What if your anxiety, exhaustion, muscle tension, digestive issues, or chronic stress weren't random at all?
What if your body has been trying to communicate with you for years—and you simply haven't been taught how to listen?
In this Tammy's Take, Tammy Vincent builds on her conversation with trauma integration specialist Hannah Dalby and explores one of the most overlooked parts of healing: the messages your body is constantly sending you.
You'll discover why symptoms are often signals, how your nervous system stores unresolved stress, and why curiosity—not self-judgment—is the first step toward healing.
Tammy also shares how she uses AO Biofrequency Voice Scans as a tool to help clients identify patterns of stress in the body and begin meaningful conversations about where support may be needed. While the scan is not a medical diagnostic tool, it can provide another lens for exploring how chronic stress may be showing up in the body.
In this episode you'll learn:
If you've ever wondered why your body keeps reacting the way it does, this episode will help you begin listening with compassion instead of frustration.

Well, hello everybody.
2
:Welcome to another episode of
Tammy's Takes, where we take powerful
3
:conversations with our guests and
turn them into practical strategies
4
:you can use right here, right now.
5
:So today, I wanna talk about something
that Hannah Dalby and I talked about
6
:yesterday, and it hit , so close to
home actually, and it's something that
7
:I think about all the time, and it's
something that I talk about all the time.
8
:I think it's really one of the
biggest mindset shifts anyone can
9
:make on their healing journey.
10
:She talked about how our bodies
are constantly communicating with
11
:us, and I could not agree more.
12
:You hear me say it all the time, guys.
13
:Get out of your head and into your bodies.
14
:I tell them, I tell everybody I talk to,
your body is speaking a language, and
15
:nobody has ever been taught how to speak
that language, how to understand it.
16
:Think about it.
17
:How many times have you
heard people say this?
18
:And I want you to put in the comments or
write below or tap on the screen or do
19
:whatever you gotta do if you have ever
said these words: I don't know why I'm so
20
:exhausted, or I don't know why my stomach
hurts all the time, or I don't know why
21
:my shoulders are tight, or I don't wanna
know why my neck hurts, or I don't know
22
:why I wake up at 3:00 every morning, or
I don't know why I just feel anxious when
23
:nothing is actually wrong How many of
you have said those things to yourself?
24
:I know so many of us have.
25
:But what if those things aren't random?
26
:What if it's not your body hurting, and
it's not your body trying to betray you?
27
:What if it's your body
trying to tell you something?
28
:I spent years believing that it
was my body working against me.
29
:I thought anxiety was my enemy.
30
:Everything was my enemy.
31
:My bleeding ulcers were my enemy.
32
:Panic attacks were the enemy.
33
:Inflammation was the enemy.
34
:But what I have learned through my
own healing, through coaching hundreds
35
:of people, and through using bio
frequency technology, is that your body
36
:is actually incredibly intelligent.
37
:It doesn't just create
symptoms for no reason.
38
:Symptoms are often, and
honestly most likely, signals.
39
:So before I go any further, I do
wanna be very clear about something.
40
:that doesn't mean that all symptoms
are emotional, your bodies are
41
:amazing, complex machines, and if
something is wrong, you still need to
42
:go talk to your healthcare provider
if something doesn't feel right.
43
:But what I'm saying is sometimes
we've become so disconnected from
44
:ourselves that we stop asking what our
body might be trying to communicate.
45
:So instead of listening, what do we do?
46
:What do we do to our bodies?
47
:Think about that.
48
:All things that are not
good for our bodies.
49
:We silence it.
50
:We bury it.
51
:We push through.
52
:If we're tired, what do we do?
53
:We grab another cup of
coffee or an energy drink.
54
:If something hurts, we take a
pill to get rid of the pain.
55
:We distract ourselves.
56
:We stay busy.
57
:And what happens?
58
:Eventually, our body
speaks a little louder.
59
:It screams.
60
:One of my favorite sayings, and
you've probably heard me say it
61
:on many, many podcasts, is the
body whispers before it screams.
62
:The problem is most of us
don't hear the whispers.
63
:We wait until it's screaming.
64
:Think about your own life, right?
65
:So let's say something is going on at work
and you're getting a little overwhelmed.
66
:How many of you notice
that your jaw is clenched?
67
:Or what if you're stressed out and
somebody's talking to you, have you ever
68
:noticed that your shoulders literally
will creep up almost to your ears?
69
:And what about if you're getting ready
to have an uncomfortable conversation
70
:with someone, whether it's at work,
a coworker, whether it's with your
71
:spouse, whether it's with your child.
72
:Think about that feeling in your belly.
73
:You get that knot in your stomach, right?
74
:What about, too, and this is a big one,
and so many of us don't pay attention
75
:to this, what about when you're spending
time with someone and after you leave
76
:that conversation or you leave that
activity, you are absolutely exhausted?
77
:Maybe, , just maybe that
person is draining your energy,
78
:physically draining your energy.
79
:Guys, these are not weaknesses.
80
:These are messages.
81
:Your nervous system is talking.
82
:Your body is talking to you.
83
:And the question should not be,
"Why is my body doing this?"
84
:The better question should
be, "What the hell is my body
85
:trying to protect me from?"
86
:That one question can change everything.
87
:One of the tools I use with my clients
is an AO BioFrequency Voice Scan.
88
:Now, I wanna explain a little bit about
it, but I do absolutely love this tool.
89
:It is not there to diagnose disease.
90
:It does not replace your doctor.
91
:It doesn't replace medical testing.
92
:If something is wrong, you need to go to
the doctor, you need to get blood work.
93
:It is not diagnostic.
94
:It is energetic patterns
that are in your body.
95
:But what it does is it gives us
another lens to explore where your body
96
:might be under stress, what patterns
might actually deserve a closer look.
97
:, It takes 10 seconds of your voice, and it
analyzes 171,000 different frequencies in
98
:your body, and it checks for imbalances.
99
:So some of the things that I've noticed
with a lot of my clients, and even with
100
:myself when I do the frequency scan,
is that you're gonna notice themes
101
:around chronic stress, maybe some
digestive stress, sometimes inflammation.
102
:Sometimes your nervous system will
look like it's been running on high for
103
:years, but honestly, sometimes it has.
104
:That's why people come to
me to begin with, right?
105
:then there's also, kind of
the emotional aspect of it.
106
:Sometimes we see those emotional
patterns that line up perfectly with
107
:what you've been experiencing, and
it's not because the scan is magic
108
:It's honestly because the body is
leaving clues, and they are energetic
109
:clues because everything is energy.
110
:I always tell my clients when
I work with them, the scan
111
:doesn't tell your story, you do.
112
:The scan literally just helps
us ask better questions.
113
:So if something shows up, like
good example is every time I eat
114
:peanut butter, it shows up with
gallbladders, gallbladder markers.
115
:So instead of thinking there's something
wrong with my gallbladder, maybe I
116
:should be like, "Huh, interesting.
117
:Every time I eat peanut butter, it
shows up with gallbladder markers.
118
:Maybe just possibly my body doesn't
like digesting peanut butter."
119
:So there's different examples like that,
and I can give you hundreds of them.
120
:But you wanna look at this
with curiosity, not judgment.
121
:You don't wanna get angry.
122
:You don't wanna look at different
parts of it and freak out about it.
123
:But what I want you to do is I
want you to picture this, right?
124
:I want you to picture walking into
your house one day, and you hear
125
:the smoke alarm going off, right?
126
:You hear boo, boo, boo, big loud alarm.
127
:Are you going to go into the room where
the smoke alarm is going off and rip
128
:it out because the noise is annoying?
129
:Of course not.
130
:You're gonna look for the fire.
131
:That's what the scan does.
132
:That's how you look at symptoms, and
you look at these Energetic imbalances.
133
:They're not the fire.
134
:The scan is not the fire.
135
:The scan is the smoke alarm.
136
:So it's inviting us to take a deeper look.
137
:So here's something I
want you to try this week.
138
:The next time you notice any kind
of tension, so it could be tension,
139
:stress, pain, fatigue, even an emotional
reaction to something, a trigger
140
:or something, I want you to pause.
141
:I want you to put one hand over the
place where you feel that tension or
142
:that stress or, and that anxiousness.
143
:I want you to take a slow breath, and I
want you to ask yourself three questions.
144
:One, what am I feeling in my body?
145
:Not what am I thinking, but
what am I actually feeling?
146
:Is it tight?
147
:Does it feel heavy, hot,
cold, buzzing, numb?
148
:Just give it dimension.
149
:Give it shape.
150
:Give it something tangible,
but just notice it.
151
:Two, I want you to ask yourself,
when have I felt this before?
152
:Not necessarily the exact same situation,
but the same feeling in your body
153
:because your body remembers feelings
long before your mind remembers stories.
154
:And three, … If this part
of my body could speak, what
155
:would it be trying to tell me?
156
:Don't force an answer.
157
:Just get curious because curiosity
opens doors that judgments slam shut.
158
:Curiosity also, in my opinion,
makes everything a little softer.
159
:Your body has literally been giving you
these signals since the day you were born.
160
:It's carried every single joy, every
heartbreak, every disappointment, every
161
:celebration, every trauma, every victory.
162
:Your body has literally carried
all of this, and it's never
163
:stopped trying to protect you.
164
:So why would you think it would
stop trying to protect you now?
165
:It won't.
166
:It never will, and it never has.
167
:So maybe, just maybe, instead of fighting
your body, become a partner to your body.
168
:Listen to it instead of
trying to silence it.
169
:Become curious instead of being
critical because I truly believe
170
:your body isn't your enemy.
171
:It's actually one of
your greatest teachers.
172
:If you just learn to listen to what those
things are trying to tell you, you might
173
:be able to heal some of those things,
and I might be able to help you do that.
174
:Honestly, I would love to.
175
:So if today's episode made you curious
about what your own body might be
176
:communicating, I would love to invite
you to schedule a complimentary call.
177
:Just book a call in the link
below, have one of the scans done.
178
:If nothing else, it's entertainment.
179
:You get back some good balancing
harmonics and things that are good
180
:for calming your nervous system.
181
:I'll put the links in the show notes,
and hopefully you'll check it out.
182
:until next time, remember, your
body is not working against you.
183
:It's been trying to protect
you all along, the entire time.
184
:The question is when the heck
are we going to stop judging
185
:and start actually listening?
186
:So until next time, guys, I will see
you back here and hope you have a
187
:blessed, safe, healthy, happy day.
188
:Love you all.
189
:Have a good day.
190
:Bye.
