Summary:

Sons are coming to birth as they find their abiding place in the Father. This deep hunger after Him is creating a relationship with the Lord that brings forth an awareness of who we are as sons of God. Now we manifest His presence as the Lord is glorified in His saints and admired by all who believe.

Show Notes:

  • As we come to know the Lord we find He is our abiding place, our home.

  • The Lord is everything to us.

  • There is this deep ache in our hearts to know Him.

  • As we walk on in this relationship with the Lord we come into a deep awareness of who He has made us as His sons.

  • As we come to know Him He manifest Himself through us in everything we do and say.

  • We have become that part of the Body of Christ that ministers a greater awareness of the Lord to all who we meet.

Quotes:

  • When we found the Lord, we found a home. He became our home.

  • ... the Lord never grows old in our hearts. He ever lives to make an intercession and He ever lives to be a part of everything we're doing.

  • It's just that ache. It's always there to know the Lord deeper.

  • There's a dawning awareness that comes to your spirit, not to your mind, but to your spirit that, oh my God, I really am a son of God. I really am one with the Lord. He is done these things.

  • If we know the Lord, He is demonstrating Himself through us wherever we go, whatever we're doing.

  • That our ministry, who we are in the body, just bring people into something more and make them more aware of the Lord and that all they're going through is not in vain. He's gonna be glorified.

John 15:4-8

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. f anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit;so you will be My disciples. Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn That shines brighter and brighter until the full day. I Corinthians 12:27 You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it. I John 3:1-2 See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. Romans 8:19 For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.

Takeaway:

Our deep longing within us is to abide in the Lord as our true home. Out of this hunger for Him grows an intimate relationship that reveals our true identity as sons of God. As we abide in Christ, His life flows through us, and we manifest His presence in all we do.

When we found the Lord, we found a home. He became our home. He became something so far greater in us than anything out there in, in the world. And how do you explain that to somebody that has a lot of money and all of the toys and things that make them feel good for a little bit? When you get a brand new car and in about six months is old.

It's not the new car anymore. You get some new furniture and it's nice until it's not and then it's old. Everything in this world on a human level that has some type of attraction to it becomes very old after a while. But the Lord never grows old in our hearts. He ever lives to make an intercession and He ever lives to be a part of everything we're doing.

I'm so thankful to the Lord because I've seen a lot of people that struggle and they struggle even when it comes to even thinking about God or having any kind of concept about God. And yet in their hearts buried somewhere deep there's this hole, there's something missing and they really can't point it out.

A lot of people try a lot of different things. What they're holding onto is something they can, they can't take with them. What we have, we take with us, thank the Lord.

Ron

There's just an ache in our hearts and it's never gonna go away. No matter how confused I am or not knowing what the Lord's doing, or mountaintop or valley experiences, none of that really in the long term moves me. It's just that ache. It's always there to know the Lord deeper.

Ken

Our focus has to be on the Lord. It has to be about Him. That has to be the preeminent thing that you're reaching into, and you're standing on. It's our drive to know Him. There's this drive in my heart, I can't get rid of it. I don't wanna get rid of it. I just wanna know the Lord. I just want to keep on walking with Him.

Ron

What I love is the Holy Spirit every day is leading me into being productive, being creative. I'm not spending my time dwelling on knowing the Lord. I'm spending my time being His presence.

It's an acceptance of who He's already made me. And what's really interesting is when you take that step, all of a sudden it's like somebody takes a veil away from you and you realize. Don't stand on the starting line, get running, get jogging, get moving in the race. There's the place you come to where you've realized I don't have to talk about the Lord.

I don't have to talk about knowing the Lord because I'm one with him. He's created a one, He's done this, and now it's time to actually walk it out, be it. Just be it every day. And it's not a mental thing, it's not a concept mentally. It's an unfolding of the Holy Spirit in and through you. And so the spirit leads you and pretty soon it's a dawning awareness.

That's a great way to say it. There's a dawning awareness that comes to your spirit, not to your mind, but to your spirit that, oh my God, I really am a son of God. I really am one with the Lord. He is done these things. The Holy Spirit is just pushing you going, okay, now move a little bit. Move. Take another step. Take another step. Take another step. It's the frontier. We are in the frontier. We're in the frontier.

Ken

We're wanting to know more. We're wanting to know the Lord in a greater way. That's what our hearts are really geared to. That's where we're really at. And in knowing Him greater, guess what happens? If we know the Lord, He is demonstrating Himself through us wherever we go, whatever we're doing. Everything God allows us to go through He's always there leading us into a place you've never been.

He opens the door for you to hear on a different level. He really touches your spirit and lifts you up into a greater place than you've ever been. And no matter what condition you're in or what you're going through, that's where God can bless you and meet you and magnify Himself in you no matter what condition you're in.

Trisha

All of that we're doing today, all of that, we're, we've gone through all that. I still say it goes out into the body of Christ. That they realize too, everything they're going through is to bring forth Christ, to bring them into more of Him. That our ministry, who we are in the body, just bring people into something more and make them more aware of the Lord and that all they're going through is not in vain. He's gonna be glorified.
