Shownotes

Litha, Summer's Celebration. We have come off of May Day for those who ceremonially celebrate. Our school years have ended. We are now basking in the warmth of the sun, at least in the Northern Hemisphere. The grass is green. The promise of a harvest is on its way. It's summer! Celebrate the solstice by wearing pale yellow, blue, green, and/or white. Invite essentials such as Roman Chamomile, Lemon, Lavender, and Thyme into your diffuser. Consider rituals and prayers of gratitude and abundance.

Hi. This is Michelle Lasley with balanced shared a space where I truly believe we are better together litho the summer solstice. This is the time that we're going to celebrate our travel around the Wheel of the Year. So let's reflect. We started our year with imbolc which began the time of dawning. And at the spring equinox we went into austero. And then from May Day or beltane that ended the time of dawning and then started the time of light. And now that we've gone through Aries season during astera, and Mayday we ventured into Taurus season. Now we're ending Gemini season with the summer solstice solstice, which will happen on June 20. That will also mark the entrance into cancer season. This is in the middle of the time of light, perhaps where a Midsummer's night came from. When I think of summertime, I think of warmth and swimming in beaches and bonfires, and fireflies in the Midwest, and green grass that's wet with dew. When I asked my son what he thinks of with summary, he said screen time and it being short as his summers generally only eight weeks between school years, so well known as Midsummer's Eve. This abat marks the summer solstice, in the middle of the time of light, the solstice marks the longest day of the year. You could celebrate it by wearing pale yellow, blue, green or white. And you could consider inviting essential oils such as roman candle meal, lemon, lavender and time into your diffuser or into your cooking. And I'd really like you to consider rituals of prayer, rituals and prayers of gratitude and abundance. Summer is a time when we can see the harvest coming right. We can see what's coming before us we've planted our seeds. We've watered them, we've weeded the garden and now we're going to start to see the fruits of our labor. So take this time to enjoy and be prayerful and to show up in gratitude for all the work that you've done. And please play play in the water. play in the grass. kick a soccer ball around get your beach ball. Go make sand castles in the sand and enjoy yourself.
