Is STAR TREK: OF GODS AND MEN a fan film if the fans who made it are prolific Star Trek actors??

Steve and Justin are going where (at the time of this release) only six Letterboxd users have gone before… Tim Russ’s (Star Trek Voyager) non-canonical Star Trek universe. Can an all-star Star Trek cast including Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, Ethan Phillips, Alan Ruck, and Garret Wang save this low-budget love letter to Star Trek from feeling like the Wrath of Comic-Con? Logic would suggest ‘no’. But it was still good enough to change the rules around what can be considered a Star Trek ‘fan film’.
