Shownotes

The salient point of this message is that true Kingdom wealth is characterized by its capacity to assist others and honor Jesus, rather than serving as a mere instrument for self-aggrandizement. In this concluding episode of our series, we emphasize that prosperity is not a self-centered pursuit, but rather a divine provision intended for the benefit of those in need. The core principle is encapsulated in the assertion that if our wealth does not yield tangible evidence of justice, mercy, and mission, it cannot be deemed Kingdom wealth; it is simply financial resources devoid of purpose. I invite you to reflect on your own lives and consider the impact of your blessings on others. We must strive to cultivate a heart posture that aligns with these values, for the legacy we leave behind is intrinsically linked to how we utilize the blessings bestowed upon us. The podcast culminates in a profound exploration of what it means to embody true prosperity, encapsulated in the statement 'Kingdom Wealth Has Receipts: Justice, Mercy, Mission.' The host emphasizes that genuine wealth is not defined by material possessions but by the positive impact one has on the lives of others. This message serves as a clarion call to listeners, urging them to recognize that their financial blessings should translate into acts of service that honor God and uplift those in need. The scriptural foundation from Matthew 25 reinforces the idea that our faith must manifest in tangible actions, particularly towards the marginalized and the vulnerable, thus challenging the audience to reassess their priorities and financial habits. Throughout the episode, the host employs relatable anecdotes and vivid illustrations to bring the concepts to life, particularly through the story of a selfless individual who quietly assists those around him. This narrative starkly contrasts with the often superficial expressions of wealth that pervade contemporary society, urging listeners to embrace a heart posture focused on the welfare of others rather than self-aggrandizement. The core message is clear: true prosperity is not merely a matter of personal gain but rather about the legacy of love and service one leaves behind. This episode implores individuals to act with intention, ensuring that their financial decisions align with the values of justice, mercy, and mission. The practical advice provided in the latter part of the episode empowers listeners to take concrete steps towards living out this message. By suggesting the creation of a 'Receipts List' to document acts of justice, mercy, and mission, the host reinforces the idea that faith should be actionable and visible. The reflection questions at the conclusion serve as a tool for self-examination, prompting individuals to consider the impact of their blessings on their communities. Thus, this episode not only serves as a powerful teaching moment but also as a motivational guide, emphasizing that a life dedicated to serving others is the truest form of wealth.

Takeaways:

  1. The essence of Kingdom wealth lies in its ability to leave tangible evidence of impact.
  2. True prosperity is characterized by acts of justice, mercy, and mission rather than mere accumulation of wealth.
  3. Generosity should be a deliberate part of one’s financial planning, akin to a mandatory expense.
  4. Real faith is demonstrated through practical actions that assist others in need, reflecting Christ's love in our lives.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Foreign.

Speaker A:

We've arrived at the end of the series.

Speaker A:

It's not about you.

Speaker A:

Prosperity is not self centered.

Speaker A:

This is the final message.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, I need you to listen like your life depends on it.

Speaker A:

Because your legacy for sure depends on it.

Speaker A:

Message one, we discussed blessed for others, not just for self.

Speaker A:

Your hands are a pipeline, not a museum.

Speaker A:

And message three, Prosperity without purpose becomes pride.

Speaker A:

So now we finish with the evidence.

Speaker A:

Because real prosperity is not a slogan.

Speaker A:

Real prosperity is not a caption.

Speaker A:

Real prosperity leaves a trail.

Speaker A:

Today's message is called Kingdom.

Speaker A:

Wealth has receipts, justice, mercy and mission.

Speaker A:

Because if God truly prospered you, somebody should be able to testify, I ate because of them.

Speaker A:

I got help because of because of them.

Speaker A:

I found Jesus because of them.

Speaker A:

And let me say it early.

Speaker A:

Some people don't need a new prayer point, they need a new heart posture.

Speaker A:

Because you can't shout Amen and live me.

Speaker A:

Can I get an Amen?

Speaker A:

Matthew:

Speaker A:

I was a stranger and you invited me in.

Speaker A:

Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, Jesus is saying, you can't claim you love me and ignore people.

Speaker A:

You can't say God blessed me and pass by the hungry like a pothole.

Speaker A:

You've learned to dodge.

Speaker A:

Picture this.

Speaker A:

You're in a long queue.

Speaker A:

Home affairs, the bank, the clinic.

Speaker A:

You know those South African queues that feel like you can grow a beard inside them?

Speaker A:

People are tired, with sore feet.

Speaker A:

A young mom is still holding a baby who's crying.

Speaker A:

A student is anxious because class starts very soon.

Speaker A:

A security guard is trying to keep order.

Speaker A:

Then a man walks in, doesn't push people, he doesn't shout, doesn't arrive like a celebrity.

Speaker A:

He arrives like a helper.

Speaker A:

He buys the gogo a chair.

Speaker A:

He buys the baby milk.

Speaker A:

He gives the student airtime to message the lecturer.

Speaker A:

He encourages the security guard.

Speaker A:

Then he leaves quietly.

Speaker A:

No camera, no post, no guys.

Speaker A:

I'm blessing people today.

Speaker A:

Now here's the tension.

Speaker A:

If that man claims God has blessed me, you will believe him.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because you saw the receipts.

Speaker A:

But if someone claims I'm blessed and all we see is outfits, upgrades and attitude.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, that's not prosperity, that is performance.

Speaker A:

Some people don't give, they perform, they don't sow, they show.

Speaker A:

Here's the big idea.

Speaker A:

If your wealth doesn't help people that honor Jesus, it's not Kingdom wealth, it's Just money.

Speaker A:

Say it with me.

Speaker A:

My blessing will leave receipts.

Speaker A:

Now, Matthew 25 is Jesus teaching about judgment, about the real evidence of faith?

Speaker A:

He says, when I was hungry, did you feed me?

Speaker A:

When I was thirsty, did you help me?

Speaker A:

When I was a stranger in a land that is not mine, did you welcome me?

Speaker A:

When I was sick or in prison, did you visit me?

Speaker A:

Now listen.

Speaker A:

Jesus is not saying we earn salvation by good works.

Speaker A:

Salvation is by grace, through faith.

Speaker A:

But real faith produces fruit.

Speaker A:

Good works are not the root of salvation.

Speaker A:

Good works are the fruit of salvation.

Speaker A:

Now, if Jesus is truly in your heart, he will show up in your hands.

Speaker A:

Y' all don't hear me?

Speaker A:

If Jesus is truly in your heart, he will show up in your hands.

Speaker A:

Now, God prospers people for kingdom impact, justice, mercy and mission so the world can see his goodness.

Speaker A:

Now, some people normally say, but if I help too much, people will use me.

Speaker A:

I must focus on me first.

Speaker A:

It's not my job to fix everyone.

Speaker A:

Some of you are afraid because people will use you.

Speaker A:

But right now, money is using you.

Speaker A:

Yes, wisdom matters.

Speaker A:

You don't find laziness.

Speaker A:

You don't reward manipulation.

Speaker A:

But the answer to misuse is not selfishness, it's wisdom.

Speaker A:

Now, Jesus didn't say help only when it's convenient.

Speaker A:

He said, whatever you did for the least, you did for me.

Speaker A:

That means generosity is not a trend.

Speaker A:

Generosity is discipleship.

Speaker A:

Now, this week, your faith must become visible.

Speaker A:

Not in talk, not in captions, in practical help, in consistent giving, in serving people quietly, cleanly, faithfully.

Speaker A:

Here are some points for this point 1.

Speaker A:

Justice.

Speaker A:

Use your power to lift, not to crush.

Speaker A:

Justice means you did what is right, even when you could get away with wrong.

Speaker A:

Meaning, if you have influence, use it fairly.

Speaker A:

Now, people pay on time.

Speaker A:

Now, pay people on time.

Speaker A:

Don't underpay because they need a job.

Speaker A:

Don't delay invoices while you're upgrading wheels.

Speaker A:

Say this with me.

Speaker A:

God didn't raise me to step on people.

Speaker A:

Now, some people pray for elevation, just to get a better angle, to look down on others.

Speaker A:

Not you, not anymore.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Mercy.

Speaker A:

Compassion with wisdom.

Speaker A:

Mercy means you care.

Speaker A:

You notice, you respond.

Speaker A:

Mercy is not soft, it's strong love in action.

Speaker A:

The colleagues who who struggling, check on them.

Speaker A:

The neighbor who's lost a job.

Speaker A:

Help with groceries once.

Speaker A:

Don't just greet, assist.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, I will not walk past pain.

Speaker A:

Some of you bind demons every night, but you ignore a hungry person every day.

Speaker A:

That's not spiritual warfare, that's spiritual acting.

Speaker A:

Point three.

Speaker A:

The mission fund.

Speaker A:

The Gospel and fuel good works.

Speaker A:

Mission means your money serves what God cares about.

Speaker A:

Souls, discipleship and community prosperity should push the gospel forward.

Speaker A:

Support your church mission.

Speaker A:

Support youth development.

Speaker A:

Support training and mentoring.

Speaker A:

Support Bible distribution.

Speaker A:

Support outreach that touches, actually touches people.

Speaker A:

Say this with me.

Speaker A:

My money has a mission.

Speaker A:

If your money can fund takeaways, it can fund the kingdom.

Speaker A:

I'll say that again.

Speaker A:

If your money can fund takeaways, it can fund the kingdom.

Speaker A:

Don't tell me.

Speaker A:

I'll give when I have more.

Speaker A:

You've got enough to obey today.

Speaker A:

Let's bring it home.

Speaker A:

Some of you want God to bless you so you can finally silence your critics.

Speaker A:

Some of you want money to heal insecurities that only Jesus can heal.

Speaker A:

Some of you want prosperity as revenge, not as responsibility.

Speaker A:

Here's the antithesis.

Speaker A:

Not wealth for image, but wealth for impact.

Speaker A:

In your budget, in your behavior, in your blessing, Jesus must be seen.

Speaker A:

They may ask you questions that don't flatter you, but for you.

Speaker A:

1.

Speaker A:

If your bank statement was on the pulpit, would it preach Jesus or preach you Yay, Yay.

Speaker A:

Yay.

Speaker A:

If your spending could talk, would it say mission or me?

Speaker A:

When last does somebody smile because you helped them quietly?

Speaker A:

Are you building a legacy or renting?

Speaker A:

Applause.

Speaker A:

Because Kingdom wealth has receipts.

Speaker A:

It can be audited.

Speaker A:

It can be traced.

Speaker A:

It can be proven.

Speaker A:

Some of you don't need a financial breakthrough.

Speaker A:

You need a spending exorcism.

Speaker A:

Because the demon is not witches.

Speaker A:

The demon is add to cart.

Speaker A:

Y' all don't want to hear anything about that.

Speaker A:

I'm just going to move straight along.

Speaker A:

Here are some applicable lessons and that we can use this week.

Speaker A:

1.

Speaker A:

Add generosity to your budget like a bill.

Speaker A:

Consistent, not emotional.

Speaker A:

Choose mercy Action Weekly groceries, Airtime, taxi fare, school supplies.

Speaker A:

Choose one.

Speaker A:

Justice Action.

Speaker A:

Pay what you owe.

Speaker A:

Please fix what you broke.

Speaker A:

Nay make something right.

Speaker A:

Choose one.

Speaker A:

Mission Action Support Church outreach or discipleship.

Speaker A:

Intentionally give secretly at least once.

Speaker A:

No post, no hint, no soft brag.

Speaker A:

Teach your household this line.

Speaker A:

We are blessed to bless.

Speaker A:

Pray before spending.

Speaker A:

Lord, is this need seed or flex right now?

Speaker A:

Stop buying things you don't need to impress people you don't even like with money you don't even have.

Speaker A:

That's not prosperity.

Speaker A:

That is stress with receipts.

Speaker A:

Now let's take some time, brothers and sisters, to cross examine our hearts.

Speaker A:

One question.

Speaker A:

1. Who is better off because you are blessed?

Speaker A:

Name them.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

What percentage of your money serves the kingdom?

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

Are you generous in secret or only in public?

Speaker A:

4.

Speaker A:

Where have you been unjust owing people, delaying and exploiting 5.

Speaker A:

What pain have you walked past because it was inconvenient?

Speaker A:

6.

Speaker A:

What does your spending prove you love most?

Speaker A:

7.

Speaker A:

If God asked you to downscale for a season or find a mission, would you obey?

Speaker A:

8.

Speaker A:

Do you see money as a tool or as a trophy?

Speaker A:

9.

Speaker A:

What would Jesus say about your lifestyle?

Speaker A:

10.

Speaker A:

What would change?

Speaker A:

What one change will you make in the next seven days?

Speaker A:

Please be specific.

Speaker A:

Now here's a call to action.

Speaker A:

1.

Speaker A:

Create a receipts list on three columns.

Speaker A:

Justice, Mercy and Mission.

Speaker A:

Justice.

Speaker A:

One week.

Speaker A:

Do one action in each column.

Speaker A:

Justice.

Speaker A:

Pay something you owe or correct something you've delayed.

Speaker A:

Mercy.

Speaker A:

Help one person practically and do it quietly.

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

Give to a kingdom, work church outreach or discipleship.

Speaker A:

And 3.

Speaker A:

Write down what you did and when you did it and keep the receipts.

Speaker A:

Then say this daily.

Speaker A:

Lord, prosper me for purpose, not for pride.

Speaker A:

And listen, you don't wait for millions.

Speaker A:

Obedience starts with what's in your hand.

Speaker A:

Don't tell me you're waiting for millions to give.

Speaker A:

You can't even share.

Speaker A:

10.

Speaker A:

Run a time.

Speaker A:

Start where you are.

Speaker A:

Let us pray.

Speaker A:

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for speaking to us.

Speaker A:

We repent for selfishness, pride and image driven living.

Speaker A:

Forgive us for using blessing language while living me first lives.

Speaker A:

Lord, cleanse our motives.

Speaker A:

Give us wisdom and discipline.

Speaker A:

Make us people of justice, doing what is right.

Speaker A:

Make us people of mercy, helping the hurting.

Speaker A:

Make us people of mission, funding and serving what you love.

Speaker A:

Prosper our hands, but keep our hearts humble.

Speaker A:

Let our lives leave receipts that glorify Jesus.

Speaker A:

Let the poor be helped, let families be strengthened.

Speaker A:

Let the gospel move forward.

Speaker A:

And let your name be honored in our money, our choices and our legacy.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Can I get an amen?

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, let's close the series with the repeat lines.

Speaker A:

Say them with me now.

Speaker A:

I'm blessed to be a blessing.

Speaker A:

My hands are a pipeline.

Speaker A:

Money will not master me.

Speaker A:

My blessing will leave receipts.

Speaker A:

Now go and live it not with noise, with obedience, not with flex, but with fruit.
