-----

Bob grew up in a small town called White Rock, British Columbia, just a hop across the border from the U.S.

Bob’s musical journey started with his family. His grandpa was a jazz guitarist who played gigs on the side, and his mom grew up playing gospel music on the piano.

But the biggest influence on Bob was his brother. Together, they were known as the Sumner Brothers and made music for over 20 years, always trying new things and pushing boundaries.
