Summary:

In this new day God has brought drastic changes to the lives of His believers. There is a deep determination arsing in the hearts saying, “I want to go on into what God has for me!” As each day unfolds we find that the things of the lesser level that we have lived on begin to be “put away” as we reach into the dawning of this new day within us.

Show Notes:

  • As God dries up one level He draws us into a new level and we determine to go on into what He has for us.

  • As we grow in God the lesser things (childish things) are done away with.

  • As we read the scriptures we find that they begin to open up to us with new meaning and revelation as we walk in the new level He brings you to.

Quotes:

  • It's about the determination in our hearts that God has put there to go on.

  • God takes you out of something, and brings you into something new. He brings you into a new level.

  • In those scriptures from 1 Corinthians 13, shows how we go from one level to the next. The childish matters - those things, they're done away with.

  • If you're going to grow up, you got to change the way you think; the way you do things. I can see that those things become inactive in my life, and that they are matters that I put away.

  • So as we grow in grace, and in the knowledge of the Lord, don't you think the Spirit gives new input, new information, new revelation, new understanding in that aspect of moving from realm to realm...

  • I have never seen so much a flow of the Word coming out of revelation in the Spirit.

References:

I Corinthians 13:11-13 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

Takeaways:

As God brings deep changes into our lives we find that He is drawing us up into a new level. This new day of Spirit has opened and with a deep determination we reach in to walk in it. Each day we lay aside the “childish things” as we grow in His grace and knowledge to become all that He wants us to be.

Transcripts

There are drastic changes. Where He absolutely dries up one level, not the Word, not what came, but dries up that whole level of walking in what you were walking in, and saying, okay, it's time to go on.

It's about the determination in our hearts that God has put there to go on. And so the dissatisfaction I'm feeling right now is: I don't want to stay here, Lord. I want to go on. This is something that I think people face. As the Lord is doing something deep in their hearts, with determination so deep that there's no quit. It's just like, so, another mountain has to be cast into the sea.

God takes you out of something, and brings you into something new. He brings you into a new level. The Lord helps you to walk in that level. And finally, you're, I guess you'd say, comfortable in that level. You're able to move in it. Then He takes you out of it. And everything that you thought was, wow, this is such amazing revelation the Lord's giving me.

And It doesn't necessarily dry up, but it doesn't mean what it did, because all of a sudden He put you on a new level, and you have no sea legs again. I don't know what the heck's going on; and I don't know how to think; and I don't know how, nothing's making sense, and it's not a fun place.

That's where He takes you because He's drawing you up to a new level. And you come into this new level it's the same thing again. The Lord, you waiting on the Lord you're drawing on the Lord, however you want to say that, then He begins to show you, and things become real on a new level.

There's a scripture that deals with just what we're talking about, changing from level to level or the growth process. In Corinthians 13, and it's where when I was a child, I spoke as a child; I thought as a child; I reasoned as a child; and when I became a man,

I did away with childish matters. Proceeded with love never fails, whether there be prophecies, they shall be inactive, or tongues, they shall cease, or knowledge, it shall be inactive. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect has come, then that which is part shall be inactive. And that comes out of the Scriptures Bible. That's what we're talking about. We're in a place, and all of a sudden, there's no action. As we grow, things become inactive. I did away with childish matters.

In those scriptures from 1 Corinthians 13, shows how we go from one level to the next. The childish matters - those things, they're done away with. That's an action on our part. If you're going to grow up, you got to change the way you think; the way you do things. I can see that those things become inactive in my life, and that they are matters that I put away.

And that's driven by my love for my Father. And as I walked in His Son's footsteps - to be a son - He created me, and my childish matters were put away. I see it all happening all around me. The growth of what God's doing in men, and my friends, and people that I even see once in a while. And I bless Him. And I thank Him. And I love Him because now, you know, the old saying about the pastor of the church preached to his people, and they took it off and ran. He come up and said, which way did they go? I'm their leader. I've got to catch up to them.

How many times have you run into something that was an old time? And those things, we just discard them. We just let them go. They no longer hold anything in us. Because we're not there anymore.

The scriptures I'll read, I'll go, it doesn't resonate, but it doesn't resonate because where I'm at. As I go forward, I probably can read that scripture on another level, and all of a sudden it will, it'll pop off the page.

Remember God's a Spirit, and His Spirit is the one that's teaching us His Word, revealing His Word to us. So as we grow in grace, and in the knowledge of the Lord, don't you think the Spirit gives new input, new information, new revelation, new understanding in that aspect of moving from realm to realm, if you please?

I have never seen so much a flow of the Word coming out of revelation in the Spirit. And it hits you and you go, wow, I never thought about it that way. I never saw that before. But all of a sudden you go, God, that's alive, that's living in my spirit.
