Summary:
When you are in the presence of the Lord there is great joy. We are to walk in that overflowing joy 24/7, not just have an experience now and then. When we are overflowing with the Spirit of the Lord, all our restraints are gone and we find our selves full of His joy. We must stop just talking about these experiences and by faith walk in it today. In His presence is fullness of joy!
Show Notes:
We are to live in the overflow of the Holy Spirit.
When we live there His joy fills our hearts.
The Holy Spirit helps us with this, in that He brings back to our remembrance our experiences of being in His presence.
We must be in motion for the Lord to direct us into the appropriation of these things.
By the provisions that the Lord has given us of appropriation, (The Communion and Worship) we appropriate the overflow of the Holy Spirit today.
This is the way of life, the culture that He is creating in His family.
Quotes:
...When you get that overflow of, of that type of joy, you're so; you're uninhibited you, you lose all your self consciousness; you just spill over on everybody.
I believe that's the way we're supposed to be is an overflowing vessel of His joy.
You talk about rattling the earth, you will rattle the earth. And everybody around you if you walk in what I'm talking about is the overflowing joy and love.
I say let's do it, Lord. My statement to the Holy Spirit is okay. I'm eating of the body that makes this capable. I'm drinking the blood that has the life to make this capable. And then I open my heart and I worship Him.
It's a way of life. It's a part of the expression of the culture that we're a part of.
We send this podcast out with a heart that believes God's people are turning to Him.

Take Away:
Today God has raised up people that are moving into that overflowing joy and love of the Holy Spirit. This deep joy is breaking the restraints and hindrances of the past. This is becoming a lifestyle and is beginning to affect everything around us as the joy of the Lord is our strength.
Ron
My original salvation experience: I was, I was beside myself with joy. It was so overflowing in me. I was uninhibited. You know, when you get that overflow of, of that type of joy, you're so; you're uninhibited you lose all your self- consciousness; you just spill over on everybody, whether it offends them or not. Doesn't mean, you're not even thinking that way. You're not even, you don't really care. You're not even thinking in those terms, because you're so overflowing with joy and love, because of His presence. I don't know how you could actually live there 24/7 and survive with that kind of exuberant joy. Yeah, with that overflowing love and joy.
Deborah
It reminds me of David when he was dancing before the Lord. He was so excited about the Ark coming back in, the Ark of the Covenant coming back into Israel, he couldn't contain himself. Because of the joy that was exuberating from him, and he just stripped down, and he just danced before the Lord.
Ron
I think that that's where the greater works are gonna start coming, because when you're filled with that, you are so not you, you really are. You know, you are so not you. All your whatever, inhibitions, restraints, all that stuff is gone. It's just not there.
Dale
John:Deborah
We're going to experience even greater things, I will never be satisfied. Thank you, Lord, I will never be satisfied.
Dale
We send this podcast out with a heart that believes God's people are turning to Him. Yes, is full of joy. Full of expectations, full of gladness, full of Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving. And there is no remembrance of anything else.
Ron
You know, as you're talking, Dale, I'm thinking about something the Lord spoke to me recently, and waiting on Him. “Stop talking to me about this, and just walk in it.” Because I want to walk in this joy, not as an experience, but as a lifestyle. Because I believe that's the way we're supposed to be is an overflowing vessel of His joy. You talk about rattling the earth, you will rattle the earth. And everybody around you if you walk in what I'm talking about is the overflowing joy and love. So when are you going to do this? When are you going to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and walk in this joy and love? And the answer is what the Holy Spirit said to me. "Stop talking about it, and do it." And so I may start out with a determined faith of believing to walk in it. That may be where I have to start. I don't have the feelings of it. I'm not experiencing it like I have experienced it. But that doesn't mean I can't walk in it today. I think you have to start there. Because like I said, you can talk about it to the eternities, and you'll never walk in it. So you just have to go; okay, I believe what we're talking about; now, when am I going to actually walk in it? Well, today.
Edward
The one thing that God always does, is He won't steer a parked car. He can't do it, if you're not moving. But those who are moving, moving in repentance doing different things like this, and you keep moving, and you get an even greater joy that comes upon you. And it's so important just to keep moving and, God, don't, don't sit there and dwell on your past and sit there and dwell in, you know, on things that you've done or anything like that. Keep moving. And the joy of the Lord will be your strength.
Dale
There's two things that I do the first thing, not necessarily in an order: I go get my bottle, a little bottle of wine and a ritz cracker. And I say let's do it, Lord. My statement to the Holy Spirit is okay; “I'm eating of the body that makes this capable, I'm drinking the blood that has the life to make this capable, and then I open my heart and I worship Him. It's like getting a running start. And it's because I'm not alone anymore. This walk with God is not to be a lonely thing. His presence is going to be so encompassing, that there is no loneliness. It's an overpowering feeling in your spirit, soul and body of Him. And I like what you said earlier, Ron, it's a way of life. It's a part of the expression of the culture that we're a part of. All these things that we've been talking about.
Ron
I was thinking about, about the cloud of witnesses. And when I tune into that, think about them. I always imagine they're standing there, kind of like, on tiptoes. They could get a hold of you, they just, like, pull you through the veil, because they'd be so excited. It's like, move, move, move, do something shout, scream, do something. That's where I feel like they're doing is like, just move, guys. Come on, come on. Come on, guys. Try something. Do something, say something.
Deborah
That's fun.
Ron
And I think you're right. I think when you do do something like Dale saying, you know, get out the wine and bread and you start and you're doing it with purpose. They're like, just probably full of joy. Because they're looking at us as the anchorman, and every time we take a step.
Dale
You know why they're cheering for you? They are not complete without us, and we're not complete without them.
