This is a special episode because I am recording immediately after having translated chapter 7 of Eirík the Red's Saga, meaning that everything is as fresh in my mind as it can possibly be!
It today's episode we look at the festive Jól period during the Viking Age, which occurred during the winter and had nothing to do with Christmas (at least not until much later on)!
