“When life seems to be falling apart, we often find ourselves falling into God’s perfect plan for our lives“ - Wesleyne

Genesis 40:14 to 15:

And please remember me and do me a favor when things go well for you. Mention me to Pharaoh, so he might let me out of this place. For I was kidnapped from my homeland, the land of the Hebrews, and now I’m here in prison, but I did nothing to deserve it.

In these verses, Joseph, having just interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh's cupbearer and baker, makes a heartfelt plea to the cupbearer. After years of unjust suffering, first being sold into slavery by his brothers and then being falsely accused and imprisoned in Egypt, Joseph sees an opportunity for vindication and release. His request is simple: to be remembered and mentioned to Pharaoh. This reflects Joseph's hope and his desire for justice, as well as his trust in God's providence, even in the midst of his trials.

Today, you will learn about the human yearning for justice and the importance of remembering those who have helped us. Joseph's plea is a poignant reminder that even in your moments of triumph or relief, you should not forget those who have been instrumental in your journey. It underscores the value of gratitude, loyalty, and advocacy for others, especially when they are in positions of vulnerability. Moreover, Joseph's faithfulness in the face of adversity serves as an inspiration, teaching us that even in the darkest moments, one can maintain integrity, hope, and trust in God's greater plan.
