The Many Aspects Of Our Worship
We operate in a realm of faith. The Lord's presence comes by faith. And we have to stay in the realm of faith. The exercise of our faith is everything. That's how we break through. That's how we come into His presence.
There's nothing that you can do in a mechanic to bring the presence of the Lord if it's not filled with faith. It doesn't matter, how loud you worship, instruments you use, you use no instruments. So you can use anything, and everything, and that's not going to produce or bring forth the presence of the Lord.
And your will is a trigger to your faith. If we're in the realm of faith, we are free in the creativity that we use.
So the Holy Spirit can use anything to bring forth His presence in us, and through us. If we're exercising, and in the realm of faith. Anything else doesn't work.
It's a heart to heart relationship. Your worship, you don't need an instrument. You're the instrument. Everything we do brings us to a focus of what we believe, because it comes from our spirit. It's a spirit to spirit relationship.
There's no limitation here. There should never be a time when we gather together that we don't meet the Lord. It's totally absurd because all we need to do is exercise our faith, and the creativity of the Holy Spirit.
There's no reason whatsoever, unless we just don't exercise faith or we fall into ruts of thinking that we can do a certain thing and produce His presence.
I think we're coming into a new level where worship is becoming a reality to us in our walk with God, because it's not dependent upon any outside source.
It comes from within , and our connection with the Father. And so when we're walking with Him and loving Him, in essence, we're worshiping in His presence . The reality of faith, and just connecting with the Lord ,and loving Him where we're at. And loving what He's doing and every aspect of our life, everything around us, is a part of what He's put us into allowed us to be a part of.
Therefore I urge you brethren by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice Acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship surrendering Just you're surrendered, and you're worshiping, and everything you do a spiritual service
I was thinking of the scripture on the flip side of that. I can give my body to be burned. I can do all these things Without faith, it doesn't please the lord.
Without faith It's impossible to please God . He comes to God must believe that He is and He's a rewarder of those You know that love Him. This whole aspect of just knowing God I was thinking this morning about the real level of worship. We talk about coming into a greater relationship with the Lord, coming up a little higher.
What is that? But worshiping God, but with the faith that we have and the will that we, that God's given us to believe Him, that is a spirit of worship.
Are you exercising your faith? Are you exercising what you believe? You long for the time when it's just you and Him. The levels of worship that God is drawing us up into are as rapid as we want to give ourselves to Him.
There's a worship that the Lord's bringing that wants to bring us together. And unite us as one so that we can really worship Him, and glorify Him, honor Him above what we've been able to do. And I think that's involved with faith, and that's just pressing into His presence.
Every man and woman has been given a measure of faith. They just need to exercise it. Faith is not based on your emotions, what kind of day you're having. It's not based on any kind of circumstances. It's based on the gift of God within you, and you exercising that gift.
The scripture says, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. As you exercise feeding on God's word, letting it live with you, richly within you, that increases your faith, that keeps you on the edge.
There's never a time that God is not with us. He's with us to the end of the age. And if we're recognizing who He is, what He's doing, if we're worshiping and thanking God for what He's doing for us, and in us on a daily basis, on a moment by moment basis, that's part of our worship.
To know the Lord is to actually know him, which means there's an unfolding revelation of who He is. So there's aspects to His personality, there's aspects to His nature, all those things, and His ways, all that encompasses an actual knowing of the Lord. And faith is part of that. Love is part of that.
Worship's part of that. It's an ache in your heart. Lord, I want to know you. For that to be something tangible for us human beings, it has to come with an unfolding revelation to us, and however He chooses to appear. He chose to appear to Moses as a certain thing. He chose to appear to Abraham as a certain thing.
How is he going to appear to you today? Is He going to appear to you as a hunger? Is He going to appear to you as worship? Is He going to appear to you as faith? How's He gonna appear to you today? That's exciting.
It's a moment by moment relationship with God about how we approach Him, how we walk with Him, how we thank Him, how we're reaching in with this hungering, and thirsting after God, because God is everything.
Great and marvelous are Your work, O Lord God Almighty. Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations. Who not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name, for You alone are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.
He is looking for worshipers. He's looking for people that love Him, and worship Him, and give credit to Him for every single thing that happens in our lives.
