Shownotes

Listen as Dr. Allyson Boodram MD (Pediatrician) tells her story about her time at Ground Zero  of the 9/11 disaster and the diagnosis of her Cancer in 2018 , attributed to her time there.  She describes how the diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer shocked her life and caused a melt down of anxiety and depression. The methods that she used to better manage her mental health are inspirational.

We also discuss the state of Mental Health in children from the viewpoint of a Pediatrician.

Allyson somehow finds time to host the podcast "The Pulse Of Healthcare"  at https://anchor.fm/thepulseofhelthcare

This is a very informative and uplifting story of the courage of DR Boodram.  Her attitude is good and she was a delight to talk to. I wish her well and hope and pray for the best.
