Why is it when something is asked of us, we often have a hard time just saying NO? As women, we can be so used to taking care of other people’s needs, that many of us tend to overlook what we truly want for ourselves. Whether it’s because we don’t want to let people down or hurt their feelings - there can be some weird guilt that comes up when we choose to say “no”.
Instead of just using one word to express what we want, we feel like we have to explain ourselves to everybody. It’s like we’ve somehow come to believe that saying no, just isn’t enough. In today’s episode of The Karen Kenney Show, we get wicked comfortable with using the powerful word “NO” as a complete sentence & begin to understand that nothing more than that simple but impactful two-letter word is needed.
