In this month’s episode, host Natalie Dale talks with GDOT’s Assistant State Transportation Planning Administrator Habte Kassa, Transportation Planner with Modern Mobility Partners Candace Foster, and Senior Consultant, Air Quality with ICF International Seth Hartley about the research and development involved with the creation of GDOT’s Carbon Reduction Strategy Plan (CRS Plan). Georgia’s CRS Plan outlines how the state will implement federal funding from the Carbon Reduction Program, established as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, for projects designed to reduce transportation emissions, defined as carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from on-road highway sources.
