I love the idea of finding the right guides who are flexible and willing to cater to visitors on a case by case basis as well as providing ways for visitors to engage with local businesses and people in a more meaningful way. The amount of plans and stays on offer from Hokkaido to Okinawa is also impressive and a great way to spread travelers around the country more than just staying in the most crowded spots.
