Shownotes

The six hats method is designed to make you think through six different perspectives. The easiest way to conceptualize these hats is through avatars: Sherlock Holmes (of course!), Sigmund Freud, Eeyore the donkey, a cheerleader, Pablo Picasso, and Henry Ford. Chances are that’s five more perspectives than you would have had otherwise. It’s not that each of these hats is creative (they are not), but rather you will find creativity through the combination of these perspectives. All too often we are unable to think outside the box, which is by definition opposing our normal perspectives—this is a framework to do just that.
