Knowledge is power. So why can’t those in recovery, who obtain a profound knowledge of themselves and others, stay sober? Surely this was the answer - self-knowledge. But it wasn’t, was it. Psychiatrists and psychologists point out the deep need every human being has for practical insight and knowledge of one’s own personality flaws. Having thus cleaned away the debris of the past, we consider how, with this newfound knowledge, we may develop the best possible relations with every human being we know. Most importantly, we must share our testimony and this gift of knowledge with all who can use it because we are problem people who have found a way to overcome our problems one day at a time.
