Following from previous messages, Ps Sean carries the theme of speaking about Faith. This week, he concentrates on 'Faith to Wait'. Sean speaks about Simeon, (Luke 2, 25vv). Simeon had been waiting along time for a promise to be fulfilled, but having seen the Christ Child in the Temple, he was happy to be 'dismissed in peace' as his eyes had seen the salvation of all peoples. Another prophet Anna, also in the temple gave thanks to God over the child and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

These two people were quite elderly and had been waiting a long time on the promises they had been given. Their lives were a faith walk. We cannot rush God, His timing will never be our timing! Ps Sean points out that incredibly a promise made to Abraham thousands of years ago is still being outworked on the Earth today - Father of many nations right now!

Ps Sean goes on to provide more examples of how our lives need to be a faith journey trusting in God, based on promises given to us.
