Hello, listeners. We're not gonna have a traditional episode today as we're just coming off
Speaker:the Decadent Care Summit, which was amazing, by the way. Feedback has
Speaker:been great. On Friday, we had the Community Impact Exchange, which we were
Speaker:joined by many amazing visionary leaders, and we had some
Speaker:great conversations at the table around innovation and the church. It
Speaker:was amazing. And then we had the Sound of Hope premiere screening over
Speaker:at Calvary Temple. 100 of you joined, and that movie is so
Speaker:inspiring. We hope that you'll share it with friends and family as well. And
Speaker:then Saturday, that Cost of Poverty Experience. This was the
Speaker:first time Care Impact did the Cost of Poverty Experience, and there were
Speaker:so many that were impacted. So much
Speaker:good feedback. Many wanna take it to their churches, and we wanna bring it
Speaker:to more churches, more places. So reach out to us. We
Speaker:wanna get the cost of poverty experience in your community. And
Speaker:then we did some care sharing action where we actually did some care portal
Speaker:deliveries as groups. We went out into the community providing some
Speaker:practical needs, and there are some amazing stories that came out of that.
Speaker:Hopefully, we can share some of those on here. And then we ended the
Speaker:weekend with a decadent care gala, which was wonderful. The jazz
Speaker:sounded great. The dinner was fabulous. Anyway,
Speaker:again, thank you for all that came out and joined us. But today,
Speaker:we're gonna talk about presents and generosity and how
Speaker:you can get involved.
Speaker:As the year draws to a close and the Christmas spirit envelops us,
Speaker:we're reminded of the incredible power of giving. This season, we
Speaker:invite you to join Care Impact in celebrating the true meaning of Christmas,
Speaker:a time to reflect on the gift of god's love in sending Christ
Speaker:and extend that love to those in need. At Care Impact, we believe
Speaker:that Christmas is more than just a holiday. It's a call to
Speaker:action. It's a time to embrace the spirit of generosity and
Speaker:make a tangible difference in the lives of others. This year, our
Speaker:Christmas fundraising campaign offers a unique and lighthearted way
Speaker:to do just that. So forget the boring usual presents.
Speaker:This Christmas, you can give a proverbial lump of coal to spark
Speaker:compassion in your community or offer a proverbial cookie to to
Speaker:nourish those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. You can even
Speaker:make awkward cool again with a proverbial ugly sweater
Speaker:that helps us unite diverse groups to better serve vulnerable
Speaker:people. For those seeking to make a bolder impact, consider a mic
Speaker:drop moment that amplifies stories of faith and service across
Speaker:Canada. And speaking of mic drop, get ready for something
Speaker:big coming to our podcast space this year. I'm not gonna give it away
Speaker:yet, but stay tuned. We've got exciting new developments in store that you
Speaker:won't wanna miss. And finally, help us kiss
Speaker:poverty goodbye with a proverbial mistletoe contribution that empowers
Speaker:churches and nonprofits to meet the needs of their communities.
Speaker:And if you're feeling truly inspired, surprise us with your
Speaker:generosity. Choose your zeros and help us reach our goal of
Speaker:$75,000 allowing us to expand our reach and
Speaker:equip even more people to live out their faith through compassionate
Speaker:action. And guess what? Your donation is gonna be
Speaker:matched. So this Christmas, why not give the gift that truly matters on
Speaker:behalf of someone you love? We'll even send a beautiful card to let them know
Speaker:about your thoughtful donation in their name. It's the perfect way
Speaker:to honor friends and family while making a real difference in your community.
Speaker:As you consider your end of year giving, we encourage you to sow into the
Speaker:work of Care Impact. Your gifts, no matter what the size, will help us
Speaker:continue to connect, equip, and empower communities to care
Speaker:for one another in tangible ways. Visit Care
Speaker:Impact christmas.com to explore this campaign and discover
Speaker:how you can be part of something truly special. Together, let's make
Speaker:this a Christmas season of generosity, hope, and lasting
Speaker:impact. And don't forget to join us throughout the rest of the year for
Speaker:inspiring stories based on each of these unique gifts leading up to season
Speaker:4 of the Journey with Care podcast. Again, visit careimpactchristmas.com
Speaker:to make your impact.
