my force, my action, my um, masculine energy, my executive

Ash Johns:

functioning, like all of that.

Ash Johns:

But we forget that as women, as feminine people, as womb bearers our energy force.

Ash Johns:

The way that we respond to people, the way that we walk, the way that we

Ash Johns:

move is a force to be reckoned with.

Ash Johns:

It does create new realities, and that's the biggest thing that I learn at a

Ash Johns:

level that I didn't fully understand in this last transformational journey.

Ash Johns:

That's the reason why I feel called to teach about moving through transition with

Ash Johns:

more ease, allowing yourself to descend into the space that makes you most scared.

Ash Johns:

With support, with guidance.

Ash Johns:

With understanding with some bumper, you know, if you ever go bowling and

Ash Johns:

like the kid can't roll down and they put the little bumpers so you don't

Ash Johns:

go throw gutter balls the whole time, like with a couple, bumpers to protect

Ash Johns:

you a bit, but really allow yourself to go there into the darkness so that

Ash Johns:

you can fully transform and emerge as the incredible, infinite powerful.

Ash Johns:

All seeing, all knowing all worthy woman that you truly are, because

Ash Johns:

that is exactly what I have done.

Ash Johns:

And I feel really compelled to not only give you tips and practices and

Ash Johns:

ways of looking at being in transition, being in a process of change, in the

Ash Johns:

in between, right, not only to help you navigate that space better and with

Ash Johns:

more ease and with more confidence, but also to tell you guys some real stories.

Ash Johns:

Of things that I have gone through, you know, these last

Ash Johns:

nine months have not been a game.

Ash Johns:

They have not been a joke.

Ash Johns:

I couldn't show up online because if you saw how I was showing up

Ash Johns:

online, you would've been like, Ooh, unsubscribing, never subscribe again.

Ash Johns:

You know what I mean?

Ash Johns:

Like it was not pretty.

Ash Johns:

It was so not pretty.

Ash Johns:

Like learning how to be a fiance, leaving behind an old version of my life.

Ash Johns:

All of that independence, like all of that freedom.

Ash Johns:

And not to say I'm like super duper locked down now, but it was

Ash Johns:

just a different way of operating.

Ash Johns:

I'm operating completely different, becoming a stepmom, right?

Ash Johns:

Sharing space, living in a different space that I wasn't expecting, no

Ash Johns:

longer identifying with being a coach, money changing my relationship

Ash Johns:

to finance and money and abundance.

Ash Johns:

It's my voice and my perspective.

Ash Johns:

My spirituality has evolved.

Ash Johns:

My body, my physical body, my womb, like my weight, there is so much that

Ash Johns:

I'm gonna be talking about inside of this new program and teaching you.

Ash Johns:

It is the things that got me through the things that help me restore my

Ash Johns:

faith in myself, my courage, the things that help me get clear about this

Ash Johns:

identity and grasp onto hope and faith and clarity when I felt the foggiest.

Ash Johns:

It's behind the scenes of what I know to be true.

Ash Johns:

Anytime that you feel like your world is upside down and inside out

Ash Johns:

and you know that you need it to be, but you're also hating the process.

Ash Johns:

Cuz I hated the process.

Ash Johns:

Y'all hated it.

Ash Johns:

Loathed it, cursed it.

Ash Johns:

this is that, this is for the woman.

Ash Johns:

When we always say I want it all, I wanna have it all.

Ash Johns:

This is for the woman who knows she can be it all to have it all.

Ash Johns:

And I don't mean be it all, as in you're running around and you're

Ash Johns:

responsible for all the things.

Ash Johns:

You have to hold it together and you don't need to ask for help.

Ash Johns:

That's not the what the fuck I'm talking about at all.

Ash Johns:

Hail.

Ash Johns:

No, definitely not.

Ash Johns:

But what I am talking about is the woman who is so whole and so clear about.

Ash Johns:

All of her cells, all the aspects of self inside of her that she has a

Ash Johns:

plethora of resources to pull upon in this process of creating a life that

Ash Johns:

she wants over and over and over again.

Ash Johns:

Because guess what?

Ash Johns:

Change is not gonna stop happening.

Ash Johns:

As the quote says, the only constant is change.

Ash Johns:

We will always change.

Ash Johns:

We will always go through a transition, and as much as we

Ash Johns:

wanna make the transition easier.

Ash Johns:

Or to bypass it and go from one state to another without any of the murkiness,

Ash Johns:

any of the confusion, any of that, and just go straight to having what

Ash Johns:

you want and being what you want and being recognized the way that you want.

Ash Johns:

That's not how this world works.

Ash Johns:

It just doesn't.

Ash Johns:

And when people are selling you quantum leaps and you're just gonna snap your

Ash Johns:

finger and it's all gonna change, it's a lie because there is a lot of

Ash Johns:

energetic shift that needs to happen.

Ash Johns:

To alchemize you into the position to even recognize that what you

Ash Johns:

want is coming to you and to stay on your faith, in your belief, in your

Ash Johns:

spiritual practice, in your right mind, in your response to the world.

Ash Johns:

As you change and as it changes, it's a whole motherfucking process.

Ash Johns:

Right.

Ash Johns:

So in this program, okay, I'm gonna talk about it a little bit, just briefly.

Ash Johns:

First off, it's gonna be amazing.

Ash Johns:

I'm very, very proud.

Ash Johns:

I've taken the time to outline all the things that I wanna talk

Ash Johns:

about and share with you guys.

Ash Johns:

I don't think I have a program that uses my life.

Ash Johns:

As an example, so intimately, this is my first time ever really creating, like

Ash Johns:

everything that I've offered is stuff that I have already done or I was doing,

Ash Johns:

or I organized it in a way and I taught it to you, or I guided you through it.

Ash Johns:

You know, finding your freedom is like that.

Ash Johns:

Healing is happening is like, here's my system to learn how

Ash Johns:

to work with your ancestors.

Ash Johns:

Finding your freedom is a system that I still use on like getting

Ash Johns:

clarity in your path in life.

Ash Johns:

But this is like, I am using actual experiences from my real

Ash Johns:

life and the actual things I did to help me get through it, right?

Ash Johns:

So it, it's gonna be seven weeks, it's a seven week program.

Ash Johns:

We're gonna have one week, that's just prep week, getting

Ash Johns:

us into the space, right?

Ash Johns:

Getting nice and cozy.

Ash Johns:

I've got some prep work, some storytelling that's gonna get

Ash Johns:

you really excited and juiced up.

Ash Johns:

And then we're gonna go through a six week journey.

Ash Johns:

Technically it's five and a bonus week.

Ash Johns:

All right, there you go.

Ash Johns:

Surprise, surprise.

Ash Johns:

It's five weeks of content and then a bonus week.

Ash Johns:

And the bonus content is really beautiful because it's like the bow, to me, um,

Ash Johns:

of wrapping up the entire experience.

Ash Johns:

But in it, we're gonna be looking at, you know, where are you in your transition?

Ash Johns:

Like truly, cuz sometimes we think we know, but really we don't wanna look

Ash Johns:

at where we're at in the transition.

Ash Johns:

We just wanna keep focusing on, on where we wanna go.

Ash Johns:

So there's gonna be a journey about that, of just accepting and seeing

Ash Johns:

exactly where you are and claiming it and owning it and being okay with that

Ash Johns:

because we know that we're in motion and that motion is what creates the freedom.

Ash Johns:

But it's not about running with motion.

Ash Johns:

Enforcing motion stillness is actually emotion.

Ash Johns:

Learning how to be still in the process when it's rightful.

Ash Johns:

And that discernment to know that is powerful.

Ash Johns:

All right, in week two, I'm gonna take you guys through the, alchemical practices and

Ash Johns:

process and honestly like state of being shifts that allow you to be in transition

Ash Johns:

and in process with far more ease, less resistance, less struggle, less.

Ash Johns:

Thrashing around and fighting with yourself and sabotaging and to reduce

Ash Johns:

being confused and double minded.

Ash Johns:

And this to me is like the core teaching.

Ash Johns:

Like this is the skills that you can take and use.

Ash Johns:

You can be like, this is how I'm feeling, this is what's going on.

Ash Johns:

Oh, let me pull up that audio from Ash.

Ash Johns:

Like I remember us talking about this.

Ash Johns:

I'm gonna do this practice.

Ash Johns:

Right?

Ash Johns:

And it's gonna help you be in your body and get present and honor, right.

Ash Johns:

This program is actually about.

Ash Johns:

Honoring your process so that you feel as abundant as you

Ash Johns:

are by being in the process.

Ash Johns:

Cuz the process is really working for you.

Ash Johns:

It is.

Ash Johns:

It's exactly what we asked for.

Ash Johns:

You have to go through the process in order to get to where you wanna go.

Ash Johns:

That's just it.

Ash Johns:

We even do that in our vehicles, you know what I'm saying?

Ash Johns:

You know what I'm saying?

Ash Johns:

so.

Ash Johns:

Week two is I'm not gonna wait a long time.

Ash Johns:

I'm not gonna like spread out all of the steps in like over the

Ash Johns:

whole, you know, five, six weeks.

Ash Johns:

No, we're gonna let that be right there in week two.

Ash Johns:

and then after that we're gonna talk about some key areas that we fuck up

Ash Johns:

our transition or we try to abandon our transition or we try to u-turn

Ash Johns:

off of our transition and go back.

Ash Johns:

And that part of like trying to go back to what's more comfortable.

Ash Johns:

Let me tell y'all.

Ash Johns:

It's the thing that we don't even realize we're doing it and we're doing it.

Ash Johns:

I caught myself so many times being like, you are operating off of fear.

Ash Johns:

You are operating off of giving the past version of you more glory than future you.

Ash Johns:

And we're gonna stop that.

Ash Johns:

So all of the teachings after that week are really like how you're gonna

Ash Johns:

stop denying yourself and step into the truth, the truth of where you

Ash Johns:

are and the truth of where you're going, how you face the facts.

Ash Johns:

How you bring together all the parts.

Ash Johns:

Cuz like I noticed with myself and also with clients, we'll bring in a

Ash Johns:

bunch of information from a bunch of different sources and places we'll be

Ash Johns:

like, well my human design says this and astrology says this and my mentor says

Ash Johns:

this, but the business world says this.

Ash Johns:

And then, and then we're all confused cuz we have all these

Ash Johns:

different energies going on.

Ash Johns:

Not realizing that your only job is to be in the process and the truth of the

Ash Johns:

process is what's gonna move you forward.

Ash Johns:

Right.

Ash Johns:

So I'm gonna take you through all of that stuff.

Ash Johns:

We're gonna talk about how to move through the process in your own

Ash Johns:

terms and what that even means.

Ash Johns:

We're gonna talk about stopping the dysfunctional spiral, how

Ash Johns:

you can stop just coping and like putting a bandaid on stuff and

Ash Johns:

all your different entanglements.

Ash Johns:

That's amazing.

Ash Johns:

That's gonna create a lot of freedom and empowerment in your energy field

Ash Johns:

so that you can navigate yourself day to day with more confidence.

Ash Johns:

And then we're gonna talk about how you set the new standards and rise into your

Ash Johns:

own promises to yourself as you move through your birthing or your rebirth.

Ash Johns:

So this program is all about mastering your experience of moving

Ash Johns:

through a big, massive, huge life and business transition, and to

Ash Johns:

stop resisting it, knowing that it is leading you to what you deeply

Ash Johns:

truly want and what is best for you.

Ash Johns:

I feel so inspired about this program.

Ash Johns:

I feel so proud of myself, of the work that I have done with myself

Ash Johns:

to be able to bring this to you.

Ash Johns:

And I feel proud that I even moved through this myself.

Ash Johns:

Like this is like, I'm not joking guys.

Ash Johns:

I feel like I'm, I don't have the words that are fully capturing right

Ash Johns:

now, how much of a gift it has been for me to move through what I've moved

Ash Johns:

through over these last few months.

Ash Johns:

So if you're interested in that, definitely sign up, reach out.

Ash Johns:

The information is in the show notes.

Ash Johns:

And don't forget, we also have the Elevating Woman's Retreat

Ash Johns:

coming up in Mexico this August over US Labor Day weekend.

Ash Johns:

It is four days together.

Ash Johns:

If you are in a place of transition, if you are looking for some nurturing,

Ash Johns:

some fun, some women to see you at your highest level and to help you sit on your

Ash Johns:

throne, help you trust your process, that is the retreat that you need to be at.

Ash Johns:

Definitely check out the information in the show notes and reach out

Ash Johns:

if you wanna talk about what you can expect from the retreat.

Ash Johns:

Otherwise, I hope you continue moving through your transitionary period

Ash Johns:

with as much ease and confidence as you possibly can, and know that is

Ash Johns:

a hundred percent working for your highest good, for you to step into

Ash Johns:

your calling and to be the woman, the person, the amazing human that I know,

Ash Johns:

and you know that you're called to be.

Ash Johns:

Thanks for being here, y'all.
