In today’s episode, Ted and Barb introduce us to Aaron Johnson who is the owner of Craft Coating, Inc. The company provides the highest quality zinc plating and black oxide for a wide range of original equipment manufacturers including military agriculture, heavy machinery and many more. Aaron shares with us different ways to ensure safety in his company. It is important to always make sure that your people’s safety is a priority. 

Aaron started his company by working hard and making sure that the right people are hired. It’s essential to hire people to do what they do best. Handling a big company could be chaotic and challenging at the same time especially when you have a lot of employees in your hands so Aaron found ways to help him manage the safety of his employees by researching best practices. He learned from all the experience that he encountered. He shared that the safety of his employees has a personal aspect to it since he treats them as a family. Aaron shared that one of the most important recommendations he could give is to make sure that somebody is going to take ownership of the safety of employees. You need someone who is going to be focused on the job and find ways to make everything simpler.
