what we found out is that the other half of Google suspensions, sometimes

John:

a lot of times is things taken out of context, including misrepresentation.

John:

That is also things that are taken out of context.

John:

We'll give you some extreme examples here so that you understand

John:

how deep down the rabbit hole.

John:

Wow.

John:

This is road really messed up.

John:

We're talking about merchant center disapprovals, which is

John:

the black box of Google, which.

John:

Is horrible.

John:

It's just the area where, Google has been going to to restrict things.

John:

And there is so much vagueness in Google especially in merchant center

John:

that they will simply just apply the most broadest, disapproval or

John:

suspension that they possibly can.

John:

And then it's up to you to go and figure it out.

John:

What's good about this though, is Google has actually been, telling you what to do.

John:

It's actually been pretty, pretty cool.

John:

I forget exactly which one it was, but it was a lead that came in and

John:

it said misrepresentation, which that's the hardest one to do.

John:

Cuz misrepresentation says, Hey, there's something about what you're

John:

saying that we think is not true.

John:

go find it since it can be in your blog.

John:

it gets a little bit.

John:

So merchant center disapprovals.

John:

A lot of times what will happen is with a misrepresentation.

John:

I would say four outta five times, majority of time, pretty high, high amount

John:

time is this missing contact information.

John:

So things like you have to have at least a physical address, an

John:

email address or phone number two of those three must be present.

John:

We had a client came over and us says, Hey, my merchant center got disapproved.

John:

I'm selling these type of products.

John:

I think it's gotta be the fact that, these products are not liked

John:

by Google and yada yada yada.

John:

And I hopped in merchant and looked at the explanation that they popped in.

John:

Just says, Hey, you're missing contact information.

John:

Like, go fix it.

John:

Like, oh, I did that.

John:

I don't even remember if that person became a client.

John:

I hope they did.

John:

But it was like, yeah, we can work with you.

John:

All we have to do is just make sure you have two forms out of the three

John:

forms of contact information on your.

John:

So I'll give a few, examples that I've been working with lately, and

John:

that are some kind of crazy oddities.

John:

Actually I'm gonna pull up a few of them.

John:

And so we'll talk about what I saw and what we are doing to fix it.

John:

This one is called Delivery close up a down now inside of.

John:

so here's what's fun is we have Account suspended, broken checkout experience.

John:

This one I've been seeing more lately, a broken checkout experience.

John:

All this means any suspension that we see in the beginning is

John:

actually the Google bot who is essentially a dumb robot, trying to

John:

go to the site and buy something.

John:

And can't, it doesn't know why it can't.

John:

It just says, Hey, I can't suspended that you're not allowed shopping now.

John:

When an intuitive user, who's just, you know this is not a glitch I'm interrupting

John:

the video you're watching because I need to remind you that I'm always

John:

looking for people to join our team.

John:

And now back to your regularly scheduled program, a real simple,

a lie person would go to the website and say, yes, I'm over 21.

John:

This isn't the reason for.

John:

I'm sending a person right.

John:

To let's say a beer, like let's say mosaic, paleo, awesome.

John:

Google bot rides to this page.

John:

It says, okay, mosaic, paleo there's no price on here, world.

John:

Number one, broken.

John:

My add to cart, I didn't add to the cart, broke a checkout experience suspended.

John:

What happened was a dumb bot, a robot.

John:

And when I say dumb, I mean that in the best sentence, it's simply just trying

John:

to confirm an action that is possible.

John:

Using its best judgment on where it should be able to go.

John:

And it says, Hey set an address.

John:

I don't have an address to use.

John:

So it's broken.

John:

So we're now suspended.

John:

for example, a broken checkout experience may not be as hard as.

John:

Oh, gosh, how are we gonna tell the client that their way that

John:

their website is functioning is not applicable to Google's bot?

John:

We actually reached out to simply their Google rep and

John:

said, Hey, why is this broken?

John:

They go, I don't know, this looks fine.

John:

Let's just get a manual review and you'll be fine.

John:

I've already requested a review.

John:

All they did was just send Google bot again and say, yep, the

John:

stupid robot found the same thing.

John:

so the requesting a review, isn't actually manual.

John:

We talked to a very smart individual recently that used

John:

to work at Google and Google.

John:

And he confirmed that the people that are doing these reviews

John:

are just offshore companies.

John:

They're not even a part of Google.

John:

They're a different company doing like a white label

John:

offering of a person at Google.

John:

So just know that who you reach out to now is also going to be sometimes not

John:

the best answer, the best answer for this right now, just blanket across the.

John:

Best quickest path to the least resistance and get something to be completed

John:

is reaching out to the Google rep.

John:

The Google rep could open a ticket, elevate it, and then work with

John:

inside of Google to get these fixed.

John:

So things like misrepresentation, I can't figure out why Google rep could

John:

elevate it and get more feedback and then come back and hop on a call and

John:

say, Hey, this is what actually happened.

John:

These people here, I had two disapprovals or two, things wrong.

John:

One.

John:

Oh, actually three things.

John:

One, it was alcohol sales that was giving me a limited result.

John:

I look at my asset groups and so here I got recreational drug and alcohol sales.

John:

So I'm like, that's interesting.

John:

I understand that I'm selling alcohol and performance.

John:

Max I've excluded the 18 to 24 year old group.

John:

I said, is this eligible limited because I'm selling to an audience

John:

that is limited by nature.

John:

Like, is it actually limited for alcohol?

John:

They said, yes.

John:

Technically a eligible limited is.

John:

Okay.

John:

It just means that you are going to.

John:

Limited to who you can show your audience to.

John:

It's gonna show fine for everyone above 24, but you're eligible but limited

John:

cuz you cannot show it from 1824.

John:

I'm like, so this is a false positive.

John:

They say yes.

John:

They said, what about recreational drugs?

John:

They said, well, did you read the policy?

John:

I said, yeah, it talks about alcohol.

John:

He's like, what do you mean?

John:

I said, well, a recreational drug as for substance that altered

John:

mental state for the purpose of recreational otherized inducing high.

John:

That's alcohol.

John:

He goes, yeah, I don't know why this isn't working.

John:

And he says, well, cocaine can.

John:

And what we found out is that the other half of Google suspensions, a

John:

lot of times is things taken out of context, including misrepresentation.

John:

That is also things that are taken out of context.

John:

He'll give you some extreme examples here so that you understand how

John:

deep down the rabbit hole goes of.

John:

Wow.

John:

This is really, really messed up.

John:

So.

John:

The reason why I got suspended or not suspended, but I got, ad

John:

that's not going to run is because I have drugs on my website.

John:

Wanna see what the drug is?

John:

Sweet tea.

John:

a company.

John:

This is weed on my site.

John:

so this thinks that I'm selling marijuana.

John:

It took me like three hours to.

John:

I literally just started searching on their site.

John:

I was like, is it like a cracked glass?

John:

Is they thinking it's crack?

John:

This is it.

John:

And then Google's like, oh yeah, that's it.

John:

And I said, please have someone take a look at this and make sure

John:

I'm not actually selling wheat.

John:

They said, okay.

John:

So I'm gonna hear back from soon with some re approvals now, but what's

John:

interesting is without being able to contact a rep, I can send the same

John:

bot to the site every single time.

John:

And it still finds weed and still gets dis.

John:

So I still think that a GMC suspension, if there is a rep available.

John:

And normally now there is because every one of our clients been hit over the head

John:

with people that are just trying to get them to auto apply recommendations that

John:

says, Hey, for, at least the next three months, I'll be your Google rep, which

John:

means, Hey, I'm here to basically get you to opt in all the crap you don't need.

John:

And then I'm gone.

John:

And then we say, okay, sounds good.

John:

Let's schedule a call by the way.

John:

I don't want that shit.

John:

But.

John:

Real quick question.

John:

Why is there weed being disapproved?

John:

I don't know.

John:

Let me go, let me go get that fixed for you.

John:

So I found a way to kind of use the Google rep who just, by smiling on

John:

the phone with them essentially to get them to actually jump through some

John:

hoops and need them to jump through.

John:

So.

John:

The suspensions aren't exactly for things that are realistic.

John:

I've also seen suspensions for misrepresentation because the website

John:

started with a sale that was too drastic.

John:

It was like this product, normally a thousand dollars, 60% off,

John:

it's only 400 bucks right now.

John:

And Google's misrepresentation said actually we know that

John:

product, isn't a thousand dollars.

John:

It's the same G lid is what we see on Amazon for 4 99.

John:

You're misrepresenting what's going on in the world.

John:

Apparently now you're suspended.

John:

we got suspended because they, ran a too crazy of a sale and

John:

they fluffed up their own numbers.
