Episode Overview

Graham has been with Lush in Canada for 24 years, since the brand first launched there in in 1996. The bulk of his experience was in production and supply chain, or as he describes it, every that happens pre-retail, before eventually moving in the Managing Director role.

In this episode Graham shares his thoughts around the importance of intentionally and authentically creating your own leadership style and identity, as opposed to copying that of someone else.

He also speaks candidly about feeling nervous that he wasn’t up to the job, or wasn’t enough to be the MD and how he managed these emotions and kept them in check. On top of all this, Graham shares a number of very granular tactics and practices that he uses to structures his days and play at his best.

And just when I thought we were done, he threw in his thoughts on the importance of being really intentional, there’s that word again, around working on your marriage or relationships out of work….which we’d do well to listen do as his just celebrated 24 years of marriage.

So, without any further delay…please enjoy my interview with Graham Brown…which I know you’re going to love.
